Lucia Beverley is located down a beautiful floral alley just a stone's throw from the popular market town's bustling Saturday market. The elegant two-storey restaurant features sumptuous interiors as well as a beautiful and cosy heated outdoor courtyard. It serves a modern Italian all day menu seven days a week from 12-10pm, with weekend brunch served from 9 -1130am Friday to Sunday.

    First time dinner, food was excellent and the service was just as good. Would like to say it was excellent.

    Always great food and a great selection however it’s always the same steady service, mainly on the drinks front. We came on a quiet Sunday evening and it took over 20 minutes for a cider, 2 cocktails and a soda water. Whenever talking about the Beverley Lucia’s it’s quite commonly said about slow service is so definitely something to be worked on. Staff were all lovely though

    Risotto undercooked and did not have sufficient flavour. The waitresses apologised for the food quality. She offered to replace but having waited an hour and knowing how long it would take to cook another risotto we declined. More so because we were on a deadline with a train to catch. It would have been nice for someone from kitchen staff or management to acknowledge and apologise. It was rather insulting to receive a bill with added 10% service charge rather than 10% discount for poor quality food. We will be voting with our feet by not returning. Overpriced for quality of food served

    Amazing evening at Lucia’s . Staff were wonderful as always and food was amazing!! There was an incident involving a table of 3 very rude customers and they gave the staff a very hard time and refused to pay their bill but it was delt with efficiently and without any nastiness by the manager and a member of the serving staff ! The 3 women showed themselves up so very much when they left we all applauded as they were absolutely disgusting the way they behaved!

    The restaurant looks fabulous. Very colourful decor. Comfortable chairs. The food was absolutely delicious and our server was lovely and helpful and professional. I'll be looking forward to going again.
