Ever since our opening in 2013 Lucha Cantina has worked toward our mission of bringing people together. As you have experienced for yourself, 2020 changed things up a bit and for us that meant adjusting our mission. While bringing people together remains our unifying goal, where that happens has become less important. Whether you are gathering around one of our tables with your family and friends or whether you are bringing everyone together around your kitchen island, we want Lucha to be a part of that experience. As you can see, we are doing our best to change with these changing times. That said, not everything here is changing. Our kitchen is still continuing to create weekly features with as much passion as they produce your favorite menu items that we've had since day one. Our bar offers a great selection of tequilas, wines and beers to compliment our menu. We look forward to seeing you here (or curbside) soon.

We really enjoyed the delicious Vegan options. And the house-made guacamole was also excellent. And finally - good drink options at reasonable prices.

Main course delivered within 5 minutes of the appetizers - should have been staggered. Chicken fajita tacos were horrible - could not recognize the meat as chicken

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't care for your entree. Did you let your server know? We have a standing policy here that our guests won't be allowed to pay for food they didn't like. I really wish we could have resolved this for you while you were here. OT won't let me type in my email address here, but you contact me through our website and if you'd like to send me your mailing address I'd love to send you a coupon so that we can make it right on your next visit.

Stephanie was the best waitress we could have ever asked for. The food was delicious and our glasses were never empty. Lucha Cantina never disappoints. We were seated promptly upon arrival.

I was not ready to have Mexican food in Rockford. My party decided to give a chance. We were pleased to no end. The food and the service spot on. Their salsas are made in house and super fresh. Our server was an absolute delight. When in Rockford I think everyone needs this experience. Thanks.

Delicious as always. The queso is so good and I haven’t had a salsa I don’t like. Tried one of the rice bowls this time—excellent. Would always recommend.
