Le cadre du Luce est romantique, avec ses lampes Murano et ses planchers en plâtre vénitien et en travertin qui confèrent une ambiance exclusive. Luce signifie « lumière » en italien et ce restaurant est clairement « lumineux ». Le Luce offre une expérience culinaire rêvée, que ce soit pour un dîner sur le pouce ou pour un souper à plusieurs services, ainsi qu'une belle sélection de vins raffinés en provenance d'Italie. Le Luce propose une cuisine italienne authentique faite à partir d'ingrédients frais, riche en saveurs et en passion, et inspirée par le chef italien Gabriele Grigolon. Le personnel attentif et compétent offre toujours un service impeccable, vous permettant de simplement vous détendre et de profiter de votre repas. L'établissement est idéalement situé dans la Hearst Plaza Tower, dans le quartier des affaires du centre-ville de Charlotte. Depuis son ouverture en 2002, il a reçu des éloges exceptionnelles. Helen Schwabb, la critique gastronomique du Charlotte Observer, a octroyé au Luce la note « Excellent » de 2004 à 2010, et le ZAGAT la note « Extraordinaire » de 2004 à 2010.

Luce patrons can park in the Truist Tower parking deck. Entrances are located on 5th and 6th streets in between College & Tryon. We offer two hours free parking validation M-F before 5pm, after 5pm; on weekends parking is free with Luce validation.
Public transit
You can use the LYNX Light Rail Blue Line, get off at the CTC/Arena station, and walk towards 5th Street. Walk west on 5th, one block, to the Truist Center, located on the corner of 5th and College. Luce is located on the Tryon level of the Truist Center. Our entrance is in the Truist Center Lobby, and parking is available in the Truist Center Garage. Use that address as your destination on your GPS if you are driving.

Don’t ask me why but we hadn’t been to Luce in 20+ years. It is certainly apparent why this restaurant is still going strong! We had a delicious meal and first rate service! We will return sooner for sure!

If there were more stars we would give them! This is such a special restaurant. There are not many restaurants that are all-round excellent. This one is. Our favorite dish is the lobster frutti di mare, but there are always tempting risottos and a to die for osso bucco, plus many more. Don’t wait for a special occasion- just go. The evening will become special regardless!

The halibut was perfect - done but not overcooked. I love the beans that they serve at the beginning of the meal. We had crème brûlée for dessert and it was verr creamy and smooth. Excellent service - friendly but not overbearing.

We had to catch a show an hour later and because of a wreck on the highway we were 15 minutes later for our reservation. We called and the lovely hostess was kind and pushed it back. Since we were a little short on time, they were great to get our drinks and food to us quickly. It was delicious. I sat down feeling stressed because of the traffic and being late and they were great to pick up my spirits. Thank you all!

This was our first visit to Luce. The food and service was outstanding. Very attentive. Will definitely be going back. This coming from a former New Yorker who has a high standard on rating Italian restaurants.

Great as always! I’ve been about a dozen times over the years and haven’t had a bad meal or experience. My wife and I came here for our first date years ago and just came back to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The food is always exceptional, the service is top notch, and the atmosphere is great. If you haven’t been to Luce yet, here’s your not so subtle hint to check it out!
