Back for our third visit at Luce, the service as always was fantastic.

Food/ service was great. Italian wines were great. Only downside was that we got 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts and we were still pretty hungry afterwards. So if you want to be full I suggest getting their tasting menu but it is pricey.

The food was fantastic. We did the 9- course tasting menu, added the $15 cheese option, and ordered the sweetbread ravioli entree. All the dishes were great but one of my favorites were the pear soda and the Pacific blue prawn from the tasting menu. I found the price more reasonable than some other Michelin star restaurants I've been and believe it to be one of my favorites.

If you're vegetarian, keep moving. There's one veg entree and no veg tasting menu at all!

Great ambiance, fantastic food and wine. Above average service. Other restaurants with tasting menus provide a the menu along with a small treat to take home. Would definitely go back.

We celebrated our anniversary at Luce and were delighted with the complimentary Bouvet crémant upon our seating. Their menu offered an excellent selection of California cuisine. We started with the king salmon confit, beef tartar, and the foie gras - ALL SO DELICIOUS! My husband enjoyed the New York strip steak and I had the snapper with mussels and calamari. Both entrees were well proportioned and wonderfully presented. We ended with 2 desserts, the Pavlova and the Cardamom Panna Cotta. They were so yummy in my tummy and the perfect ending to our celebration. Service (by Jerry, I think) was impeccable. We will definitely return to this special restaurant. It's no surprise why Luce has been awarded the Michelin star for the past 9 consecutive years.

The dishes are very small portion. Three course menu for $65 is not Worth it. Especially the main dish it’s so small that you can eat it in one bite.

We were on our babymoon and the staff went over and beyond to make our evening special. They even had sparkling apple juice waiting for me when I arrived. The food was amazing and the portion sizes were perfect.

We also stayed at the hotel. Generally speaking all the staff was very responsive and friendly.
Here I include valet staff, check in and out staff, and Glenn who brought our things to the room.

Regarding Luce: Everything was fantastic and food was excellent. James, our waiter, was great,
very friendly and quite entertaining without being intrusive. We ordered the 9 course meal with
wine pairings. Our wine server was very knowledgeable and fully explained each pairing. It was

The food, service and ambiance were very good. The table setting had much privacy so that you barely heard people talking next to you. The servers were very friendly with smile. The food ingredients they used were good quality, healthy. The restaurant's high ceiling and large space make you feel very comfortable. It's very good for friends' gathering and special occasions.

Came here for dinner during restaurant week 2018. The set meal (3 courses) was $65. The salmon appetizer and the amuse bouche was really good, but things started going downhill after that. The main course I got was the sea bass and it was not as tender as i expected it to be. Dessert was alright. I've had better. The environment, ambiance, and service was good. I would come back if it was a date night or if I'm not too hungry. The portions were quite small but since I don't eat much, it was just enough to fill me up/make me content. Not sure if it was worth the $65.

Lunch price was reasonable. Not only their food lives up to their one Michelin Star, I was especially impressed with their service!

Every staff was courteous and professional. Most important of all, they seems really enjoy their job and sincere to the customers! Looking forward to my next trip!

I scheduled a business lunch here and could not have more thrilled with then entire experience. The food was amazing, but the service was even better. They knew it was a business meeting and were very attentive then entire time. We had one party who was late and they were very patient and checked in to see if we needed anything while we waited. Once we ordered the food came very quickly. The staff continued to be attentive, but were also very respectful of our conversation. I would recommend this to a friend or co-worker and will be back!

While this spot isn't necessarily trending in the SF foodie scene. It should not be overlooked. The plates were exceptionally well prepared, so very delicious. The staff offered some of the very best service I have experienced in SF. If you are working your way through the Bay Area's Michelin stars, you will be happily surprised at Luce.

I was allowed to make an appointment for 2:15, but they let us know that their kitchen closes at 2:20p. I enjoyed my coffee, but they really shouldn’t have allowed me to reserve a spot for late lunch. Odd.

Food was as expected, good. James was a very good server, just friendly enough, very professional and did everything to accomodate our special allergy requests. He made the evening special and very enjoyable.
