Love Lucca, always great service and amazing food:)
We arrived at the restaurant and were greeted by the hostess, she was pleasant. We were seated immediately in the small room to the left of the lobby, there were not many diners in this room and the atmosphere was very quiet. We started with the salmon tartare served with a kind of Texas toast, the toast and celery used were all I could taste-there was no salmon flavor at all. We left half on the plate and told the server it was bland. For the main courses we ordered the Staler chicken and the Pork chop, the chicken was good but had an oriental smell and flavor which I did not expect since it was to be served with a marsala reduction-the pork chop was flavorful but on the dry side. Although the meal was not horrible it wasn't great either. I am hoping it was just an off night.
Great service from the minute we walked in the door waitress was very attentive to all I needs there’s no rush atmosphere food was definitely a tan this place just keeps getting better just was a fourth trip and definitely not our last
The food was fair- very disappointed
We were seated promptly and the service was excellent from our waitress and all the other servers. Both our entrees were delightful. I had the Lobster Gnocci and my husband had the pork chop. We also enjoyed dessert with freshly brewed coffee! We were very pleased and will be definitely be back!!
If I could give more stars I would. Absolutely fantastic meal all around! Service was amazing, the food was fabulous, ambiance was on point, and the mixed drink I ordered was tasty! Very clean and the tables are spaced out so you feel very safe eating there. Lucca is definitely going to become my go to restaurant and it should be yours too!!
Everything was wonderful and our waitress was exceptional!
Just an awesome restaurant, food ,service ,staff , price is better than Boston . An experience you will look forward to returning and tell your friends about ……Dick
The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the ambience was nice. This was my second time at the restaurant with my friend, who has been there a couple of other times herself, and it was up to her expectations.
Waiter was great-appetizers were ok. Meal was good but expensive and didn’t come with any sides. If you wanted sides they were extra. Will not go back anytime soon
This was our first time visiting Lucca and I went in expecting yet another mediocre restaurant experience on the South Shore. Boy was I wrong. Lucca excelled in all areas from front of the house to waitstaff and most importantlly their outstanding and clearly talented chef. Just go and enjoy what fine dining is all about. Thank you Lucca !
Our waitress Emily was dynamite. There was some holdups in the kitchen, however. Food was good, not memorable, however.
Loved the food , but the timing seemed way off. The food was whipped on us so fast it would have been quick for an appetizer, never mind it was our entrees. The couple next to us felt the same. It felt super rushed
This place is just what the South Shore needed! The food was amazing. I highly recommend the pork chop, it was one of the best I've ever tasted. I tasted my friend's lobster gnocchi, and it was fantastic as well. Both the cocktail and wine list were much more extensive than anything else I've seen around here. The restaurant looks beautiful (those sinks in the ladies room are a trip!). The service was great as well, which is surprising given the current staff shortages. I will definitely be back.
It was just ok
Amazing! Great food, great service, perfect for date night.
Everything we ordered was delicious and the drinks were terrific.
We enjoyed our experience from beginning to end. Fine selection of food and drink. Service was kind and attentive. We look forward to returning soon!
Our experience was great! Food, service, and cocktails were all wonderful. The outdoor seating is was charming.
Date night with my husband. Food was delicious, definitely try the gnocchi with lobster. Tiramisu was divine. Service was great-our waiter was attentive but nothing overbearing. We sat under the tent in the patio. Which was nice. Highly recommend. A bit of the North End comes to Rockland!
Never disappoints! This is a lovely restaurant with fantastic bartenders, waitstaff the food is amazing. If you are seeing a evening or afternoon cocktail and bite, this is the perfect place
Everything from the server to our meal was outstanding.
Great time as always Sean
The tent atmosphere was pleasant and enjoyable on a lovely summer evening.
Great food variety always excellent and excellent wait staff! Highly reccommend.
Wonderful meal as always.
The service was great and the food and cocktails were excellent’
We had a lovely evening sitting outside under the tent. The food was amazing and the weather was perfect!
Great experience, delicious wine, great recommendations from our excellent server. The outdoor patio is really nice. I came with one friend a couple weeks ago and liked it so much I brought my whole family with me. Everyone had an amazing evening. Bravo to the team at Lucca.
Sat outside. Service was fine but very slow Two people go the shrimp/pasta dish and it was almost too spicy to eat. Other than that, the food was very good
Really delicious, best veal milanese! Also, good drinks. Interesting, varied menu.
A must try!
Sean and Co have brought a Boston restaurant right into our south shore backyard. We dine there weekly and it’s never a disappointment. Menu choices are varied and always well prepared. Traditional Italian pasta dishes like bolognese to cavatelli, premier steak options and their burger is memorable. Seafood options are tasty and never a let down. Service, In short they make you feel like family. Lucca has survived a horrific year for restaurants after only opening in January 2020 and is now well poised to be South Shore Go to for fine dining or that get together you’ve been wanting to have with those dear friends you need to catch up with. Book your table now, you’ll be back again & again I assure you.
Amazing dinner experience for our anniversary dinner. Loved everything!
The food was very dissatisfying. Will not go back.
From greeting to check, service was welcoming and professional. Appetizer of cheeses was good, and scallop entrée was appreciated, if a bit steep. Cod entrée was just OK, seemed a little undercooked.
Excellent food this evening and the veal carpaccio
Special app was amazing!!!
Two of the people had never been there. We all enjoyed awesome service, meals and cocktails. Dessert was delicious too!
Food and service were great. We’ll definitely return to this fine establishment.
We had a nice evening . Food was great and service.
