   If you set your expectations low enough, Lucca is a pretty good value. The staff are very pleasant and the ambiance is fine. Our group of 4 sampled the meatballs in marinara as an appetizer and they were quite good. As for the entrees, we had 3 different pasta dishes and a pizza. The pasta is al dente but the sauces were inconsistent. I had a house-made fennel sausage (very good) with a few strands of broccolini and orechiette pasta with lower-quality olive oil as a sauce without anything else. It really needed help to become a complete dish. My wife's pasta of an arriabiata version of the marinary with linguine and shrimp seemed much better. The pizza (meat-lovers) looked very ordinary. Mixed drinks are watery. The wine list is extensive, especially with Italian sources. We had some cannolis for dessert which were of supermarket quality. Total for 4 of us was $300. Free valet parking. Bottom line, if you're in the mood for meatballs, this is your spot. Otherwise, I suggest you keep looking.

   Took our 13 month old here for an early dinner and had a wonderful experience. The service got a little slower as the restaurant got busier but that’s to be expected. Would definitely come back again and recommend to others!
