   We made a reservation and waited one hour to be seated. Our server offered us specials that were sold out.

   Always a good time at Lucca where you see a combination of old school folks with new school vibe. My only surprise was the Fettucini as ‘ok’ with the wine in the mozzarella tub, but the rest of the food was fantastic. Really a 4.5 star review, but normally a 5 star place.

   As always, delicious food and drink. Great people watching. A fun atmosphere and outstanding customer service. You are made to feel like one of the family.

   We went for a wine dinner and the food was average which is unusual. We later found out that chef Claudio was NOT there. This is the 2nd time I’ve been there when he was not there and it was an underwhelming experience. Food was fair, wine pours were “light” vs other wine dinners, and silverware was basically tossed on the table each course. The other time was on a Sunday during the holidays with an abbreviated menu and found out he was not there. With that said we were at the previous wine dinner at which Chef Claudio was there and it was spectacular! Usually we go on Saturdays and it is great. My advice is to make sure Claudio is there and you are in for a treat, but if he’s not, I will pass.

   Celebrate my brother’s 60th birthday with a table for 12. Wry attentive service and delicious food. Will definitely return.

   Food and service were good and I'd go back. It was loud in there on the Saturday night we were there as they pack tables closer to each other. That's not necessarily good or bad, just be prepared if you go at a time when they are full.

   The service was wonderful! The General Manager came to our table and asked our opinion of the service because he believes it's an important part of the experience - love that!

   We were there to celebrate a milestone birthday and Deanna took really good care of us. They honored our Open Table request and sat us at a fantastic table. The food was delicious! Great night had by all!

    It was our first time at Lucca's Oakbrook, and I have found my new go-to restaurant. The drinks were amazing, and the food was incredible!! We had the charcuterie for an appetizer. It was outstanding. The meats, cheese, and olives were high quality, and even the crustini were warm. Pappardelle pasta was homemade and wonderful. The chocolate lava cake was warm and delicious. The noise level in the dining room was great. I love not having to shout to talk at the dinner table. The bar area is loud, but it's a bar, so you go with it. I can't wait for the summer entertainment and to enjoy the outdoor space.
