The chef in the hat is a gracious host and the food is phenomenal.
Decent food - the salmon was excellent, but the burger wasn't.
Great food and wonderful service. We found another new favorite restaurant.
Top notch as always.
Great neighborhood place with excellent food and service
Delicious! Staff were nice, knowledgeable and not snobby. Everyone wore masks and kept distance but it didn’t feel awkward.
The food is tasty, not too salted, not over spicy, prepared with elegance (a flower as a decoration on the top of the entree I chose). We really enjoyed everything. The beef bourguignon was delicious, the duck breast was perfectly cooked and the sauce was stunning. The duck confit was delicious too. We appreciated the real freshness of the ingredients. The waiter was very pleasant. And the safe distancing well respected. We had a great dinner. We even had the pleasure to talk with the Chef!
As always a top notch restaurant from top to bottom: location, service, professional wait staff, decor and of course the food. Special experience: the boss was cooking!
Just fun to go out Herbal months of not eating in a restaurant. A real pleasure
First time back since last fall. Chef Rautureau was in the kitchen, so we knew food would be as it should. Duck confit did not disappoint, and the pheasant special got raves. Martinis similarly earned high marks. Negroni glass was so packed with ice it was nearly impossible to drink; and contained about a thimble-full of actual cocktail. Frustrating. service was embarrassingly remiss: we sat for an unreasonably long time before even being acknowledged by our server, he hastened off before we could order drinks, and left us for long periods, entirely forgot my side order...you get the picture. Perhaps another staff called in sick that evening, but still: not ok. We will of course be back, but this was not what we hoped for on one of our first "Covid outings".
Always great good & service! Feels safe during Covid too. A+
Luc is in a great location. Everything was ok, but nothing as great as it has been before
What delight to have a dinner with friends where the food, service and ambiance were perfect, and almost seemed like a pre-Covid times.
Luc is one of my husband and my favorite restaurants in Seattle. The owners and staff are amazing as is the food and ambiance! Always a lovely experience- thank you so much Luc!
We had another delicious dinner in the lovely patio at Luc
Dinner was delicious. the food is mostly overpriced for what it is. The $140.00 of wine was past its prime and there was cork in the bottle. So, not ideal to serve.
I always enjoy coming to Luc and so grateful to the staff there who made it possible. Wonderful burger and fries!!
Such a special place for a late summer dinner. Food and ambience were perfection!
Delicious food and great service plus the availability of outdoor seating!
Luc has consistently delivered on a quality dining experience. I have eaten there for both brunch and dinner. Can't wait for them to commence serving brunch again!
Truly a perfect (birthday) evening in every way. In this time of COVID, Luc was doing everything right.
Outstanding as always and Jonathan gave great service!
Wonderful meal and great service on Friday 7/24. Chef Thierry Rautureau cooked for us, took the time to talk with us and personally thank us for coming. I loved my meal. I had a grapefruit vodka with elderflower, French 75, app was cherry fennel and burrata salad, and main was duck confit with couscous. Dessert was amazing also. Please go support our local restaurants!! It is clean, spaced out and safe.
We always love Luc! They have wonderful food and staff. Excellent value for a quality Bastille Day menu. Charming Wife thought the actual cost was double what we paid. Show these folks some love and support one of best local restaurants in the area.
Really loved Luc! Our first time there and we will be back. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. We have been looking for a great French restaurant to frequent and I think we have found our future spot!
We enjoyed a wonderful Bastille Day celebration, on the patio, with great food and welcome, uplifting spirit, on a welcome experience out of the house.
I dined in the restaurant for the first time in many months. I felt very safe because restaurant staff and other patrons were practicing social distancing. (I did have a takeout meal from Luc about a month ago, and it was among the best things I had during the entire Covid lockdown.) On this recent dine-in visit, I had the quiche appetizer and beef bourguignon for my main, and my dining companion had the cherry gazpacho and duck confit. All four of our dishes were excellent. Martinis were also very good. Staff was friendly and seemed genuinely appreciative to be receiving guests. This is one of our absolute favorite neighborhood restaurants in Madison Park / Madison Valley; our experience a couple of days ago was -- as usual -- excellent.
Excellent, authentic French bistro food. Outstanding service. Great cocktails and wonderful snacks and small plates for those eating lightly.
So nice to eat at my favorite local bistro. The staff is outstanding and it feels like coming home. The food was a delight as always and I cannot wait form my next visit!
Excellent as always
Had better meals here maybe it was Covid
We felt safe and that staff were taking all the necessary precautions to open responsibly. Enjoy great cocktails and food at Luc in a safe, socially distanced way!
Food, service ambient is always amazing. Though due to Covid we sat outside. They have great spacing that feels very safe in today climate.
Greeted by Kathy Rautureau with kindness and gratefulness. Limited menu at the moment as it was the 1st day of Phase 2. But everything we ordered was of the highest quality. Also a visit from Chef Thierry who thanked us for coming in. Great choice for 1st meal out.
Always a great place with amazing food, service and space.
Always quality food and service, despite the Covid restrictions. Viva la Luc!
So glad to have had the opportunity to visit a restaurant after so long. And this was great place to eat! Nice patio, great weather, and a good ambiance. The chef was very conversational, as was the rest of the staff. We split the duck confit, which was cooked perfectly. Also had a Gem Salad, house made humus with wonderful roasted garlic, and Polluck crustini. Super yummy!Everything was great! Would definitely eat here again.
The owner stopped by our table three times! He was as happy to see us as we were to be out of the house. While the menu is currently covid limited, the food was delicious and not a bite was left on any of our plates. Dessert was great and the service was awesome.
Superb food, wonderful service. It was my wife's birthday and the server brought out the dessert with a candle, a nice touch. Luc is a fun, entertaining place to visit and enjoy the superbly prepared food.
Graciously welcomed by owners who expressed their appreciation of our business. Luc is a neighborhood gem. Great cocktail and wine list.
