Service, food, the drinks, and the personal touch were exactly as one would expect when celebrating their 28th Valentine's Day. The steelhead was cooked to perfection, as were the prawns. And the Mule was as good as the first one we had many years ago. We'll be back.

Everything was exquisite except for my boyfriends main dish; the steelhead was completely tasteless and the accompaniment was sparse. My entree and the sppetizers were lovely

The prix fixe menu is always a good value here. Start with a Kronenbourg on tap and work your way through four perfectly-executed courses.

Luc also serves the best pork chop in the state. They vary the preparation, but it's always perfectly seared on the outside and moist and tender inside. The best.

The kitchen bar in the back is the best if you’re interested in watching the food prep. It is warmer in that area (no surprise) but the counter is back far enough from the kitchen that you can still have a conversation.

We had the pork chop and chicken entrees with gem salad and French onion soup beforehand. All were tasty! The soufflé potato crisps were fantastic.

Outstanding, as always. Luc remains one of the best restaurants in Seattle, and probably the best good-food-for-the-price.

Their Steak Frites is alway delicious! They typically have one of the best Salad Lyonnaise around, however is was just a little "off" our night--too much arugula, not enough frisée, and too much dressing (the egg was perfectly soft boiled). Our server was fantastic, though!

Lovely French restaurant in a cute neighborhood. Portions are not large, would suggest an appetizer beforehand. Service was friendly.

I like Luc and I'll be going back but the service was spotty. First the waiter didn't ask for drink or appetizer orders. He wanted to jump right into the dinner. He was abrupt. Then one of our party ordered Coq a vin which we were told must be ordered early. Maybe ten or 15 minutes later, the waiter came back to tell him they had run out and he'd need to order something else. It was all just a little irritating and less than smooth.

Excellent meal, as always. My only quibble this time was that service was a bit slow. And the delicious onion soup is not being made with veal stock any more. It's now chicken stock, so I'd have to reduce my rating on the onion soup from an A+ to an A. The Boeuf Bourgignon was magnificent. A generous enough portion that I took some home for dinner the next day. The flavors had ripened overnight and the dish was even more delicious the second time around.

The food was good except for two of the meat dishes we ordered. We had a steak dish that we ordered medium and it came out very rare. The quality of the meat was OK but If you aren't going to cook it the way we wanted it, then you shouldn't ask us how we would like it cooked. The quality of the lamb that i had was sub-par for the price. Too much gristle.

This was our second time dining at Luc. We lived in France for a few years and love French cuisine. Luc has all the elements of an authentic French bistro: great food, excellent service, ambience, and a prix fix menu w/wine pairings. Try it! You won’t be disappointed.

We've eaten here many times before and probably will in the future.
There were maybe 10 people in the restaurant at 7:30 and at least three of our party of four were looking forward to having the beef bourguinon. For some reason reason they said they were out of that dish.
The waiter kept pushing the special and some wines which we weren't interested in. Especially after he said they didn't have any beef bourguinon.
We ordered a salad and our entrees. The salad came and, before we were finished with it, the entrees showed up. My wife and I were sharing the salad so it isn't like it was too large to finish in a reasonable amount of time.
My wife ordered the mussels which were cooked with sausage . Except they weren't. They delivered the sausage a few minutes later and just set them on the table without any explanation.
Maybe we'll go back...

Friendly, competent and relaxed service. Overall well prepared, perfectly seasoned dishes. The mussels were huge and perfectly cooked. The beef Bourgogne was very rich, almost too much so, heavy. The risotto was surprisingly delicious as it was meatless and I prefer main courses with meat. The leg of lamb entree's Demi glacé was very fine though the meat was a bit overdone. Still the meat was fine, mild and not gamey. The burger was huge and good but we've had better, certainly for the price. The beet salad was excellent but overpriced. The souffléd potato crisps were also expensive but I'd pay for them over and over again as they were absolutely delicious.
For me, the main negative about Luc is the ambience. Our party of 5 sat in the open space and it's a little too dark and not very cozy feeling. The chairs are not very comfortable, hard. The booths look very cozy but with 5, too crowded.
Next time, I'd order the beet salad and souffled potato crisps and a glass of white wine!

Fabulous French bistro for lunch on Christmas Eve, the food was delicious as well as artfully plated. I had the foraged mushroom omelet which was melt in your mouth delicious. The starter was French onion soup which was hot and bubbly with melted cheese and the finish was chocolate pot de creme, and creme brûlée . Serve that all up with a nice bottle of red and you have a wonderful holiday meal. Oh, and did I forget to mention it started to snow, how perfect!

We three had a lovely meal at Luc. The burger was fabulous, my trout almandine was deliciously buttery and tender, and the chicken was delectable. Our waiter was very attentive. Sitting the quiet booth, enjoying our conversation, we vowed to return soon. In the summer there is some outdoor seating but the warm ambience in wintertime is welcoming.

Lovely bistro feel and open kitchen. Ambiance is very reminiscent of France. I love the pre set menu for a variety. Our only disappointment t was you could tell the server was stressed and not able to get to us in a timely manner. Which foreshadowed the amazing food; not sure I ever saw her smile. Hope next time is better.

Recently moved to Seattle . Luc has become our favorite. Food is excellent and consistent. We bring visiting family here for a special nite out, but love to come here just because it's so delicious! They were out of the potato puffs, which are wonderful, but it just became necessary to order another wonderful thing from the starter menu. Food was superb all the way around. Service was wonderful. Not a bad thing to report!
