Excellent low key servers and background music added to the excellent cuisine make Luc a favorite. Brunch is a wonderful way to experience this restaurant. The almond crusted French Toast is a rich unusual dish that must be tried.

We had the fixed menu with the wine pairing for Valentine's Day. It was terrific--along with just the right amount of attentiveness from staff. Luc is my favorite restaurant in Seattle. Consistently outstanding.

Service, food, the drinks, and the personal touch were exactly as one would expect when celebrating their 28th Valentine's Day. The steelhead was cooked to perfection, as were the prawns. And the Mule was as good as the first one we had many years ago. We'll be back.

Everything was exquisite except for my boyfriends main dish; the steelhead was completely tasteless and the accompaniment was sparse. My entree and the sppetizers were lovely

The prix fixe menu is always a good value here. Start with a Kronenbourg on tap and work your way through four perfectly-executed courses.

Luc also serves the best pork chop in the state. They vary the preparation, but it's always perfectly seared on the outside and moist and tender inside. The best.

The kitchen bar in the back is the best if you’re interested in watching the food prep. It is warmer in that area (no surprise) but the counter is back far enough from the kitchen that you can still have a conversation.

We had the pork chop and chicken entrees with gem salad and French onion soup beforehand. All were tasty! The soufflé potato crisps were fantastic.

We had to sit at a table for 2 and there was 3 of us, so space was too tight. Food and
ambiance was otherwise great!

Outstanding, as always. Luc remains one of the best restaurants in Seattle, and probably the best good-food-for-the-price.

Their Steak Frites is alway delicious! They typically have one of the best Salad Lyonnaise around, however is was just a little "off" our night--too much arugula, not enough frisée, and too much dressing (the egg was perfectly soft boiled). Our server was fantastic, though!

I like Luc and I'll be going back but the service was spotty. First the waiter didn't ask for drink or appetizer orders. He wanted to jump right into the dinner. He was abrupt. Then one of our party ordered Coq a vin which we were told must be ordered early. Maybe ten or 15 minutes later, the waiter came back to tell him they had run out and he'd need to order something else. It was all just a little irritating and less than smooth.

Great neighborhood place to eat, I've worked my way around the menu and the service is always great. I had a friend in from out of town and wanted their opinion. They loved the place and can't wait to visit again.

Excellent meal, as always. My only quibble this time was that service was a bit slow. And the delicious onion soup is not being made with veal stock any more. It's now chicken stock, so I'd have to reduce my rating on the onion soup from an A+ to an A. The Boeuf Bourgignon was magnificent. A generous enough portion that I took some home for dinner the next day. The flavors had ripened overnight and the dish was even more delicious the second time around.

The food was good except for two of the meat dishes we ordered. We had a steak dish that we ordered medium and it came out very rare. The quality of the meat was OK but If you aren't going to cook it the way we wanted it, then you shouldn't ask us how we would like it cooked. The quality of the lamb that i had was sub-par for the price. Too much gristle.

This was our second time dining at Luc. We lived in France for a few years and love French cuisine. Luc has all the elements of an authentic French bistro: great food, excellent service, ambience, and a prix fix menu w/wine pairings. Try it! You won’t be disappointed.
