We always enjoy this wonderful restaurant! Feels like we are in Europe on holiday - a nice break from downtown!!
Bittersweet meal tonite. The food was great as always and the service was wonderful as expected. Sadly tonight was the last night for Luc.
Last meal before they close for good. Sad to see them go. Food was wonderful as always.
We enjoyed the last dinner (sadly) at Luc before it closes on August 28, with careful attention to Covid protocols, for our outdoor seating reservation. The food was exemplary, finished off with the surprisingly light yet rich chocolate torte. Thank you, Chef Thierry for being your gracious self and even opening and serving the wine selection. Best wishes to you and your staff in your future endeavors.
Best salmon I've ever had in my life, and I've had a lot of salmon. Highly recommend.
Delicious food and great service. Sad to see this restaurant close its doors but at least I got to taste food from the chef in the hat!
We wanted to experience Luc one last time before it closes. We had a wonderful meal and really pleasant conversations with Chef Thierry! The occasion was our 49th wedding anniversary. We’re really going to miss Loulay and Luc, but know Chef Thierry will do well in his retirement.
Was one of the most lovely meals I've ever had! Delicious from top to bottom and Mr Thierry Rautureau himself stopped by to say hello in the most kind and entertaining manner!
Great meal. We will miss this place!
Well, let's just say that the closing of our beloved Luc Restaurant is a HUGE loss to Seattle. Incomparable in fact! Lus is--was-- one of only two restaurants in Seattle that always pleased us 110%. The food is exquisite, the wines perfectly complimentary, service excellent and very friendly, and Monsieur "Chef in the Hat" a total delight to meet. We shall miss Luc and its gentile owner for the rest of our lives in Seattle. We walked out of Luc last night at 10:00 with very heavy hearts, but also with joy that we were able to celebrate our anniversary dinner (# 53) once more in its lively and engaging atmosphere. Ave atque vale!
Sad to see this lovely seattle institution go. And glad we were able to say farewell. 💔
The food was amazing. I had the beef bourginon and I wanted to scrape the bowl clean. My server was very good and often checked in to see if there was anything I needed. So sad this was my last visit since they are closing soon. What a loss!
Best wishes for your next chapter. We appreciate what you have created and shared with us over the years.
Luc is an outstanding french restaurant. It has amazing food and service. It is very sad that it will be closing.
We love Luc. It’s been one of our top go to special event places to sit and have stunningly good food and drink. We’re very very sorry you’ll be closing. Thank you so much for all the great meals over the years.
Had a reservation at 8:30pm so definitely later in the night. Food was great and ambiance was cozy, but they were of the initial wine and entree we wanted to order
Our entire neighborhood is heartbroken that Luc is reaching its final days. It has always been a great local resource, with outstanding food and service and a wonderful vibe. Thank you Thierry and Kathy and crew!
A Great French Bistro, that we will miss, Its closing in Aug 28th 2021
Dinner with our friends. The same friends who we had dinner with when Luc first opened.
It was so lovely to be able dine at Luc one last time. Such a lovely environment with excellent service and exquisite food.
Such a wonderful bistro! So sad it is a victim of COVID and closing in two weeks😢
We will miss this restaurant so much! Go while you still can!
One of, if not, my very favorite restaurant in Seattle. Been going there with family and friends since they opened 11 years ago. The service is always gracious, the food so good you want to order a second. Shared a lovely dressed burrata tomato salad. I had a salmon dish last night that was delicious from first to last bite. My partner ordered the Beef Bourguignon, always his favorite, he did offer me a taste of its silken sauce, amazing. Rounded off with a warm chocolate torte with caramel mousse. Always a pleasure to be in this restaurant.
Wonderful.. love the owners working and socializing with patrons. Outstanding!
So sad that Luc’s is closing. Best of everything to Kathy and Thierry. Your food has sustained me for the past 33 years. Many many thanks for so many wonderful memories.
Our swan song with them…heartbreaking to see them go…
Delicious dinner. Attentive waitstaff. Able to easily talk with table guests, but restaurant had a nice vibe of activity. Head Chef came by and spoke with us. Wonderful evening!
Everything was great.
Lovely staff! Will miss this neighborhood gem.
Have never had a bad experience or meal at Luc. Sad to hear this is their final month. They will be missed.
The food and the Chef in the Hat were over the top. I brought some friends that had never experienced high end food and were blown away by the flavors that just popped. It was a different level of dining to them. The prices of the food freaked them out, but once they tried it they realized how good it was and worth it! I will miss it when they close down in a few weeks. I have been a fan of the Chef since 1990
Great food and service. Sorry to see them closing.
Outstanding meal. The lamb was truly extraordinary. Service was excellent and the outdoor seating was appreciated.
The experience was lovely. I will be sorry to see them close.
Sadly this restaurant is closing in a few weeks and we may have seen the last of the Chef in the Hat here in Seattle. I am hoping he will pop up somewhere else as a restauranteur--I will definitely keep an eye out for his next step.
We’ll miss you! Everything was delicious!
Saturday night out with my partner. Saw Chef on an old episode of Top Chef Masters. Dinner was wonderful. Shared an appetizer of burrata. Then I had the halibut fish special and my partner had the cassoulet. Both dishes were exquisite. We finished with a Greek yogurt dessert. Only criticism is no bottles available of sparkling available on the wine list. Lovely ambiance and delicious food - life is beautiful.
Luc is always a reliable, wonderful neighborhood place. We'll miss it.
Perfect in every way - as always. Please don't close....
Great service and food. Special place for sure. The white chocolate pot de creme was simply amazing.
