My husband and wanted a casual but elegant dinner out and Luc’s fit perfectly. The atmosphere was dress-up casual. We ate at the bar, Nathan the bartender attended to us even though the bar seating was full of other diners the seven was great. He suggested a great bottle of red and my husband and I had the cheese plate, split the salad that they let us order off the prix fix menu and we split the Boeuf Bourguignon, they gave us each side plates and individual bowls so Mike and I could share our delicious stew. We closed out with glass of port and killed our peanut butter s’mores dessert. Perfect night out -
Food was great, fresh and service was excellent. Love the neighborhood and ambience of the restaurant.
Date night for my daughter and future son-in-law who were visiting from out of town for holidays. They loved the widow booth you gave them. They both raves about the food and I believe the “Lucatini” 😊
Loved our Dinner. The food and service were great and several days later, my friend is STILL raving about the Boeuf Bourgignon (gosh, I hope I spelled that correctly) :D
I enjoyed the opportunity to meet Thierry, who dropped by our table.
Thanks so very much for the nice meal.
Phenomenal, delicious, cozy! Beef bourgouin (sp) is top notch!
Been to Rover's, Loulay, and Luc over the years many times in past years. This time we went with my nephew/niece from Everett/Montana and they really were impressed with the food, etc. and enjoyed the evening. We will be coming again, since you are basically in our neighborhood. Thanks very much. Tom Sykes
Wonderful neighborhood French bistro that is very loved by all.
Can't think what could really spoil a visit to Luc so this isn't it. I was quite disappointed, however, with the presentation of the trout amandine -- which I have enjoyed for years.
I always love Luc, but this time for the first time, the food was a bit off. The trout, which I've had many times was subpar, not as thick and juicy as usual and it was overwhelmed by the accompanying vegetables (although they were very good). We also ordered a side of Brussels sprouts and they were way undercooked (and I understand that veg should be undercooked). In retrospect I should have asked for them to go back to the kitchen for a bit more cooking, which I know they would have been glad to do.
Great birthday dinner
Our server was phenomenal! Thank you!
It’s a nice little neighborhood bistro so it’s handy for people living nearby to walk there. We live in Bellevue and decided to make the drive because we read that their French onion soup is wonderful. It was good, not amazing. And it should be amazing for a smallish bowl at $12 and nothing to accompany it. So we also ordered the beignets and for $12 you get three. So two people have to split a small beignet. It seemed silly to us.
Lived nearby forever, can't believe it took this long to go to Luc! Fantastic brunch - mimosas, lattes, omelettes, beignets. Love the booth seating. Food was so delicious! Will be back again soon!!
Fantastic food! I love the ambiance and decor. I’ve had dinner and brunch here and I’ve been impressed by both.
We went to Luc for restaurant week - an annual reminder that you need to dine out with your friends. The food was delicious (Leek soup, venison, and pear dessert with a French name that I couldn't pronounce. The wine pairing was perfectly enhanced the food.
We went as it was restaurant week and none of the three of us had ever been there and we had all wanted to go and we will all be back. It was awesome. The food, preparation, wine pairings including the dessert wine pairings and the desserts—OMG—we loved it!
We had a wonderful meal as part of restaurant week. We will be going back!
We enjoyed at brunch at the restaurant - but they were out of 3 different entrees when we arrived at 11:15 so they weren't close to being done with brunch. It was disappointing as two of the entrees were things we wanted to order. But the food we received was very good.
We love Luc -- it is a neighborhood gem. And the best onion soup I know of. If only the seats weren't so uncomfortable!
The onion soup makes this place a destination! Simply delicious!
Wonderful venison and trout! It's the perfect place for a great everyday dinner out. For the same reason, it's not perfect. Some things can be a little slow or the timing can be a bit mixed up. We ordered frites as a 3rd appetizer and they came with the entrees. The food is delicious every time, however. No matter how you go in, you'll come out feeling better.
We visited during Seattle Restaurant Week. Everything about the meal was amazing, every dish was perfect and the wine pairing for each course was spot on. I will never forget the meal.
My husband and I came here for restaurant week. We thought the food was delicious and the service was spot on— maybe even too attentive. :) we enjoyed our experience especially the sergeant fish.
This was our second time at Luc. Both times the servers were outstanding. So warm and friendly. I've only had places be actually rude to me a couple of times; most are fine. But here they are above average. The food was delicious. I highly recommend their signature dish, the boeuf bourguiginon. Added bonus, the actual Chef in the Hat stopped in the night we were there and made rounds at the tables. He was so nice and thanked us for dining at his establishment.
Always fantastic! Thank you to the chef for saying hello to my son on his birthday.
great specialty cocktails and the bar tender is one of this cities best!
Family brunch was fantastic at Luc. Everything we had always great but we especially loved the smoke black code and spinach omelet (instead of smoked salmon as they didn’t have salmon).
Luc is always great; great food, great ambiance, great service.
This is our favorite restaurant. Always a great experience.
Luc is great! My daughter and I had brunch there on a Saturday. The decor is quaint and comfortable. The food is priced very well and the portions are big. Both of us took food home. Parking isn’t too bad. Definitely better than downtown. I’ll definitely go back for dinner soon.
Great food! Great service! A special place!
The Food was far better than the menu suggested. Restaurant is way too noisy. wine s are obscure and very expensive for modest quality.
Luc has been a long standing favorite of ours. Now, with some new menu items, it is even better!
Luc is our go-to restaurant for any celebration. The food is sublime and the service never disappoints. Your wait staff is exceptional and always willing to accommodate special requests. Luc is not in our neighborhood but well worth the drive in from West Seattle and Bellevue. After 10 years it is still in our top 3 places to enjoy an evening out with friends and family in Seattle.
The trout amandine was magic!!
Server was fantastic and food was excellent! Highly recommend Luc.
Always excellent food and service
Excellent food, service and ambience. Fantastic wine list and bartenders.
No I won’t
