Had a warm greeting even though our party had diminished from 5 to 2 and we were half an hour early! 🤣. Beautiful surroundings tucked away in Tarbert. We didn’t know it existed. Good menu with different choices to the norm. I had the Raclette and my friend had the Tartiflette. Both delicious and warming. Tobrelone cheesecakes and lattes to follow did not disappoint! The toilets were also stylish( important in my book). Loved the individual hand towels which gave a luxurious feel. Like you’re being looked after. If you’re looking for lunch with a difference this is the place!

Food was absolutely beautiful, good value for the quality, the food was just superb, the only thing that let it down was at the end of the meal the bill was put down, no coffees being offered, lights were switched off and felt like we were being kicked out. Which after spending £130 on a meal was a bit rude! But beautiful food!

Hey Adrian, thank you for taking the time out to reviews us and I apologise if I came across as rude.... Our kitchen lights always get turned off when the washing up and cleaning has been done, it adds to the atmosphere.... In my defence guv, we had just come to the end of the Summer season and were exhausted, so whilst we are more than happy for everyone to sit as long as they want too it tipped me over the edge when another person came in just to have a chat!!! I really didn't mean to be rude, was just super aware that I couldn't stand for another minute before turning in, ahead of another 16 hour day! BUT in saying that thank you so much for your lovely review and we look forward to seeing you again soon....

Really enjoyed the experience but sorry that we weren't allowed to stay longer to listen to the live music....the grandads were excellent. Very good food and attentive service.

We had a lovely meal at Lullabelles, first time here. Service really nice. I had the vegan smorgasar, so tasty, with smoked tofu, beetrot, rye bread, whipped avocado and tofu, peashoots. Partner had fish & chips, also really good. Wish we could eat there again but they are closed now for rest of our hols, such a shame!

We really enjoyed our lunch. Unfortunately one of our party has poor hearing and uses hearing aids. He finds background “noise” from music and other guests difficult. We all felt the lighting was too dark. Will love to come back another time.

Hi Gavin, at night time we are known for and just do Street Food.... We decided this year to add a couple more options in addition to the Street Food Platter. This was and remains our concept, it's on our website, we're not a three course kind of restaurant, and it's on our Social Medias....As I am sure you could see we have a very small kitchen and a very small team so we need to work with our capabilities.... The food and service has always been very good at Lulabelles. Sadly we were the only table in for quite a while so the atmosphere was a bit lacking. Maybe some local advertising would help as you need to know the restaurant is there. We really enjoyed the Japanese fare and the cocktail themed desserts were delicious - Mojito our favourite!

Lovely tapas & cocktails - small portions & pricey but do appreciate the quality. More for a special occasion than a regular. Would help if finger bowls /containers for seafood shells were on the table & some extra napkins.

We do normally put bowls out for shells so not sure what happened there... And we had been unexpectedly busy so the Napkins were in short supply... fully stocked again now though ;-)

We were greeted with a list of dishes that were not available and there was only one type of white wine left and the fryers were broken. We ordered 5 tapas type dishes from what was available and 2 glasses of the only remaining wine. The Japanese seafood salad was a prawn cocktail. The smoked duck wrap consisted of chunks of duck breast in a thickened sauce which had no taste of hoisin sauce. The Cantonese style langoustines were over cooked and the broth consisted of the same thickened sauce. We asked for claw crackers but the waitress did not know what they were. Someone came from the kitchen and suggested they could take them back there and crack them or ‘ just use your fingers’. Unless you are a bionic man with a steel fist, this is pretty impossible. The potted squat lobster consisted of the fisherman’s by-catch chopped up and put in a jar of something that was supposed to be butter. A bit unappetising. Considering the boast about using Scottish produce it was strange that they served sparkling water from Austria! Overall dissapointing.

We are sorry that the girls didn't realise what Claw Crackers were.They were pretty HUGE langos, we've not had to use them before; you'll be delighted to know we have them available for all future guests.... Every single thing we use is locally sourced and locally (apart from the water!) produced and to our version of Street Food recipe, not always to everyones taste!, On Sunday we are unable to get fresh supplies in and we don't use a freezer... Apologies it was not to your taste...

Hi Tom, we're sorry you didn't enjoy your experience at Lulabelles... We have always just done the one Street Food Menu at night, that's our concept.... When we aren't too busy we are able to offer you the lunch menu but occasionally we do run out of our fresh produce..... I am always happy to cater for Vegetarian/Vegan if it's brought to my attention however we had just had a power cut that rendered some of our cooking equipment unavailable - this led us to not be able to provide our full menu.

Despite good reviews we didn’t find that they matched our experience of the bistro. Very expensive and small portions. My partner’s venison was just like cold pastrami - not like venison at all. My squat lobsters were drowned in warm “butter” and I couldn’t taste them. Very poor value indeed. The bistro itself was lovely and staff very helpful. We wouldn’t return I’m afraid.

We're sorry you didn't enjoy your time with us... The smoked venison has always been a hit with our customers and that's how it comes.... The Potted Squat Lobsters are prepared just like Potted Shrimps - drowned in Butter, I'm sorry it wasn't to your taste. Our Tapas dishes are designed to be small tasting plates and are prices are in accordance with all the costs associated with producing local/artisan foods... Please always bring any problems to attention at the time, they can be rectified..
