The service started great but took a quick turn about midway through the time there. I drank a mimosa to start and we had a delicious appetizer. When my drink was gone I was asked if I wanted another and in reply I asked for a beer that was on the menu. The lady serving us repeated it back to me and said no problem she would have it right out. It was decently busy but not so much to where it seemed she was in the weeds. So that being said I never got my beer and then our main course was served and she brought us more silverware. Me being the person I am I didn’t remind her of my beer because as a past service I know it eventually dawns on you that you forgot it and that wasn’t the case here. She never came by and asked so much as to if I still wanted it or gave an apology. She didn’t even seem to have the courage to really come back, for it was at that time a male server asked if we were ready for the check and took our payment. Very poor service in my experience. Also for the most part the place seemed to be a favorite spot for locals and they seem to bet the ones that got all of the servers and what seemed to be management’s attention. All this being said I do not plan to return and was very upset with my first time experience. Nor will I recommend this place to anyone. Food might be good but the entire service is what makes a restaurant.
Wonderful staff and food. Perfect for a date night.
They have a nice menu with some great choices. Their burger is WONDERFUL!! My wife's favorite is their Sapphire Salad. The small plate for sharing are tasty too. The grilled cauliflower is excellent and the brussel sprouts.
Their wine by the glass is very limited- and could use some help.
The servers are pleasant and know the menu well- able to guide you to what you'd enjoy.
We'll be back!
Took our group of friends to one of our favorite restaurants- and they loved it to. Creative food, great wine and cocktails.
Great food and service.
Place was clean and people were friendly
Truffle fries were really good but too salty. Flank steak arrived undercooked, but that was remedied quickly. The flank steak was severely over salted. I would have sent it back had I not already done so.
Food was wonderful and the service was excellent!
The only area that appealed to us was to sit at the bar. Retro vibe. Loved the food, wine and excellent service. We will return!
A reliably great place for interesting and delicious small plates, wine and desserts. A neighborhood favorite.
Our waitress was fabulous! Patient..understanding...shared menu suggestions. Great night with great friends!
We have found a new place to become regulars. We had dinner at the Pritchard New Year’s Eve and went back the following Sunday to try brunch. All I will say is, in short, we loved it and plan to keep going back. Good stuff!
We were in on New Year’s Eve for dinner. Everything about our experience was good. However, my husband ordered the skirt steak entree and the scallops came to the table because it was so loud and echoey in the restaurant that our server simply didn’t hear him correctly. They made it right, no problem. Once our third course came out, the restaurant was beginning to empty and we could hear each other again. We are looking forward to going back to try other dishes and/or brunch become we really liked the food. I will say, it’s incredibly loud in the restaurant when it’s full,
Unique menu selections. Most in party had the bistro burger. I had the fried chicken thighs. Everything was tasty. Good drink menu. Overall a good experience.
Our waiter was great very attentive to our needs, food was the best overall love this place.
The staff was very kind. A cute, casual place to grab a drink and catch up with friends!! Would highly recommend!!
My boyfriend and I have been to the Pritchard about ten times and have had great experiences every time. First, the food is fantastic. My boyfriend always orders the Pritchard's hamburger, saying it's the best he's ever had because it doesn't try too hard, but is simply high-quality in flavor. I always get something new and have tried the bacon-wrapped dates, their rotating cheese boards, roasted sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts, and watermelon radishes; it's all good. Second, the ambiance cannot be beat; the atmosphere feels intimate even when crowded and is beautifully decorated. Third, the service is wonderful; the staff is attentive without being overbearing and very knowledgable about the menu. Give it a try-you will be very glad you did.
We've been fans and devotees for many years even though we do not live in OKC. We travel here often for business.
We were last here in Feb 2019 and were looking forward to enjoying The Pritchard during this lengthy stay over the holidays.
Even though they have refurbished and changed the menu, sadly they did away with everything we enjoyed about The Pritchard--their signature Gin & Tonic, brunch grits, and even though we booked early they were out of their signature brunch crispy Brussel sprouts!
We had what they considered their "best craft cocktails" but compared to what they used to offer, we were not impressed.
There was not even a remote effort or suggestion by the staff to help. In fact, we overheard the bartender being quite surly because we had the nerve to ask the server if the bartender would try to do something similar to their signature Gin & Tonic.
Sorry. We will miss The Pritchard. We won't return.
The food was excellent. The service was great. The prices were very reasonable. This place is a hidden gem in the OKC food scene.
Enjoyed a good dinner here with friends. Their Bistro Burger is one of the best burgers in OKC. My wife always enjoys the Sapphire salad. Our server, Jake did a very nice job.
The wine by the glass selection is one of their few deficits- there's not much to choose from. I understand they push bottle sales and not everyone at our table wanted the same wine... oh well. That will not keep us from returning!
Frankly, it was disappointing. The flavor on my shirt rub pasta was good; the pasta was lightly sauced and meat was tender, but the dish was lukewarm. The gruyere fondue was poor. We occasionally make a gruyere fondue at home and the dish we were served was completely different. It more closely resembled gravy you would make out of bacon fat. A handful of gruyere *may* have been added to this bacon gravy, but it was far from the dominant flavor. The chimichurri sauce on my wife’s skirt steak wasn’t as bright as that sauce should be. Service was slow, but it was a Friday night.
Pre-show dinner with close friends
The food was delicious, and the wine pairings were nice. Special thanks to Gavin our server.
Perfect food, service and just a super dining experience.
First time there.... small, charming venue. Food was very good. Pricing competitive and a great wine selection.
Creative menu ALL THE TIME and great wine list.
Attentive service, interesting menu and pleasant surroundings. This was a business dinner, but this restaurant is a great choice for a dinner date.
The best thing about our night was our service was exceptional. Our table of 6 literally ordered 9 things off the menu to try and we were only slightly disappointed in one appetizer. I would highly recommend.
The Pritchard has become my favorite little restaurant in Oklahoma City. The food is also on point and the drinks are impeccable. The service is outstanding and Jake and Stephen are my favorite bartenders in OKC. I highly recommend The Pritchard to anyone looking for a craft cocktail, small as well as large plates, and a friendly warm environment.
Steak was stringy, tough and not very tasty. Pasta was very, very salty. Of the 50 places we have visited in the last two years on Date Night I would say this was our least favorite place.
Brunch at the Pritchard is delightful. Love the bottle service and juice samplers. The flank steak with scrambled eggs and chimichurri is superb. Biscuits too! Love it!!!
It was my first time there! Thoroughly enjoyed. Sam was a very attentive waiter. Will be back!!
This was our first visit. We chose it based upon the menu and its proximity to the Plaza Theatre, where we attended a show. The service was superb, and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be back and recommend it to our friends.
Excellant cocktail from bartender Jake. Huge hamburger was good. Pleasant visit. Noise level was bad and I had trouble hearing my dining companion, but I will return. Very good place to have dinner before the theater which is nearby.
Short staffed and so service was slow. Very spicy cauliflower with scallops - not expected based upon menu description
Excellent! Love this place!
The food was wonderful. Our server was very attentive and nice.
My daughter goes to OKCU, so I do not get up to OKC very often, but when I do I prefer to dine at The Pritchard. It's my kind of place.
Relaxed and upscale casual atmosphere with a friendly staff who are very helpful. Great cocktails and wine list with excellent suggestions that won't break the budget. The food is delicious and severed tapas style so I can browse from one flavor to the next, until I am very satisfied.
Wait ! Now I remember why I do not write these reviews very often - this might turn it into a place like Yogie Berra said "nobody goes there anymore it's to crowded".
I think the crowd there is just right !
