Good food and drinks! Great views but noise level is high.
Had Ahi tacos and the fried chicken /waffles...authentic maple syrup please.
Top quality ingredients that are not served by layers and layers of sauces. Stick to simply prepared bar food - fish and chips, appetizers. Entrees get cooked well, then coated in a layer of unnecessary something. I want to love these folks. They have to trust themselves.
Food and service was good. Pot pie and Steelhead vert delicious. Husband loved the potato and leek soup
Just how many ways are there to say awful?
Both our meals were positively terrible.
The avocado tacos should be removed from the menu immediately.
The house made chips tasted like fish and chips grease.
Needless to say our last venture into Lu Lu's
We were glad we made a reservation because it was very crowded. Perhaps that is why the waitress service was too slow this time, especially on coffee refills,
Get the chicken and waffles! 👌👌
It’s $19.99, but worth a try. The waffle was cooked to perfection. The vanilla syrup, friend chicken, and cinnamon waffle make a great combination. If anything I would say that they should offer an option to make the chicken spicy. Not a complaint though.
My wife and I went to LuLu's for a Friday night dinner date. We had a 6:00 p.m. reservation and as soon as we arrived we were seated. Our server was very attentive and the food was great. The place was very busy but everyone seemed to be having a nice time in a very relaxing environment. We are looking forward to our next visit !!!
All of the above.
Also asked for a window seat when we got there was told they couldn't move us. The window table sat open for at least 45 minutes. Then nother couple came and got a table and we saw them ask for a window seat and they gave them the window seat we had asked for. The whole experience was very disappointing. The waiter made it sound great but the food was mediocre with an exhorbitant price for what we received. The tartar sauce and other sauces all seemed to be mayo with a tad of lemon juice. Just disappointing all around. We rarely get out and this was not worth getting off the couch. Sorry.
LuLu’s has excellent food and very good drinks. But you’re going to pay a pretty hefty price for those food and drinks, so beware.
We like the location and the physical space of Lu Lu Craft Bar. All of us are repeat customers some coming from out of town and some are locals. Tonight was not a good night at Lu Lu. Absolutely nothing we ordered was as good as memory serves. And, not as good as it should be. For starters we had the host present a full restaurant with no possibility for a table despite having reservations for a smaller number than our group turned out to be. We secured for ourselves seating in the bar and watched several dining room tables remain empty all night long. Off setting the rudeness of the host was an affable, good waiter named Josh G. His timing, flexibility and genuine sincerity saved the evening set so wrong by that host. Perhaps it is our fault for ordering calamari so far from the coast, but it was just terrible! Soggy, flavorless, and mixed up with a bunch of other soggy, fried foods (maybe onions?) The prime rib ordered medium rare was not. It, too, lacked any real meat flavor. We like our green beans al dente and do not expect them to be raw when served as a side dish. Some of the other items fared better - a huge, tasty entree salad, e.g. We had some delicious wine. One bottle from Kiona Cellars recommended by Josh G. that we especially enjoyed. That first impression never leaves you and this one does not make me willing to take another chance. There are other similar places nearby with better attitude.
My wife and I really enjoyed our meal and the dessert was amazing.
We had heard that LuLu's used home grown produce and meat and that was appealing to us. We were impressed with the overall look of the place and view out into the marina. We had an excellent waiter that explained all of the menu items and answered questions eagerly. The food was also excellent and very well presented. The prime rib was the best I have eaten in a long time. We also enjoyed the sticky cherry cake. Best Birthday dinner ever.
Enjoyed dinner. Will be back!
The Crab Hash should be renamed "cubed potato plate". There were so many cubed breakfast potatoes with little taste and even less crab. Wow, very disappointing.
I like this restaurant, it is my favorite in the Tri-cities. Good atmosphere, service, and food selection. Would have like our food experience to be better than mediocre. Just not up to the standards we have come to expect. I'll be back though because I enjoy this place.
Our bookclub chose LuLus for our December meeting, which is always extra special. All 6 of us loved our entrees as well as the Pig Candy appetizer and chips with dips. We also tried 3 different desserts and they were amazing. I can't wait to go back.
Lulu is great, never disappoints!
The drinks are good and the setting is the best in Tri-Cities. But the food and service is average.
Food was very good! I could make a meal off the pig candy alone! Server was polite, courteous, and knowledgable of the menu. It was very busy that evening. Our server was hustling hard so we were very patient. Surprisingly loud for a Tuesday. We were there to discuss business. May not have been the greatest of choices for a business dinner.
Great food, all 5 of us enjoyed our meal! Relaxed but nice atmosphere. We enjoy the farm to table concept. Fresh tasting and flavorful. Only complaint is the noise level...we were near the kitchen, but it was one of the few tables that could seat more than 4 it appeared.
Definitely will come again.
We thought it was so good we went back for brunch the next day!’
Blake our waiter was awesome! He was able to provide great service with the place being super busy.
What a great place to just go and eat! My husband and I just went for brunch...to celebrate my finishing school and passing my certification exam, I thought of LULU first because it's beautiful and you can dine outside under a covered area and watch boats, people, ducks/geese, it's just a great spot!! Their inside dining is very pretty and comfortable and their outside is perfect for midday casual or a romantic evening dinner. The servers are SUPER friendly and attentive. I never tip more than $5 but I did tip this kid $10 because he deserved it:) LOVE LULU!
Service was above/beyond of what was required/expected. All staff professional/friendly. Would definitely return. Food was quite good.
Awesome food at very competitive prices. A great value. And the setting is magnificent on the Columbia River
Definitely loved this place! The food and the view were amazing! :)
As always, really good food, service was good and we felt the price we paid was a fairly good value for the money. Not recommended for a quiet, romantic spot to dine, but if you and your family want some good food at a fairly reasonable price, I would strongly suggest LU LU's.
This restaurant was located within walking distance to our hotel. This was a plus as we didn't have to go looking for a restaurant. The view was half of the experience. It is a pleasure to look out on the Columbia River and the wildlife that exists there as you eat. The food was very good. The cost was reasonable considering the location. The service seemed to depend on which wait staff you have. We ate there 3 nights in a row and the service went from very good to so-so.
Lulu's does a great job with their local food menu and service. One of our favorites
Fantastic place. Love it. Lots of good options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Drinks are fabulous.
Food was excellent and was a nice alternative to Anthony's with a lower price point and more options. The booth seats were pretty uncomfortable but we had a great time.
Window table was nice, good selection of vegetarian and fish dishes, server was good about tasting different wines and beers, I thought it would be noisy, but we could hear the four of us well.
Great food with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is strange...not sure what I expected but the lumberjack shirts didn't seem to gel with the somewhat industrial decor. The place seems to have an identity issue, but the food is delicious and the prices are reasonable.
From the restaurant ads, I was under the impression the menu would include several healthy choices. The dinner entree selection limited: only one fish choice- Fish and Chips, and one chicken choice- again deep fried. Most of the entrees were steak or pork options. Wine selection was very limited. Appetizers loaded with spices. The zucchini appetizer- ok. The potato leak soup very spicy. The Caesar salad-the lettuce had Kale consistency and dressing very bland. The ambiance and setting appealing, but noisy when restaurant fills up. Prices standard for Tricities. I would not recommend the restaurant for dinner. There are several sandwich choices- good for a lunch date.
My Sister and her husband go out with us every year for our anniversary's. 40 for them this year and 41 for us. We always try to fine some place nice. We were not disappointed. Once a year it had better be good., it was.
The staff is so cheerful and nice. We asked to sit outside after being seated first inside and they were more than willing to set up a table for us outside even though they had two big parties going on at the time. All of the staff was helpful and accommodating.
Love this place! I am a BIG fan of casual dining on the Columbia River's edge and Lu Lu's has a unique atmosphere and fresh, creative food. However, I wish they would offer a less expensive glass of wine. Its hard to pay nearly as much for your wine as your dinner, especially in the heart of Washington Wine Country!
Great location by the river. Used Open Table so getting in was not a problem.
Poor service. Slow, forgot salad, forgot dessert, wobbly table, didn't ask for drink refills. Food was good.
