My reservation requests were met as well as possible - window table, quiet corner, but because of the noise level and our hearing abilities as Seniors, we probably will not return, unless it can be on the Patio on a high quality weather evening. Enjoyed the first time experience otherwise.
The fish and chips were not good, the Cole slaw was just weird, and the tomato soup was odd. There were 3 of us and no one enjoyed the food. The space itself is open and loud with no dress code so you’ll see lots of interesting attire. The location overlooks a boat ramp; what more can I say?
We were told that the price was high but worth it. We found it not to high and well worth it.
Once again they exceeded our expectations. Josh, our server was fantastic and the food was great!
Absolutely loved this place! The menu offers such a variety, everything we ate was amazing. The calamari and pig candy and German chocolate sundae were outstanding!
A very pleasant and delicious lunch.
Food was outstanding - crab hash, waffle and chicken biscuit sandwich all great. The waffle really needs to come with the choice of a meat for the price though and the service was slow getting to food to us and snippy when asked why other tables with more guest that sat and ordered 10+ minutes after us had gotten their food already.
Great ambiance and food though so it luckily balances itself.
One of the nicer places to dine in Tri Cities. A bit noisy during crowded times. Interesting menu of cocktails to explore. The cucumber basel gimlet was a delight.
Always good food and service! Love going! Wish it was more wallet friendly I’d go more often, water and a burger $20! Whew!
First of all I have to say the bar service is appalling! This is the second time we have visited and sat around the bar and after getting one drink you are completely ignored - no one comes and asks if you want another drink (the staff concentrate on the new people coming in and ignore the ones already there even if they are right at the side of the new people with empty glasses!). This issue really lets the place down and the staff obviouly need some serious improvements.
Once we left the bar area (we had arrived early for a reservation) we went into the main dining area. Our server was polite and very effient. We received our food in a timely manner and was checked up on regularly without it being too much). I ordered the Fish & Chips which was excellent and my wife ordered the Steelhead which again was excellent.
We enjoyed the location and food so we will not "give up" on this place just yet. They just need to fix the bar staff and it would be great.
Food was very good and quick. Service was OK but didn’t get refills on water or any drinks. The waiter never came back until we were ready to leave.
EXcellent waiter, some foods have msg so I was limited in what I could order.
Our server was fantastic, she was very pleasant and helpful please tell her thank you for the group. :-)
Tried Lu Lu's when visiting Richland. Fun menu, lots of food, friendly staff, great location with lots of parking. Can get busy as it is on the waterfront. Dogs can dine outdoors with their people. Fun location great food.
Reunion lunch was wonderful. Our server, Leah, did a fantastic job, food was great, and we were able to catch up.
My son went here for Prom and wanted to go back for his graduation dinner! The best Prime Rib and Chicken & Waffles.
We made a reservation at 10 a.m. but didn't get seated until 10:15. The server was brand new and didn't know the menu very well, however, she did everything possible to make us feel comfortable. The coffee was terrible (bitter) and they don't serve lattes or any other coffee alternatives. I ordered a crab hash which had very little crab but lots of potatoes. The poached eggs were undercooked. It would be better to have hash browns or tater tots as an alternative to home fried potatoes.
Ten bucks for a bowl of limp greasy potato chips with boring quacamole and two other dips. Avocado tacos were nearly tasteless. Ribs were good. Great view. Good looking restaurant.
Had the avocado tacos tonight and was really disappointed. Great service, cute ambiance but won’t go back due to the meal and prices.
The service was awesome; we were seated quickly, the waitress was very attentive and friendly, and we got exactly what we ordered in a reasonable amount of time for a late Saturday morning. The main issue we had was with the food... I ordered the biscuits and gravy, and my wife got the eggs Benedict. My fried eggs were almost dripping with grease, and whatever oil they use gave the eggs an odd aftertaste. I didn’t look closely at the biscuits and gravy description, but I believe that it was based on a southern recipe (maybe tomato gravy?) that wasn’t quite what I was looking for. The biscuits were great, but the sauce also had an odd aftertaste. The bacon was good. The sauce on my wife’s eggs Benedict was great, and the dish was overall the best part of the meal. The potatoes that came with her meal were lukewarm and had a texture that made them seem leftover or reheated.
The bill was about $35 before tip, which seemed fair for the view and atmosphere, but the food was outshined by other establishments for much cheaper. I’d definitely come back again to try something else on the menu, but it would have to be pretty good to make this a regular spot.
We made a reservation and arrived on time - 9:30am. To our dismay, the door was locked. But people inside. I had to walk around back to the patio and wave to a server and get them to unlock the door. Then we had a ten minute wait to be seated (with reservations), then ten minutes for water and another ten minutes to ask if we wanted drinks....so a 9:30 reservation got us to order drinks at 10am.
Order breakfast..my daughters bacon and pancakes - pancakes great, bacon burnt to a crisp. My breakfast was eggs and bacon and "biscuit." Biscuit was cold, stale and size of a silver dollar. My bacon was undercooked and fatty. Gross to eat undercooked fatty bacon.
They have had similar service issues and this is a problem again. I'm going to bonefish instead next time.
The food was very delicious, and the service was kind and quick also.
Everything was good, nothing was over the top. Weird red lights, decor, & wood paneled bathroom. Nice outdoor view. More menu options would be nice. I do plan to go back.
Have not had a bad meal yet.
You must try the Irish Death.
Good food and drinks! Great views but noise level is high.
Had Ahi tacos and the fried chicken /waffles...authentic maple syrup please.
Top quality ingredients that are not served by layers and layers of sauces. Stick to simply prepared bar food - fish and chips, appetizers. Entrees get cooked well, then coated in a layer of unnecessary something. I want to love these folks. They have to trust themselves.
Food and service was good. Pot pie and Steelhead vert delicious. Husband loved the potato and leek soup
Just how many ways are there to say awful?
Both our meals were positively terrible.
The avocado tacos should be removed from the menu immediately.
The house made chips tasted like fish and chips grease.
Needless to say our last venture into Lu Lu's
We were glad we made a reservation because it was very crowded. Perhaps that is why the waitress service was too slow this time, especially on coffee refills,
Get the chicken and waffles! 👌👌
It’s $19.99, but worth a try. The waffle was cooked to perfection. The vanilla syrup, friend chicken, and cinnamon waffle make a great combination. If anything I would say that they should offer an option to make the chicken spicy. Not a complaint though.
My wife and I went to LuLu's for a Friday night dinner date. We had a 6:00 p.m. reservation and as soon as we arrived we were seated. Our server was very attentive and the food was great. The place was very busy but everyone seemed to be having a nice time in a very relaxing environment. We are looking forward to our next visit !!!
All of the above.
Also asked for a window seat when we got there was told they couldn't move us. The window table sat open for at least 45 minutes. Then nother couple came and got a table and we saw them ask for a window seat and they gave them the window seat we had asked for. The whole experience was very disappointing. The waiter made it sound great but the food was mediocre with an exhorbitant price for what we received. The tartar sauce and other sauces all seemed to be mayo with a tad of lemon juice. Just disappointing all around. We rarely get out and this was not worth getting off the couch. Sorry.
LuLu’s has excellent food and very good drinks. But you’re going to pay a pretty hefty price for those food and drinks, so beware.
We like the location and the physical space of Lu Lu Craft Bar. All of us are repeat customers some coming from out of town and some are locals. Tonight was not a good night at Lu Lu. Absolutely nothing we ordered was as good as memory serves. And, not as good as it should be. For starters we had the host present a full restaurant with no possibility for a table despite having reservations for a smaller number than our group turned out to be. We secured for ourselves seating in the bar and watched several dining room tables remain empty all night long. Off setting the rudeness of the host was an affable, good waiter named Josh G. His timing, flexibility and genuine sincerity saved the evening set so wrong by that host. Perhaps it is our fault for ordering calamari so far from the coast, but it was just terrible! Soggy, flavorless, and mixed up with a bunch of other soggy, fried foods (maybe onions?) The prime rib ordered medium rare was not. It, too, lacked any real meat flavor. We like our green beans al dente and do not expect them to be raw when served as a side dish. Some of the other items fared better - a huge, tasty entree salad, e.g. We had some delicious wine. One bottle from Kiona Cellars recommended by Josh G. that we especially enjoyed. That first impression never leaves you and this one does not make me willing to take another chance. There are other similar places nearby with better attitude.
My wife and I really enjoyed our meal and the dessert was amazing.
We had heard that LuLu's used home grown produce and meat and that was appealing to us. We were impressed with the overall look of the place and view out into the marina. We had an excellent waiter that explained all of the menu items and answered questions eagerly. The food was also excellent and very well presented. The prime rib was the best I have eaten in a long time. We also enjoyed the sticky cherry cake. Best Birthday dinner ever.
Enjoyed dinner. Will be back!
The Crab Hash should be renamed "cubed potato plate". There were so many cubed breakfast potatoes with little taste and even less crab. Wow, very disappointing.
I like this restaurant, it is my favorite in the Tri-cities. Good atmosphere, service, and food selection. Would have like our food experience to be better than mediocre. Just not up to the standards we have come to expect. I'll be back though because I enjoy this place.
