“There is no signage for LSXO—you can spot the entrance of it tucked into a section inside Bluegold, but you’ll have to know it’s there. While Bluegold is light, bright, and airy, LSXO is its darker, edgier little sister, ” says Vuong. “Both restaurants operate out of the same kitchen, though the menus are completely different. LSXO offers straight-up, honest, home-style Vietnamese cuisine—the type of food I grew up eating with my grandparents in the San Gabriel Valley.”

Cool room with beautiful ocean view and delicious food, the Eggplant and Crepe are my favorites.
I would definitely go back. good flavors. more items on menu i would like to try
Awesome exclusive dining experience. only 5 tables available. Great ocean views and a unique Asian fusion menu. The lobster is outstanding with the added benefit of lobster fried rice when your done picking through the lobster itself. Tough to get in but if you find yourself able to grab a reservation highly recommend giving LSXO a shot!
This was just a strange dining experience. It’s got a high end look and feel with low end service and mediocre food. We sat for close to an hour with no food on the table after ordering. No one checked on us or updated us. We ordered five dishes (they are family style) and left hungry. The bill with drinks was almost 400$. Ive had meals that I thought were worth 400$. Not this one.
We had the best tasting soup, bread, pate and drinks! Loved it!
Love! Been wanting to come here for quite some time & it did not disappoint. Can’t wait to return!!
The food is flavorful and deep. Super ambiance for a work, casual or date. Love love love this place. Server was spectacular
Very exclusive feel, like going to a secret dinner club. Always great service and food it amazing!
Amazing flavors, impeccable service, delicious cocktails!!
Hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend. Excellent experience from start to finish. Amazing service, polite staff and sexy ambiance.
This is the best high end special place restaurant in Huntington Beach. Nothing else compares. The background music puts it over the top . The wine list is exceptional. And the food is divine. I especially liked the beef tartare.
Great food and filling portions. I thought that the staff were very accommodating and helped me celebrate my birthday! I will definitely be going back.
Everything was perfect with our first dining experience. A very relaxing space and great for conversations with dining partners. Food exotic and very flavorful. Our server was incredibly patient with all our questions about the food. Her recommendations were spot on.
Feels super special because there are very few tables available, six maybe. The food is the star of the show, perfectly prepared and layered with taste. Service was great as well.
It was a wonderful experience and I hope to go back some day. The service and food were outstanding. You were too expensive and that was unnecessary. If you were not so expensive I can see your restaurant becoming one or our favorite regulars. But because of the cost, I would save it for a special occasion only. I will recommend to others with a warning about the cost
Great place. Wonderful drinks and food. The salmon in clay pot was amazing. Can't wait to visit again.
We don't go often, just as a special date night, but it's a great place to enjoy some tasty cocktails and good food. Had a great time Friday night, thank you!
Food great, atmosphere and table service great but the reservation system is consistently awful.
There’s always a problem. This time 15 minutes after I was seated I got a (missed) call from the restaurant saying I had missed my time. When I got home there was also an email saying I had missed my reservation. We had checked in and been seated! This isn’t an isolated incident. Every time I or one of my friends go there, there’s some sort of issue due to poor organization or management of reservations.
That being said, it’s still one of my favorite places and I’ll continue to eat there. The food is stellar and the ambiance and music are fantastic. Great drinks too.
Just bring patience when you go!!
What a wonderful little secret place to find for date night with my wife while on a long weekend!!! I don’t know how this chef made those flavors work together. But it was amazing. We would definitely try to get reservations here again if we come back. So awesome!!
Server was great but a bit overextended as she had four other tables and a bar to attend to.
It’s s nice place ! Great ambiance overlooking the beach ! The food was good but not the best ! I’ve been to a lot of Vietnamese restaurant and this is not as good ! Service was quite lackadaisical , they were nice but there’s only one person serving all the tables the other are just assisting so it took awhile to get our food ! We were there 12:30 and finished around 3:45 pm ! Long lunch !!
This place will be nice for a happy hour with drinks watching the sunset !!
One member of our group had pepper allergies - to which they attended wonderfully. They were able to make all but 1 dish pepper allergy friendly, which is surprising for Vietnamese food - greatly appreciated!
The Food was spectacular as usual, even with the dietary amendments.
Unfortunately there was a new bar tender, not the usual Robert, so the drinks were a bit lacking. I usually get a Chairman, usually served in a tumbler (with large ice cube) and quite tasty (spirit heavy). However, this time it showed up in a martini glass up and port heavy, so extremely sweet. Also the Jessica Rabbit was a bit muddled - no distinct flavor, just bland - normally quite tasty with a carrot undertone. And, ... one member ordered a Mai Tai, which I figured would be hard to mess up - but again, the taste was less than tropical fruity and just bland. The Jin and Julius was another fail. All of which is unfortunate for pricey specialty cocktails. So, we all switched to wine.
First visit; very satisfied; we’ll be back!
Amazing atmosphere, and food was incredible. I loved how it was a hidden back room with a view of the water.
they gave us counter seating: we wanted a table. otherwise food was good.
We reserved at the bar as OpenTable has available bar seating for 4 , however there seems to be only room for 3. Additionally, your bar table is only a few inches taller than the barstools so your back will be shot and will need to be adjusted after 2-hour dinner (back pain). The barstools will need to be shorter with back support, or regular chairs be used. This is no way to eat at the bar, when it is offered on OpenTable. The servers told us that they have told management about this before already without anything being done yet.
They made us wait 25 minutes for our table after they called earlier in the day to make sure we would be on time. There were no meaningful apologies and the staff offered nothing to settle us down. It took an hour to get the first dish which came without the other dishes. Most were cold or lukewarm when they finally came to our table. The staff really did not know how to handle the situation and should be trained to do so. The setting was nice with a good view but we were too riled up to really appreciate it. Bluegold is much better so skip this one and go to the larger and better restaurant.
Wonderful experience. It is my now go to place for introducing my friends to an exceptional dining experience.
The flavors of every dish are unique. Great service and very intimate for that special occasion
My fiancé and I planned a night out as a date night. We have been to LSXO a few times and every time the service, food, ambiance is spot on. The menu is a foodie melody! The menu is extensive and you can easily experiment with different selections every time you are there!
We went to LSXO and had a great time celebrating my wife’s birthday. The food was exceptional and the service was first class. We had banh xeo and the Vietnamese version of paella and loved every bite. What was really nice is that they bring the dishes out as you are finishing the previous one and that made the eating experience very nice for us. Well done!
Loved absolutely everything about this place, food was amazing but service, ambience and the music was fun, welcoming and very cool. Will definitely be back soon!
Love the hip hop music! But beware of the explicit lyrics if you are with anyone sensitive to that.
Great atmosphere, food was amazing, service fantastic. Drinks were amazing. This will be my new go to place to show off. Its like stepping into an exclusive private club.
The best dining experience we have had in a very long time. Service was wonderful and the food is incredible. We will definitely be back
LSXO - Little Sister Extrordinaire
Is a smaller private dining room within Blue Gold. It has an excellent HB view of the beach, Pier & Catalina. The food is Vietnamese, the spring rolls and shaky shaky beef were very tasty! Attentive service, we will be back!
Shaky Shaky beef is a must. Dumplings are great (could use a bigger portion), same with the kabobs we ordered, would want a bigger portion for the price considering it’s a tapas style. Other than that place was great as usual
I have had the pleasure of eating at LSXO before, had a wonderful experience I wanted to return. This time I found the room not a quint as before. It was freezing inside the restaurant and I know it is a dark room, but this time I could not read the menu at all to see the selections and had to rely on the waitress. I didn't care for the selection this time.
Really cool experience unlike other spots in OC. Loved the vibe, but, with hiphop music could see how certain crowds would be annoyed.
Food was insanely good. Not currently drinking so can’t comment on beverages.
Great food and view
