   First of all when Loxley's called to confirm, they asked if we wanted to sit in the ballroom where the Thanksgiving buffet was. Of course I said yes especially since we have a 7 mo old and it would easier to be close to the food. When we got there, we weren't seated there and when I questioned that, the hostess said it was only for large parties. Then when we were leaving after we 'd already paid, we realized we 'd been charged for drinks when they were supposed to be included. When we questioned the hostess if drinks were included, she and 2 others had no idea so they got the manager who also had no idea. After I kind of made a stink about nobody knowing what was going on, the manager did give us a cash refund for our drinks.

   What I really like is their breakfast buffet. I go for breakfast myself and I love it. Everything else is wonderful too.

   We were seated next to a very loud large party. It was hard to hear each other talking. Food was good but that definitely scampered our experience

   my wife and i hadn't been out for a while so we wanted to go somewhere special. we were both disapointed with the food and the prices were a little high. The set up is really neat and there is a lot of potential, but just not memorable.

   Decide to give this highly recommended local spot a try. The food is good, but some of the menu items are overpriced. It's a fun spot for a girls night out or other group occasion, but I believe there are other local spots with food just as good and more reasonably priced. For instance, their signature tomato florentine au gratin soup was a thin consistency in a small crock for $6. Not overly impressed with that. Appetizers were good, entrees not very large.....drinks are average prices. Guess I was expecting to be more "wowed."

   We have been to this restaurant on several occasions and each time we leave saying " next time let's just go to the bar and eat somewhere else" this last visit was much of the same. We came for dinner due to celebrating a friend's birthday. My husband had the Chicken Pot Pie special, it was anything but a pie and at $16 it was way over priced. He could have gotten the same bread bowl type of chicken noodle soup at Panera and it would have tasted better and been half the price. I had a flat bread pizza which tasted very much like a Pilsbury pizza dough pizza I could have made at home. The bar outside is great when the weather is nice but other than that not much to offer.

   How many times can you dine under the stars in a treehouse. Great atmosphere and equally great food. A little out of the way, but worth the trip.

    If you are looking for good food avoid this restaurant. It is a disaster. If you simply want to party this may work for you.
