Great place! Treated us very well and food was amazing!
This was our 4th time dining at Low Country. We have had a great dining experience each time. The Sea Bass was amazing.
Great restaurant … but overpriced and food was not consistent. Incredibly loud. Enjoyed it but won’t go back.
Good place for small gathering of friends.
Excellent customer service and friendly staff..planning to go back soon
Great service and food!
Upon entry I was asked to remove my hat. I didn’t see anywhere on the website that spoke about a dress code for dinning in. Its honestly pointless because the staff in the back wore hats. So why have us paying customers remove ours? They don’t even have the decency to have a hat rack so my $90 hat sat on the back of my chair the while night.
We ordered two appetizers; crab claws (were really good, we both liked them) crab cakes (lacked flavor, tasted mostly pan if that makes sense. Had good chunks of crab meat though)
My wife enjoyed the scallops. Not over cooked and loaded with flavor but for $40 we expected some bigger scallops. They were on the small side. I had the bone in ribeye. It was cooked very well and a nice cut of meat.
The sides were below average. We had the lobster mac n cheese ($22) mashed potatoes which to us seem like they were out of a box or a mix between boxed or whipped. Either way they weren’t home style mashed potatoes. We also had the broccoli which at first looked bland and unseasoned but it had some butter cream sauce it was tossed in.. they were ok.
The cornbread.. wasn’t that great. I was expecting a rich fluffy cornbread and it just didn’t do it. Maybe it was they honey glaze that made it mushy in the center. I had two cocktails; Old Fashioned and a Manhattan both with woodford reserve that were made very well. We ordered the peach cobbler for dessert and it was bland. No flavor from the very little thin crust that was on the top. Very luke warm in temperature so the ice cream didn’t even melt when we cracked the dome shaped crust. Didn’t enjoy that at all. We are both from the south so everyone knows that peach cobbler crust IS A MUST. It lacked so much. The tables were so small dinning for 2. At one point we had 6 plates on our table, the huge bottle of water, 2 glasses and my drink. Overall I give my experience a 2.5/5. I honestly don’t have to go back. Our serve Julia was a delight, though. Very attentive, nice and understanding.
Everything was delicious! I got the ribeye with the in-house steak sauce! AMAZING!!! They need to sell their steak sauce it’s THAT GOOD!
Wonderful service and dinner. Will definitely be back.
The host/waiter was GREAT! The ambiance was VERY GOOD! There were two lobster rolls on the entree. Though there was plenty of lobster, there was an added ingredient that negatively affected the taste. The two crab cakes on the crab cake entree were a little overcooked and contained too much filler. However, we saw another customer's plate with a double burger that looked delicious. We will return to try that...
Exceeded expectations we are huge fans of G Gavin. We plan to attend frequently
I booked a reservation at 8:45 pm and was excited to bring my husband for his birthday. I'd been to the restaurant a few months ago with girlfriends and enjoyed it. Upon arrival (15 minutes early), we were informed that our wait would be about 15-20 minutes BEYOND our reservation time. I also asked the hostess for the validation code for parking. She advised me that it would be provided as we leave. We were finally seated at 9:20. I wanted to leave but didn't want to ruin my husband's birthday. The server didn't arrival to our table until 9:30 and didn't even apologize for the wait. As we attempted to order, several items we'd requested were unavailable, causing us to basically revise our order 3 times. It took literally 20 minutes to receive our food...and we had to ASK for it after noticing that 2 couples who were seated AFTER us receive their food BEFORE we did. It's important to note that one the tables was being served by the same waitress as us. After receiving our food, we had to remind the server constantly of simple requests such as, to bring plates for our shared appetizers, extra salad dressing - which I had to request twice, and to please bring our drinks after 2 reminders. The silver lining was that the food was well prepared, but the wait time and service really put a damper on the entire experience. To add insult to injury, as we prepared to leave i went to the hostess to request the validation code for the $13 parking. She abruptly stated that she couldn't give it to me because the parking app has been updated and would only take the code immediately after the payment. Thus, I was stuck paying for the parking. I reminded her of her earlier guidance to speak with her as we left and she basically denied having told me what she did. Again, taking no responsibility for providing inaccurate information. Needless to say, WE WILL NEVER RETURN. Over $200 to be ignored, lied to, disregarded and dismissed will never happen again by coming back.
Enjoyable as always…..
Great food, drinks and service! The experience definitely exceeded my expectations.
Everything was absolutely superb! We will definitely be back!
Favorite restaurant of all time! I appreciate the great service and food always. Made my birthday so special, thank you again!
We loved our dining experience here. And our server, Latifah, made the experience even better! She was awesome!
I had one of the best Bone in Ribeye Steaks I've had in a long time. It was perfect!
The ambience is perfect. Food was absolutely delicious. The Server was amazing.
Great dining experience. Wonderful staff, food, and price. I highly recommend to residents and visitors.
Great food and ambiance. The steak was amazing. The Brussels fell short of my expectations.
From the host to our server, to our drinks then our food.. Everything was phenomenal.
Everything that was placed on our table was absolutely delicious!
The service was good, food was delicious. I would highly recommend LowCountry Steak for people visiting Atlanta. I want to thank G. Garvin for bringing a touch of "Class" to the city. Much success.
Food was delicious and the ambiance was very nice. I would definitely visit again.
We had our company dinner. Food wonderful- service wonderful- atmosphere wonderful! 🎶
This was a birthday dinner for 2. I didn’t see a valet but there was street parking available. We arrived about 10 minutes late because it’s Atlanta and the downtown traffic is unpredictable, but were seated right away. The hostess did acknowledge his birthday which was nice. I was very impressed that ALL the staff were wearing masks but wearing them PROPERLY. This was our first time eating indoors in quite a while so this was important to us. The deviled eggs were really good. I had the sea bass which was absolutely delicious and he had salmon which he raved was amazing. The whipped potatoes and Mac-and-cheese were awesome. Drinks were good and strong too! The service was a highlight, I wish I could remember her name. Sweet young lady with glasses, she did an amazing job. Overall I would highly recommend this place. Our only disappointment was the Chef was there but we didn’t get a chance to say hello. No big deal because we’re going back again soon.
Amazing experience! Great food quality, taste, and service! Must go often!
Great ambience and service, definitely can’t wait to go back
The food did not disappoint. Everyone was pleased and our server Latifah was amazing.
It was my first time dining at LowCountry Steak; however, it will definitely not be my last. The food and service were excellent. The atmosphere is very nice, also. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and it was a great experience. Two thumbs up!!
Amazing steak. Nice atmosphere. Service was outstanding.
Great Service. Convenient parking in the garage and the food was good.
Great service and excellent food!!!! We will definitely be back.
The food was not well seasoned and portion size left much to be desired. Our reservation was for 7pm, the restaurant closes at 9:30 and by the time we placed our order they were sold out of three menu options. The mac-n-cheese was absolutely horrid! The beef is not grass fed. The cocktails were spectacular and the only positive in the dining experience. Overall, incredibly disappointed and the cuisine certainly doesn't represent southern flair. I have an overall rating of fair to support a Black business.
Super dope vibe. Friendly staff and good food. What more can you ask for? Will be coming back here.
Friendly and attentive staff. Food was delicious, we had ribeyes bone in and boneless. The steaks were seasoned well and full of flavor. The brussel sprouts are a must have. They are fried and crispy with cheese and bacon! The green beans Al dente and in a creamy sauce, also delicious! Truffle fries and lobster mac and cheese, dare I say it…delicious. This was a steakhouse with an at home feel; it’s the perfect place to hang out and enjoy a great meal with soulful sounds playing in the background. Wonderful experience!
We enjoyed our dining experience at LowCountry Steak! The food was terrific. Our server was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was upbeat and comfortable. We will dine there again soon!
The Caesar salad, Brussel sprouts and Steak was amazing. I also met Chef G and he was pleasantly friendly. It was a nice way to celebrate my birthday!
The food was excellent. My steak was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The crab cakes melted in your mouth and the deviled eggs were fabulous. You could give a little more Brussels sprout since they are sharable. My waitress had a bit of an attitude when we were asking questions, other than that very good food
Thank you so much for joining us! We hope to see you again in the near future.
