The service is amazing and the ambiance is very welcoming. The food was creatively plated fresh and delicious. A great restaurant to put in your date night rotation.
The porterhouse steak was not on the menue so I had to choose a different cut. The seasoning was just okay. The lobster Mac&Cheese cam in a small portion and was nothing spectacular. Also, there were no sauce au poivre (peppercorn sauce). A real let down!
Had to wait for a table and I had reservations but it was a great experience overall! I even got to take a pic with G. Garvin!!!! It was my birthday so that made it extra special!
The food and experience was amazing, I had the chicken with craned corned and it was so flavorful. My only feedback was the bartender was very dry and brief it didn’t compare to the rest of the staff welcoming attitudes
Experience was just okay. They seemed to be out of several dishes and wines.
This is very aggravating that you are making me type more words - I think my initial response was adequate - I won’t take another survey from you
Hope this is enough words now #annoyed
Steaks and seafood were wonderful. Service was great.
From the time I walk into the restaurant it was an amazing experience. I was seated in a timely manner and the waiter came over really quick and took our drink orders and appetizer orders. The main entrée was amazing the service was great the drinks were great and the food was great. And I even had an opportunity to take a picture with the owner G Garvin.
Absolutely amazing place to eat. Some of the best food I have ever had. Chef G. Garvin showed up and was nice enough to wave and say “hi” to us from the kitchen. Overall superb experience.
The restaurant had a large loud party going on, which was a bit distracting, but our “concierge of service” was fantastic. Ask for Sylvia if you go.
I really liked the location and the ambiance of this restaurant. I'm happy that G put a lot of thought into creating a nice establishment. The parking garage adjacent to the building made things easy with transitioning back and forth to our car. I did think the food was pretty good. I found the outer crust to my steak to be a little charred though & I ordered it medium. I thought the lobster Mac and cheese was missing something. The highlight to me were the crab cakes and the calamari. If I were to go back, I'd probably just order drinks and appetizers. We spent over 300 and they really didn’t do anything to celebrate my birthday. I was expecting a complementary birthday dessert or something and that was not offered. Overall good experience though.
Birthday celebration! Everyone’s food was amazing except for two guests that ordered the salmon. They stayed the salmon was under seasoned. One of them
Sent it back and said that it was much better. Overall it was a move experience.
Our server Demetrich was awesome. He explained in detail any questions we had about the food. He also provided excellent service.
We were all pleased with food. It was amazing!!!!
Celebrating my husband’s best friend and his appointment to a Judge.
Service and food was definitely 5star. Ambiance needs a little work. But will be back
The lobster mac and cheese was decadently delicious. The staff takes their jobs very seriously providing excellent customer service. I took a friend there for a special dinner and was very pleased. I will be returning.
Beautiful restaurant. Tuna tartare some of the best I’ve had. Offering a 12oz filet for lunch is a little much. I recommend a 6 or 8oz. Overall. I’ll be back
Excellent food, drinks and service. Cannot wait to return.
The service was amazing. Food was overpriced for the quality of the food. Mac and cheese was runny with no flavor.
I had high expectations because my husband and I are G Garvin fans however my experience fell short. The food was pretty good but I was taken aback when I tried to place a to go order for my husband and was told they aren’t taking to go orders?? So basically I just spent over $100 on my meal and you are saying you don’t want anymore of my money? I also tried to order my dessert to go and was told no. I thought that was strange. Overall the experience was ok but I probably won’t return.
Absolutely, amazing dining experience! Chef G. Garvin does not disappoint! We thoroughly enjoyed a delicious meal before a concert at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Even got a chance to meet Chef G. Garvin, a real gem.
Celebrating a birthday in our party!
This was a good experience overall. Nothing wowed me. Deviled egg appetizer, steak (aged ribeye), sides (onion rings and Mac and cheese) were all good not great and at $100 per diner it should be something spectacular and it just didn’t hit that bar for us. Prices are premium and just too much for some things (cocktails especially) that aren’t going to wow you. There are better experiences for the $$ in Atlanta.
Great overall experience and will dine there again!
I would recommend this place. Service and food was good.
Food was just ok…. I needed to add salt/pepper to my potatoes and sea bass. My friend had the ribeye and left 1/2 of it on the plate. It was a little dry. We are huge steak lovers and we have certainly had better. The wait, the service, the ambiance was great! We came supported and likely will not return.
TOP NOTCH My wife and I met friends at the Peachtree St location. The restaurant was noticeably clean with perfect music welcoming us.
We had drinks while awaiting our reservation time. Because the bartender didn’t have the wine of my wife’s choice, he offered to make her a custom drink. He nailed it! My wife was sooo pleased with the drink and, of course, that made me happy as well!
Once seated, the server was very knowledgeable about the menu and reviewed the specials with great expertise. She was very attentive, but not intrusive.
As far as the food is concerned… well, I’m not sure I have the words to describe the deliciousness! From the many appetizers we shared to the main courses, everything was spot on… I mean really spot on! The quality, quantity, and presentation of the food was excellent!
We will definitely tell others about our dining experience and we will return again ourselves.
At the end of the dining experience, we met the General Manager, Kel. He was gracious and kind. We chatted for a bit and learned a lot about the restaurant.
THANK YOU for helping us kick-off our vacation!! See you soon…
Awesome place. Super friendly staff, amazing food. Can’t wait to go back!
Me and my two sisters went here to celebrate a birthday and the experience was top notch from start to finish! Our server Della was awesome…he was so friendly and attentive and made our evening a fun one. The food was incredible…everyone enjoyed their entrees as well as dessert. There were no shortcomings anywhere. We will definitely be back!
One word… “AMAZING”. Took my girlfriend here for her birthday and we absolutely enjoyed every second of our dinner experience. From the fried calamari to the sea bass. One of a kind restaurant in Atlanta!
I loved the ambience of the place. The food was great and served promptly. I will definitely be returning to try some different dishes. Great place to take your significant otter. Loved it!
Very excited to visit being that my very good friend is friends with G. Garvin and we all are a group of Howard Doctors whom like to wine and dine often. Extremely disappointed and surprised with the service of the staff and management; the experience was weird and awkward from the beginning till the end. Waitress would not let me order an appetizer because it was “not in proper order” to do so with my drink order. I have been to many “fine” dining restaurants and my child’s food is always brought before the adults. This restaurant would not bring my daughters food until the appetizers were cleared from the table. Next incident was the waitress telling us there was no bread pudding so I ordered peach cobbler but later a “manager” comes over and says it’s available but I informed her that I had already ordered and she said that’s okay but of course both items were still on my bill and I kindly paid for them both because at this point, everything was becoming frustrating. And let’s not talk about taking a meal home for my hubby. ABSOLUTELY no to go orders are permitted even for guests eating at the table. I asked to plate the meal and I will bag it myself. Waitress says okay and brings the boxes over in anticipation of the food coming to the food. Manager comes over and rudely states, the chef says no to go orders and it’s his restaurant and he makes the rules so my to go order was cancelled and boxes were removed from our table. It was my birthday and such a special night but ruined by them being rigid and harsh. We still tipped the waitress and tried to exit the building as quickly as possible! The next day, I went to Capital Grille and enjoyed my Birthday and I am very thankful Capital Grille’s memorable experience erased the tragedy from the night before. Don’t waste your time! You money is valuable!
Great first time at this new restaurant in our Midtown neighborhood. Service and food was excellent! Food came out fast but not too fast.
I was disappointed. The bar and bartender (Don) was great. The table service was good but the menu is underwhelming and the food was just okay. The atmosphere was also just average. White tablecloth prices without any tablecloths.
I like G. Garvin and wanted to like this restaurant but I didn’t.
Thank you for a great birthday celebration. Dinner was incredible. Everyone in my party loved the food. We will definitely be back.
The food was delicious. The environment was very nice and quiet
Excellent experience. Satisfied. I will go again and tell my friends and family.
The sea bass was cooked to perfection and was quite delicious. My spouse had the chicken - he said it was very good.
I was disappointed when my plate did not contain the whole fish, which is what I'd expected for the price ($35). Everything here is grossly over-priced, particularly for a restaurant that has not yet established themselves (the dining room was 1/3 full at prime dinner hours). Additionally, the prices listed on their website's menu were $6-$10 less per entrée than what we were actually charged in house. I don't appreciate being misled at all.
I was most disappointed in the service, however. Our server moved my spouse's plate - while he was eating from it - to put a hot plate in front of him. The hot dish didn't arrive for another 10-15 minutes. Oh... and we were charged for water. I asked for "still water", which I understood to be synonymous with tap water when at a fine dining establishment. We were brought bottled water. $6 water.
Can't say that I'll be back. While the food was quite good, the service was clunky, the ambience was lacking, and the prices were completely misleading and inappropriate. Too bad. I really wanted to love it.
The music was on point. The ribeye and garlic shrimp app was good. Was not a big fan of the Brussel sprouts but the bacon certainly helped. I wish I had room to try the bread pudding but def next time!
