Whether it be a night out with the homies, an alcohol fueled happy hour with coworkers, dinner alone on your birthday, or just a nightcap, we’ll make sure you leave happier (or at least less sober and hungry) than when you arrived. Also we play really good music.

Second time here for Sunday Brunch. I had the Polenta last time, and Burrito this time...both were fantastic. I love the mix of folks who attend and the friendly vibe of the patrons and staff. Great drink and beer selection with big windows that let the sun shine in...super comfortable to eat, drink, catchup.

Drinks took ten minutes despite being only a few customers. Food came out at different times than my partner…. Greasy cheap food that was overpriced. Left us literally feeling sick the next day. I assume their kitchen is disgusting based on the food that came out. If this place just wants to be a dive bar, they should lower their prices

I went as part of the Oakland burger tour 2023. It cost me almost $30 for a burger and fries, after a 20% tip. The food tasted good, but not nearly good enough to justify that price tag. I’m sure some of the other menu items are priced better but that was mind boggling. I wouldn’t recommend solely on the overall cost

My friends and I enjoyed our brunch here. The only complaint I have is that I didn't realize tip was included for a party of five as they receipt had suggested percentage amounts. We ended up leaving a big tip! However, the food was delicious, and it was a nice venue.

Brunch was lacking. Polenta was more like gruel in appearance and flavor. Generic Tex Mex flavor. Breakfast tacos were small af and needed acidity/brightness. Salad was in huge pieces too big for our sharing plates. I’ve been before for dinner and the burger was VERY good, but brunch was disappointing.

I love this place and need to return for brunch. My ONLY gripe was the tables are very close together, and sitting at one of the high-tops right next to the bar meant the very enthusiastic people sitting at the bar drowned out our conversation several times. I don't want to damper anyone's fun, though!

Great find!!! Yummy food! Awesome drinks. Ambience gave off nostalgic vibes for me - pato cans, sarape blankets strewn about. Loved the closed off table and light fixture with colorful flowers for quieter conversation. One of the owners Daniel came by to welcome and gave a cool description of his restaurant journey. So glad they made it through the pandemic!!! Come out an support Latinx owned business!!! I’ll sure be back for the corn sweet potato fritters and pony boy cocktail and will bring lots of friends!

Those churros were delicious! I preferred the non-mezcal chocolate dipping sauce, but honestly they didn’t need sauce at all. My polenta was tasty with its thinly sliced trumpet mushrooms. Flavorwise adding egg and bacon was the way to go although it ate up the dollars I would have spent on a mimosa. Service team was kind and gave us a sweet sunny spot outside.

Excellent hidden gem! Not big in size, but mighty in taste! Plus they made me a really good mocktail!! The tacos were amazing! Seriously you can’t just order one kind!! We tried them all! Excellent service! Definitely going back!

FANTASTIC!! Had company in from out of town, and had a tight timeline. To be able to get a reservation for lunch, have a great meal, and get excellent food at a price worth the environment and the quality of the food and service was divine. Huge WAY TO GO, and I've already reached out to several friends to give them the heads up on Low Bar awesomeness. Will be back for sure.

Only complain that it was too cold in the restaurant. When we left, a party at a single table outside was warmer than we had been. Also, only having a black light in the bathroom was weird, except that it proved no excess DNA on the walls (it was clean).

Fantastic! Everything about Low Bar is excellent! The cocktails are delicious and super unique. There is sure to be something for everyone on the drinks menu. The food was spectacular - Corn and Sweet Potato Fritters were light and fluffy, Fried Sunchoke with Broccolini was something I've never tried before and the Ribs were so good! And the desert, OMG! We will definitely be back because the service was spectacular too! Love Low Bar!

Low bar is a great spot for drinks, small bites, or dinner. The vibes were upbeat but the music was just a little louder than I would’ve liked and it made chatting a little tough. The cocktails are amazing, highly recommend trying at least one. I loved the birria tacos! Can’t say that I’d recommend the guacamole, which seems an odd thing to say, but it had a little too much umami flavor. I think they should’ve stuck to a more core recipe. I’ll definitely go back to Low Bar.
