Overall I enjoyed our dinner out. That we have rarely gone out for the past year; and - it was my husband's birthday...I guess my expectations were high. My pozole was good. But, a bit bland. I like my husband's lasagne better. He enjoyed his porter. and dessert was very good....the gelato. The music was too loud and a distraction. Rolling Stones ? whatever it was seemed to be a weird choice for an elegant evening out.

Enjoyed great comfort food on a chilly evening. Ordered fried mushroom polenta bites, chicken and dumplings, and drunken goat mac and cheese. Hubby ordered wild forest risotto. Loved it all, and service was great on the upstairs patio.

Servers were attentive but not overbearing; good comfort food! I had the risotto and my husband had the cippino which adored almost as much as the bread; lol! Will definitely revisit once we can dine inside it was really chilly and the heaters were spread a but thin for the area.

A wonderful Valentine's dinner with my love. The risotto is Out.Of.This.World! I had the short rib. The flan was also great. We sat on the porch out of the rain with was very welcome given it had rained all day. Our waitress was a high light of the evening. The attention to detail and answering all our questions was very much appreciated! Great job Lovina! Can't wait to come back on our next visit!

Lovely, charming spot with great food. Outdoor dining at its best. They have expanded to their upstairs porch. Food is approachable and delicious and the wine reasonably priced. They also do carry out so that you can enjoy many of their dishes at home.

Went for outdoor dining dinner. It was nice with the heated lamps. The food was excellent. I ordered the bolognese and my husband ordered the steak.

Dinner was delicious, love the duck confit kale salad. Everything was good as expected. We believe that Lovina has the best menu and food in Calistoga.

Staff was great with the outdoor dining. They were very attentive and gave great options. Food was delicious and the wines complemented the meals.

I love this restaurant. The little gem salad was perfection and a nice balance to the fried polenta bites. We got to eat on the new upstairs porch, which was toasty warm and yet safe with fresh air.

My husband and I are both gluten free and vegan and we absolutely loved everything! The lasagna was amazing as was the cheesecake. We also loved the persimmon salad!

Such a wonderful dinner. Felt very comfortable with the outdoor seating during Covid. No tents meant full air to protect against covid. The beta lamp kept us cozy and they even had blankets. Food was fantastic!!

Excellent food, kind and caring wait staff, creative and delicious menu. Street noise is not great but the food and staff more than make up for it. So good we came back for a second dinner!

Enjoyed the crisp Monday night in the outdoor patio along the main street of town. Was offered freshly washed blankets during dinner though we choose not to take them up on the offer. Glad we made reservations since they turned many couples away. Food was on point and special other than the desert which was a bit average. But a hit over all. Two starters, 2 entrees and shared a desert for just over a hundred

I had the Autumn Toast, my hubby had Mitzi's BLAT and they were both amazing! The bread pudding was also fabulous!

Definitely go here for brunch if you’re in Napa/Calistoga. The owner also runs Zazie in SF and that place is delicious, but the wait is always so long. Lovina is way more casual, on a really pretty street, less “French” than Zazie but still as delicious. Two people can eat a burrito; it’s the size of a small child. And I definitely recommend a French Toast for the table.

Found this restaurant on a website that told you what not to miss if you were doing Napa/Sonoma in a quick 36-hour weekend, which was our exact plan. Do not miss this restaurant, especially for brunch on a Sunday morning. The chef really combines some spectacular flavorings! We reserved an outdoor table, but upon arrival, it seemed too cold for one of our party. The staff quickly rearranged tables for us, and sat us inside at a cozy setting near the kitchen itself, which only enhanced our olfactory senses with wafting incredible smells from within. The food, the service, and the ambiance all get 5 stars. What a great way to begin any day in Calistoga!

Lovina is awesome for Weekend Breakfast/Brunch!!! We have been going there every Sunday for at least a year now.

My wife and I were very disappointed with the cioppino dinners we had on the evening of November 12, 2020 at 6 pm.
The broth was delicious, but the seafood was terrible. The prawns were tough, the fish fell apart, and the octopus was so overcooked, we couldn’t chew it and ended up spitting it out. My wife had no clams, I had one clam and 2 empty shells. Fresh clams usually stick to the shell. The muscles were okay. The toast was delicious. I ordered a second piece of toast and was charged $3.00, seems rather high!
I was charged a corkage fee, even though the website specifically stated Thursday is corkage free night. It was Thursday. The waitress told me that Wednesday is corkage free night. I showed her the note on the website . She removed the charge.

I loved the green goddess little gems salad and the bread pudding was the best I’d had in forever! The pizzetta was a tad plain, I expected better crust and flavor. The space was lovely and wait staff was really nice...great service.

First time diners and would definitely return. Wednesday night wine specials were the draw to go that evening. -new fans from SF

We LOVE Lovina!! Most Sundays we are there, the 2 of us or we bring friends. He ALWAYS gets the French Toast, mooches off my potatoes & we share bacon. I rotate between 6 things depending on my hankering.

The restaurant is adorable and in a great location...very wine country feel special. The entrees were a bit expensive.
