Lovina is uniquely tip-free; our pricing includes a living wage, 401k with employer match, two weeks paid vacation, paid sick leave, and health/ dental insurance benefits for all our hard-working employees! Recognized as "Best of the Best" on Trip Adviser for Vegan/ Gluten-Free options, Lovina also satisfies omnivores with locally famous Bolognese and wild Halibut. Our menu is seasonal and locally sourced. Woman-owned by Calistoga local Jennifer Bennett (previous owner of Zazie restaurant in SF), Lovina is unique & welcoming. We feature Jen's handmade pottery, thrown, glazed, and at her home studio here in Calistoga.

I had such a memorable dinner at Lovina tonight to celebrate my Name Day. I had mentioned in the reservation that it was a special occasion, and the staff went above and beyond — greeting me at the door with a hand-signed card from the team and a sweet surprise gift. What a thoughtful way to start the evening! Lovina has become my go-to for special occasions. I live in Napa and always make a point to bring friends here when they’re visiting or to celebrate a birthday. Tonight, I sat on the upstairs patio with my dad and everything about the experience was lovely. We especially enjoyed the halibut, and the polenta mushroom bites were a standout. The beet and cheese salad was another unexpected favorite — fresh and perfectly balanced. What really sets Lovina apart is the genuine hospitality. The service is warm and welcoming, and the general manager took the time to personally greet us and make sure everything was perfect. In a region where some spots can feel overpriced or overly polished, Lovina delivers both quality and heart. Highly recommend for locals and visitors alike — it’s a gem in downtown Calistoga. Thank you, Lovina, for such a wonderful evening!

We loved it so much we went back for brunch the next day. This place is so special - it's like dining in someone's home as their guest. So cozy and welcoming, and the food is outstanding. Love to support restaurants and business owners that take such good care of their employees. It will be the first reservation we make on our next trip to Calistoga!

We sat upstairs in the quant house for a romantic dinner. It was lovely except for a large party in the same room. They were fine but it was not ideal. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals & the server was excellent, attentive & genuine. Would def go back but maybe sit in the courtyard next time.

Good food, but service was lacking. Took a while to get greeted at the table and served water. Our sever didn't check on us until we had finished our main course. I like the fact they include tip in the price of the food, but that removes the incentive for the server to provide exceptional service. Probably not going to recommend or return.
