Biscuits (4) and Gravy
Biscuits and Preserves
Visited from Seattle area and had a delicious meal,
chicken is crispy and delicious. Huge assortment of side dishes, it’s like eating at grammas house! The staff and manager was very personal and attentive, made our meal all the better.
First time customer. The food is phenomenal. Owen our server was outstanding!! It's well worth the hour drive. The shops are fantastic as well. Make sure you bring a mask for 1 shop. However the price of food is very very reasonable! The biscuits are mouth watering, and everything else is delicious! My son has a sensory disorder and doesn't eat a lot of foods. He tried the fried chicken and lived it. Trust me, you need to visit this amazing little place. It's so worth it!! Definitely make a reservation. They are always crowded. That's how delicious the food is!!! The restaurant is spotless, and very very clean!!!! Happy eating!!!
This a tourist trap. Great for a one time stop but if you are foodie this just won’t be the best meal you’ve had. It is old school southern comfort food, fried to the hilt. Biscuits are good but biscuit love has a better one. Fried chicken is good but I would pass this for Hatti B’s in a heartbeat. Glad I ate there once but definitely won’t be back.
Overall a Neat Experience...Good Country Food...Fried Green Tomatoes were Great...okra Great, Unlimited Biscuits and Jam...Fried Chicken needed Seasoning?...Maybe just this Batch...Cute Little Store on Site !!!
My family and I ate here while on vacation in Nashville and our breakfast was one of the best experiences of our trip. Nice service and great food for the prices.
Apparently, the good cooks have not returned to the Loveless Cafe since the pandemic. Most of our food was overcooked. We were seated outside the men's room and could see in their bathroom every time the door was opened. On the other side was the kitchen entrance. Overall it was not a pleasant dining experience. I will say our waitress was good and apologized for the abbreviated menu offered. We will try again at a later date to give them a second chance as this visit was not our normal experience.
Good food. We’re glad we visited this iconic landmark.
Convenient. We were seated on time to reservation. Nice atmosphere.
Our waitress was efficient, observant, and we waited for nothing. Biscuits are incredible. Too good to miss Loveless cafe
Great experience! The food and service were fabulous!
Good food, Prompt service, good all around experience.
We had the pleasure of having Virginia as our waitress. She was exceptional. What a great personality and made our visit perfect. In addition the food was very good
We went for breakfast. Ihave only been one other time and it was much better the first time This time eggs were over cooked snd cold. Biscuits were hard.
This is a must do while in Nashville. Excellent experience as usual. We did not go wrong.
Great dining experience in this iconic cafe right in my neighborhood!
Left with some souvenirs and extra biscuit mix for gifts. Service was exceptional!
Service with a smile and a must visit spot in the greater Nashville area.
Excellent as always . Great cream corn and fried chicken . Also got the cucumbers like my mom used to make .
Wonderful experience. Hadn’t been in several years and it was just as good as then. Consistency is very important. Service was top notch.
Can’t wait to go again.
The food was absolutely amazing and the whole restaurant itself is so cute! Highly recommend!!!
Our server, Owen, was fantastic. We went there specifically for our house guest. He was turned off because the chicken gizzards were too soft! He ordered specifically because he likes them chewy. Also, the turnip greens had sugar added (weird, I might add) thus he refused to eat them. His complaints were valid, I feel. My BBQ had a pool of grease under it. The vinyl tablecloth had a sticky syrup spot. Overall: please get your mojo back! I have loved you nearly 50 years and want you to stay great!
OMG the best fried
Chicken ever! And solid drinks and excellent service - worth the drive.
This place was delicious! I would definitely recommend. They give Cracker Barrel a run for there money. Can’t wait to go back. Fast and friendly service and great tasting food!
Off the beaten path. We went at 4:30pm on a Thursday. It was very quiet and perfect for our Anniversary! Our waitress brought biscuits with preserves, the best we have ever had! I had the dark meat fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans...I added a side of fried okra...all was delicious!!!! Home cooking 100%!
First visit and it was great. Will definitely be back!
Delicious!!!! We had fried chicken.... The sides were all wonderful too!
First-ever visit. What a gem! Us Yankees couldn’t get enough of the delicious Southern food. Absolutely fantastic!
I would highly recommend the Brussels sprout appetizer and also the Cauliflower appetizer. Both were very tasty. My husband ordered the 5 course tasting. While it was delicious his food arrived with different timings from the rest of our group of four. I would recommend your whole group participate or not bother. The rest of us had scallops, elk and duck. The dessert was amazing...the Almond Orange Cake. The only drawback for us was the dining room. We were from out of state, and I was hoping for a cozier and a bit more upscale dining room. The restaurant is in a garage conversion. It is very clean and well put together. We sat at a high top table (I had made reservations 6 weeks before), and one of our group was a very short so their feet dangled all night. I would suggest requesting a low table with your reservation. All in all we would return, maybe not quite so dressed up. Dinner was delicious.
Great experience for out of town family. I highly recommend to make reservations
Stopped for lunch during a road trip. Very nice place, enjoyed the gift shop as well.
Well worth the drive from Downtown Nashville. Great food and wonderful friendly staff.
Very large portions good home cooked food highly recommend
Our party didn't enjoy the food very much, but the biscuits were worth the drive.
Great chicken livers and the service was amazing
Owen was an efficient and humorous server. He shared helpful ideas of things to see & do while in Nashville. Atmosphere was countrified as anticipated. Creamed corn was delish! Great fried chicken and pulled pork.
We were able to be seated upon arrival. We were served quickly and the food met our expectation. This was our third visit over the years. We are from out-of-towners !
Our waiter was very fun and personable. Food was fabulous for our out of town special guest.
Had friends in from out of town and we had a great breakfast. All staff we inviting and eager to make our experience memorable.
