   Service & ambience were great but we expected more from the food with this cafe being iconic in Nashville. The biscuits & brisket special lacked flavor, needed more salt & butter. However, the pulled pork in our sampler plate was the best tasting along with the catfish & fried chicken. The house hot sauce also made them flavorful.

   We watched Somebody Feed Phil and this place was one of his favorites. It didn't disappoint! Love the charm and history of the place, great home made food, loved the chicken and my wife loved the breakfast. Biscuits are fantastic! great charming place to eat and the service was kind and helpful. one of the favorite places we ate during our trip to Nashville.

    Great food and atmosphere. Our waitress was even better. My 16 yo son couldnt decide on which breakfast to get- so he ordered two. Delicious country fried steak and chicken and waffles. I had the grilled chicken salad w peach dressing- so good!!!

    We enjoyed a relaxing sunny afternoon walking around the grounds and exploring the little shops before our table reservation time. Our waiter was friendly and helpful with walking us through the menu. There were so many delicious options but our favorites were the biscuits, peach preserves, bacon and hash-brown casserole. We really enjoyed the meal and look forward to returning.

    The food was standard country cooking. Chicken was what I was there for as it is what they are known for. It was “okay. My friend’s was pink inside. They were gracious enough to remove that meal from the ticket. Refills on drinks were prompt. Server was very good. Must make reservations on a busy day. We did, and that went well. The famous people on the walls likely make the trip enticing as it is out of the way from downtown.

    The Loveless cafe is very quaint and homey. The staff is extremely friendly. Our waiter was fantastic. That being said, the food was just ok. I got the fried chicken, fried green tomatoes and grits. None of them thrilled me, the chicken was just ok, the fried green tomatoes weren’t crispy and the grits didn’t have much flavor. I DID love the biscuits that were served as soon as we sat down. Could have eaten those all day.

    Awesome food and our server was outstanding! It was pretty crowded and loud when we were first seated. As people left the noise level dropped and tables opened up which made it much nicer. It is a busy place!!!!

    Experience at The Loveless Cafe was great. Only negative was OpenTable texting me at 5:19 in the morning and waking me up to remind me if my 8:30 reservation (not cool) especially after I drove 11 hours the day before to get to Nashville. Stop that! You shouldn’t be texting anyone more than 2 hours prior to their early morning reservation.

    This was definitely an experience based on hype and not great food. We looked for reservations and only found one within a five hour window on a Saturday morning, so we booked. Surely a place with so few reservations must be good, right? We would have been much happier sleeping in, saving the hour drive, and going to Cracker Barrel where the food would at least be tasty. The famous biscuits were tiny and over salted. We can check this off our bucket list and say we will never go back. It was definitely disappointing!

    The food was incredible as well as the service! Our server made sure to constantly make sure we were okay and had everything we needed and made us feel so welcome from the beginning. My group came to celebrate my birthday and the restaurant‘s atmosphere was just what I wanted and the staff made me feel so celebrated! Loveless never disappoints and is a must go place!

    We went because we have heard so many good things about the biscuits. Also it’s a Tn landmark. The omelette was on top of water from the canned veggies used, the eggs had no seasoning the sausage Pattie’s were still frozen in the middle. I ordered hot tea which the waitress said are you sure we just use Lipton no honey no lemon for 4.99!! Was not what we were expecting. We were a party of five. The only thing that was decent were the biscuits. We left feeling no Love from the Loveless cafe.

    Our server Virginia was bubbly, out-going and very knowledgeable of what the restaurant has to offer. She dealt with my husbands corny jokes and kept our table filled with fresh biscuits. The food was absolutely a southern delight. Will definitely be back!

    Best biscuits I’ve eaten in a long time. Everyone had a great meal. Only downside—the fried chicken wasn’t fully cooked (thigh) which can sometimes happen. We really were happy to have dinner there. Excellent peach bourbon cocktail, too!

    The Apple Butter was great. We love the hashbrown casserole. We took a vacation from Independence MO. to Myrtle Beach and made a special stop at Love Less Cafe for the amazing bisects.
