   This was our first visit to Love.Fish and it won't be our last. We ordered the seafood platter, increased the portion to include 3 people (instead of 2) and we all agreed it was a great meal. The seafood platter is really a tasting menu - fresh fish (prawns, scallops carpaccio, oysters (really good), salmon tartare and tuna crudo) all make up the cold selection and salmon fish cakes, fried squid, BBQ octopus, focaccia and fries all make up the hot dishes. We all agreed that the oysters, prawns and tuna crudo were excellent - fresh, served simply (the tuna crudo and scallop carpaccio each have a delicious sauce) and each dish showcased the fish. The hot dishes were generally good, with the best probably being the BBQ octopus (nice and smoky) . The weakest was the salmon fish cakes - too dry and no real taste (mostly filling). The fried dishes were nicely done (not greasy because the oil was fresh) and everything was nicely presented. Service was friendly, efficient and warm. We also tried an Australian albarino white which was light and went well with every dish. Our guest also had a cocktail which was also fresh and nicely paired with the meal. We look forward to going back to Love.Fish, it's not too touristy and the meal is a nice opportunity to enjoy Australian seafood in a very Sydney setting.

   Really enjoyed our meal here. Food was fabulous, I really loved the risotto! Service was spot on and shout out to Tom who was so much fun to talk to and swap London stories with! We’ll definitely be back.

   Hi team, we visited the place so many times, last time was on the 1st of March and the food was amazing however we were there yesterday and some food was not at high standards. My three friends got sick when they get home, what a coincidence. We have ordered same salads, desserts, etc. The watermelon salad was not fresh with the watermelon itself not tasting freshness the beetroot salad had the same issue with soft beets and not fresh. For dessert we ordered a famous banana pie and the cream on top did not taste fresh. Lucky I didn't eat the cream and I felt ok. We would come back to this place if you improve the quality and freshness of food especially when preparing salads and creams. Disappointed this time for such an experience. The service and staff is very friendly and professional.

   This was our second visit to Love Fish and I can't fault the food. The atmosphere is loud and buzzy, so it's not the place for a quiet meal but it has a great buzz and I think it will be one of our favourite city venues for a good meal out.

    We were the first group of four people to arrive at the restaurant for lunch. We had a booking. A female staff member (she is the pregnant lady in case you wonder) led us to a table that was right on top of the steps in the middle of the outside dining area. Sure, it was close to the water but it is at a "high traffic" area. The back legs of two of the chairs were sitting directly on the stubs usually found on top of the steps. We asked to move to the table next to us, she said, oh no, not that table, and set the menu on the table she led us to and walked away. All the tables were empty around us. Before we even sat down, two people were trying to get into the restaurant using those steps but they could not pass through. We asked another staff member to see if we could change to another table so he set us on another table. We noticed that they had left that table empty until the restaurant was at least 80% or 90% full before they put another group there. The table we wanted to move to at first was originally set up for 5 people had only four diners there. We could not help but wonder why we were put on that table in the first place despite having a booking and being the first table to arrive for the lunch crowd. Is it because we are Asians and looked like tourists? I am not sure if I would return after we were treated like this.

    Located on the wharf in Darling Harbor. Weather was great for eating outside and they gave us a great seat. Split a salmon starter which was excellent and I had the scallops and wife had trout. Both were excellent and fresh. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

    The food is absolutely delicious at Love Fish and never disappoints. Service is friendly and efficient. The location is great, the atmosphere near the water and the whole vibe at Barangaroo is fun and alive! If you have trouble deciding what to eat, you have to try their brussel sprouts and the swordfish.

    Food was fantastic and the setting was lovely. The only issue we had was with the service which was fine...but...to get a $17 glass of of wine in a tumbler because they had 'run out of wine glasses' when there were an extensive range of wine glasses hanging at the bar is not exactly what I would expect.

    Amazing, service, food and atmosphere. Octopus was the best I have eaten and portions were excellent. Value for money and the cocktails were great as well. Beautiful place to be on a Spring Evening by the Harbour.

    The menu offers a good selection of meals with emphasis on fish. All 4 of us had different fish meals which were substantial and of high quality. The service is efficient . Outside is very good for ambient setting. Good value for its location. Wine list is good but relatively expensive.

    I had a meeting with a client who was short on time and advised the waitress on the time restraint and she was very accommodating to our needs. We ordered and within 10 mins our meals came to the table and were delicious. I have been here a few times before and food has always been sensational. The weather was terrible with heavy rain and hail which made the noise level a bit overbearing but i am sure on a sunny day the view and atmosphere would make Love Fish a beautiful spot for lunch or dinner.

    Lunch at love.fish was exceptional! We dined on oysters, calamari and trout. The twice cooked chips were such a treat! The service was wonderful. Staff making time to talk and listen - we had a great time. I really appreciated not being hurried along. Thank you so much for a wonderful venue for our date lunch!

    Fantastic food! Ordered the grilled octopus, salmon tartare, clearwater scallop & asparagus, trout fillet and flash fried brussel sprouts. All the flavours were amazing! Felt like alot of food for two people though :)

    Really nice place, food was very delicious and service was great, even though it was a busy night. The only negative was that it was a super hot night and we were seated outside, it was uncomfortable. I would have thought that the restaurant would have fans….otherwise I love it all

    We had such a wonderful evening at Love Fish 🐠 Great atmosphere, delicious cocktails and incredible food. Only small issue was the wait time for the main meals. It was over an hour and a half wait time. Not ideal with young kiddos. We even booked a 5:30pm seating so we could beat the crowds. Other than this, we had a fabulous time!
