Terrible experience we booked for 7:30pm then after sitting for 15 minutes we had a waitress come and take our drinks order then 5 minutes later we were told the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes so we had to rush then leave 30 minutes after . Just terrible

Really disappointed in my lunch here. Three friends catching up for a special lunch and got fish and chips that were cold and served without care. Not even a piece of parsley on the plate to make it look nice. Cold chips under cold fish. I had the spinach linguine with packet prawns and tomato sauce so sweet it tasted like Heinz's ketchup. Liquified wet pasta. I noticed other tables left their food too. Waitresses lovely just a shame the food was so tasteless

After many lovely visits to Love Fish..sadly this was my worst experience… The waiter was attentive when we were shown to our table, ensuring we had the heaters near and a ready supply of blankets..It was a cold and windy June day. I was impressed they offered mulled wine, which was pleasant..I was disappointed they had discontinued their lovely mushroom and puy lentil side dish. I ordered fish and chips and was confronted with a huge pile of skinny fries atopped with 3 small pieces of anemic looking battered fish.. I thought no problem I’ll just eat the fish inside, but there was very little..I dislike ‘skinny fries’ the least healthy version of chips.. The fish was tasteless so I asked for tomato ketchup… Having express my concerns to the waiter I was offered a free dessert, I would rather the dish had been removed from my bill.. Apple crumble arrived after a 15 minute expected wait.. Well I can only call it their version of deconstructed! It consisted of some apple, some stewed some almost raw and some inderminate orange coloured slices, which I couldn’t put a name to, with a sprinkling of rolled oats, which didn’t even cover half the fruit.. topped with vanilla ice cream.. What can I say..hugely disappointed all round.. Come on Love Fish maintain your usual excellent standard …

Food was absolutely amazing! Would dine again if the service staff were more attentive. The service was poor! After being ushered to our table and told the table was limited to 2 hours… it took 30 minutes to take our first drink order.
