    Tried Love Language for the first time last Friday night. Snagged reservations a few days in advance and had no problem getting a table for two. Our server, David, was prompt, attentive (without hovering over us), funny, personable, and made solid recommendations. We started with the gigante beans - which were served chilled but were refreshingly satisfying - and a bowl of very light pasta, which they made fresh and cut in-house. The pasta's flavors were subtle, but pleasant. After these were the pizzas (10"): the L"UVA" (a "white pizza" - no red sauce), and their special of the night, a pepperoni pie with honey glaze. Both were terrific, though if there was a winner, it would have to be the L"UVA". As a word of advice, though, ask for extra prosciutto. It was a bit scarce on ours. Finally, we went in for two desserts - the coconut cake w/ strawberries, and a special of blueberry ice cream sandwiched between two lemon cookies. The cookies were the harder kind, which is normally fine but in this case led to the ice cream being squished out of the sides when we bit into it or tried cutting it with a knife. The coconut cake was a generous portion of crumbly, yellow cake with an ever-so-subtle sweetness to it, though right away seemed to be missing something. Not to presume the pastry chef wants my critique, but if he were to ask for it, I would love to see a softer, moister version of this one with just a bit more sweetness. For the ice cream sandwich, softer cookies. Overall? We had a great time, were delighted with the service and atmosphere of the place and, despite not all of the eats quite being 10-outta-10's, we really enjoyed the food. Sadly, we didn't booze it up that night, so I can't speak to the drinks, but I would highly recommend Love Language to anyone as a place worth checking out. And try to be seated in David's section, if you can. Guy's the best.

    Our server was fabulous. So friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The menu choices are awesome but the taste just doesn’t hit the mark. Think there’s a ton of potential for this restaurant if they can tweak the recipes on the dishes.

    Beautiful place. Had the artichokes and buratta to start. Artichokes were super salty but love the buratta. Pasta was good size and ribbon noodle was cooked to perfection. Had a lemon flavor that wasn't my thing but seasoned nicely.

    The Brussel Sprouts… they are going to be one of those dishes that I keep craving over and over again. I had one of the drink specials as well and it was delicious. I went around dinner time on a Tuesday, sat at the bar and it was quiet and enjoyable!

    I used to go to this location when it was Boundary. I was so sad when it closed. However, Love Language is an AMAZING replacement. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The service was outstanding. The food was wonderful and the presentation superb. Their signature cocktails were excellent and very reasonably priced. Overall we could not have asked for a better experience. My husband and I will certainly return in the near future.

    The service and staff were excellent- as was the great valet! The food was interesting and good, but for every dish we had I know of a better version somewhere in town. Nice atmosphere and location. Overall a very good pick for dinner with friends or a date night.

    For dessert we got coconut cake and it was flaky and dry, dry focaccia bread with burrata, drinks too sweet. Pizzas were dry hardly any sauce way too much arugula. $210 for three people and wildly mediocre.

    I cannot say enough about our time with the Chefs Table Dinner experience. Marcus’ food was out of this world!!! We had great service from David as well. Never needed for anything. We truly enjoyed our time and it was a great memory made! I highly recommend it if you enjoy food and good company!

    This is a hidden gem. Fantastic pizza, strong cocktails and friendly service. The menu changes often with unusual flavor combos and ingredients. The decor, art and background music create a very cool, laid-back but elevated vibe. Great for a date night and just a good friend hang.

    Thanks for a great evening! We were in town on a warm summer evening, and had a relaxed dinner for 2 on the patio.     I’ve dined at Love Language a few times and had great experiences, but this particular night was absolutely wonderful! Food was amazing and each item we ordered was cooked to perfection. Our waiter, David, was the most attentive person and was an expert on the menu. He had the best recommendations on wine and cocktails to pair with each dish. I had recommended the place to friends who had never been and all had the same feedback. Even with dealing with a break in earlier that morning (which I’m sure was a very stressful situation) every person we interacted with at the restaurant was so welcoming and ensured we could celebrate my friend’s 30th birthday the best way possible. Thank you love language for all the wonderful memories!

    The restaurant was adorable. The cocktails were delicious. The service was outstanding. However, our food was luke warm and the octopus was seriously overcooked and rubbery. All in all we enjoyed ourselves.

    The coffee was good. The entrees were only ok…we had the duck, the only recommended pasta plate, and margarita pizza. It’s pretty sad if you are listed as an Italian restaurant but you only have three pastas, and your server will only recommend one of them. It was also extremely loud and very kitschy. They were a lot of bachelorette parties there…

    Appetizers were good. The pasta was unremarkable and small portioned. I would guess the pizzas are probably a better choice here. The decor and energy was lively and bright but the patrons seemed to mostly be tourists. For the money, we would likely go elsewhere next time.

    Love Language was a lot of fun! The drinks and small plates were absolutely delicious. The crispy artichokes were the surprise winner of the night. Our server was great and the whole staff was very attentive! Our table was in a bit of a weird spot so we didn’t see much of the restaurant but the atmosphere seems nice. It was nice to see the old Bound’ry location being used again!

    I’ve been here multiple times, and it never disappoints! Dave has been a great server numerous times - very knowledgeable and attentive. We felt so taken care of! The manager on duty even stopped by to check on our meals. 10/10 would recommend again.

    How is it possible to make chicken thighs dry? Another question, how do you make duck dry? You basically have 3 dinners to choose from. You would think you would be good at cooking them.

    Everything was excellent! The drinks creative and tasty. The appetizers were fantastic especially the rice balls and the Brussel sprouts. Wine list exceptional. Pastas were amazing.     Fantastic brunch! Our server, Shane, knew the menu well and also the interesting history of the building. Eggs Purgatory aka Shakshuka, was SO flavorful! Perfect, shareable starter. Then I had the Eggs Benedict with mortadella, which was amazing, and my partner had the Sammy. The fries that accompanied it were addicting. I will definitely go back for brunch and dinner!! Glad I found this gem.
