   If you want good service, but a bar manager that can't keep up with inventory, a kitchen staff with a busted printer, a kitchen that puts out room temperature food, and a shift manager that can't void a check, this is the bar for you.

   This is a good brunch with a good atmosphere! Their OpenTable computer doesn't work for those who made the reservation less than two days in advance, so don't bother making a last minute reservation. Other than that, my experience was perfect.

   We came in and there were only two other tables with folks sitting at them. We waited for about 10 minutes to be greeted at the hostess stand. We were told by, what I think was, the busboy. He said to sit where ever. We told him we had an open table reservation. He said they don't know how to work the system. Once we sat, it took the waitress 12 minutes to then come and take our drink order. We were now 22 minutes from our reservation time and we were just placing our order. We had drink and ordered an appetizer. It was decent. But the waitress never came back to take our meal order. After we got the app, she then brought our check. We had been there from about 40 minutes from the time we walked in until she brought the check. But we weren't giving. The chance to order a meal. Our waitress did seem to be enjoying the basketball game. We noticed her sitting down a couple of time at an empty table to watch. Bizarre. We won't be back.

   We've gone to Lou's for many years to celebrate birthdays with families. Sadly, the experience this last Saturday was awful. My party of 11 was sat in the atrium, which we like because it's airy and we have four kids that can use the extra breathing room. Well, we had to ask to be moved inside this time. To our left, there was a group of heavy smokers and the plastic walls of the atrium were poorly sealed. We could not tolerate the smoke wafting inside. We moved to the left side because off to the right where we were sitting before had a group of heavy smokers who brought their very rambunctious barking pit bulls with them. The smoke wafted in from their side along with barking and growling. I do not understand why the manager allowed this. At any rate, the service indoors was so bad we had to make trips to the bar to put in orders for things on top of being "served" by waitstaff. We wound up eating our appetizers on napkins because there weren't enough plates brought to accommodate our large party. We won't be going again!

   The server was amazing, had a upbeat attitude and the food was okay.

   It took awhile for anyone to even notice that we were standing at the front of the restaurant, waiting to be seated. We had made a reservation on Open Table, but we were never checked in. The food was okay, but not for me. I've been to Lou's for sporting events and for grabbing a late night beer, but I would not recommend it for brunch.
