   Their sound system was broken and was really boring ambiance. Employees were eating in front of customers at the bar. Staff was not very attentive even though it was very empty. Food was descent.

   I wouldn't suggest going here if you are wanting a conversation. The music is so beyond loud that the waiter can barely hear you. There were children at tables near us covering their ears and clearly not a place for kids. We ended up leaving before order any food.

   I chose this place mainly for the view and we sat on a table with no view. Not what I had in mind for my special birthday. No champagne even though it said there would be when I made the reservation. The worst parte was that the waitress was rushing us to leave from minute 1… so annoying and disrespectful, always trying to pick up the food and drinks while we were still eating and drinking. I was embarrassed in front of my guests. I was also told I couldn’t book dinner at an earlier time because you were “so full” but all the tables up the stairs were empty. And then when it was time to pay, there was a lot of miss-communication. Will definitely not recommend it for groups.

    Came here with friends for a birthday dinner. Food and service were great. They were very accommodating when we asked to move inside as the patio is VERY loud!

    Service started out great but the food was just ok. The chicken sandwich was undercooked so I stopped eating it as soon I noticed. The pizza we ordered had a hair on it. The server didn’t come around to ask how our food was but we didn’t bother to get his attention because we were over it, grossed out and wanted to leave.

    The food was absolutely delicious, great music and decor. The only downside is it being extremely cold not enough heaters for us. It was really hard to enjoy everything with us shivering and my hands cramp when they get cold.

    Fine. Two things though. First, the non-alcoholic options are “Coke products,” and sparkling water. So, kids’ drinks, or water… which is $8 a bottle. In 2023 that’s surprising. Second, there’s a 4% service charge that is “for the kitchen.” Isn’t that what the price of the food is? This isn’t about the server or regular tip, it’s something else: like the cover charge you might get in some European countries. It’s not much, but it is tacky. Lastly, it might be nice if staff knew that knife and fork apart = still eating; knife and fork together = finished. Hardly a tragedy but do people who work in a restaurant really not know this? All in all not bad, but this is not the Cheesecake Factory next door, and so really should be better.

    Terrible service — from start to finish. We walked in with reservations; no one greeted us or even acknowledged our presence until we said something. Once seated, the waiter took our order quickly and was never to be seen again. We couldn’t order more food or drinks; not even a refill of water — we had nearly waived down every single worker; it almost seemed like they were trained to ignore customers. To make matters worse, they didn’t even bring us napkins or utensils. We had to wipe our hands on the edge of the plates and eat with our fingers. Avoid coming here!! You have no view of the ocean, service is super bad, and the food is average… so many other better places in Santa Monica.

    The restaurant was nice the service was a little slow because there was heavy volume of customers.that day I don’t think they were prepared for it. And also there was not valet service available . So it was stressful getting to our reservation on time we had to park in the mall parking lot. Otherwise it was an enjoyable experience

    Went there for a birthday brunch, and quite a few groups had the same idea. It felt just like South Beach in Miami with the energy and music! Place is super fun but also a little chaotic, which is why I only rated the service 3 stars. They were super friendly, but it was pretty slow. We had a 2:15pm reservation, and we didn't leave until after 4pm. Most of the time was spent waiting for the drinks and food. The lava cake we ordered took over 25 minutes. But the place was super fun, and we will be back. Just don't go during brunch if you're on a schedule.

    We consistently had to call our waitress back ourselves, she never once came in to check on us, only to deliver our food. We asked for the same condiments multiple times and finally got it when we were almost done with our appetizers. We ordered escargot’s, since it is a French restaurant, and they were extremely bland and tasted as if it had just been boiled and served in water. The end of the night basically turned into a DJ club night while everyone was still eating dinner and it was extremely loud for no reason. Will probably not come back.

    Nice staff, glam atmosphere. Drinks from bar seemed watery (wait staff tasted one and agreed--it was sent back and came back in a smaller glass). Both main courses were ordinary, but one was served not even warm. Salads were very good.

    Went for Valentine's Day. Felt that the servers did their best, but it was clear that the restaurant had too many tables. Took us 45 minutes just to get water. Food was ok, but given how long we were waiting, definitely wasn't worth it.

    I'm so very sad to leave this review because I quite badly wanted to like this place. Went for the valentine's days pre fixe menu. The French jazz band was exceptional, the ambience excellent, the drinks good. Sadly it took 45 mins to receive our appetizer. I get it, it's valentine's day and they are busy. The entree took another 40 mins. This was after we had already spoken to the waitress (who never once said sorry) and the hostess. The entree arrived....well, we ordered a medium well steak, and it was RAW. Not rare, RAW. See the attached picture. When I politely mentioned it to the waitress, all she said was "so you want another?" The dessert came...well the profiteroles tasted cold and dry like they were straight out of the freezer. The bill, close the $300...for raw meat. We, sadly won't be returning.

    Had a really rough experience here on Valentines Day. Waited at every step of the experience and didn’t have a server other than the uninspired iPad holding person who would stop by our table every 40 minutes. The portions were fairly small for our 99 pre fix menu and we felt very unattended. The seats and tables were so together that you could easily hear the conversations next to you, and we were even interrupted by a person next to us saying that they had been listening to us the whole time. Also they gave out a few blankets and a greeter rudely asked if my girlfriend was “still using hers” despite it clearly being wrapped around her shoulders Lol. Won’t be recommending and hoping for some compensation to help us from this ripoff. Probably going to write a review on Yelp too so more people can be warned.
