   My first time visiting. I was pleasantly surprised. My server was very helpful with my questions and plenty of gluten free options for my friend. Great happy hour on wine which was surprisingly good for a HH choice! I will certainly be back!

   Great atmosphere. Interesting but relatively small menu (no one likes to leaf through pages!). It felt like a special night out without being stuffy, which is just what we were looking for. Our server was extremely kind, really elevating the experience. We will be coming back!

    Waitress was wanting an order everything situation and we’ve done this enough to know sometimes when you order everything at one it will all come out at once. So we delayed the entre order until our appetizer came. In our entre order a salad was ordered also and sure enough salad and entre came out together. Hibachi steak included broccolini but got green beans instead. Steak was good. 5 cheese tortellini was ordered w salmon. Salmon was good but tortellini was not. Shrimp taco appetizer was good but was 1/2 the size of pic shown online. We counted 3 servers for 15 tables. Not that we were in a hurry but services was not what you would expect for a 140.00 meal. Won’t be back!

    The food and the wait staff were terrific!! Unfortunately, the people beside us had enjoyed the happy hour too much and were unbelievably loud! While it's not the restaurant's issue, they are in a tough spot to ask someone to be quiet and not upset those people. But, they were so very loud that it did ruin our meal. I should have said something to them, but they were drunk enough I was unsure how they would react. This is a five-star restaurant when there aren't loud drunk people next to you!! It's worth taking a chance to go. It's great food and wonderful staff.

    We went there for my birthday, I am gluten free, so eating out is sometimes a challenge, but the items that can be made gluten free are clearly marked which is very helpful, The food was very fresh and delicious, and the service was great!

    Louie’s has the best dining experience in Clayton. The food is always perfect, and their seasonal menu is unique in the area at this price point.

    Very Impressed, went with some friends, they had a happy hour menu that we got the best brussell sprouts! Several cocktails and wine by the glass, even had a nice selection of beers. The food was outstanding, everyone liked everything. Also, nice to have the prices very reasonable and the waitress was perfect. Made my night, and I will bring others to this amazing gem.

    First time diners. Amazing service by Brett. Food was very good, and all the right temperature. Brett’s recommendation for the wine was outstanding and paired well with our meals. Will be back.

    The Food was Amazing! Drinks average. I would stick to wine next time! Very nicely decorated. A bit loud for older crowd. It would have been way better if some drunk crowd were not shouting at the bar. The food makes the place a 12/10. Will definitely be back! Compliments to the Chef ♥️

    We had a lovely dinner. Excellent service. Yummy food. Enjoyable atmosphere. And offering reservations was a huge plus. We walked right in and sat down. We will definitely go again. Try the Brussels sprouts!!!

    Very nice and relaxed dining experience. Excellent service with knowledgeable wait staff about both (extensive) wine list and food, which can best be described as upscale casual and very fresh. Beignets for desert were AMAZING, and per the Chef (who we spoke with) are his Grandmother’s recipe from Louisiana.

    This was our first visit. We chose the restaurant based on the reviews and availability on OpenTable. We reviewed the menu first on OpenTable and then visited the website. We dined on Friday, February 10. We were very disappointed when we showed up to find they only had a ‘ Valentine’s Day’ limited menu with less than a quarter of their regular menu selections and a $55 pp V Day special (which in my opinion, the server tried to push). There was no notification on their website or Open Table that they would be doing a limited Valentine’s Day menu 4 days before Valentine’s Day. We had already pre-selected what we were going to order and none of these items were available. Very disappointing. However, what we did order was fine. Lastly, there was one more disappointment. Their limited menu offered only two desserts, one being a red velvet cream Brulé. We each sampled one bite, called the waiter and told him to take this off the bill. Cream Brulé has a hard sugared candy crust, and a creamy filling. What they brought us had neither. The wine was good, the food that we did order was fine (2 salads), but overall it was such a letdown for us.

    This visit was okay but not amazing. I had ordered a salad that never came and another in our party order brussel sprouts as an appetizer but when we finally asked about them, we ended up getting them after the meal. Drink refills only happened if we asked. This has. It been the case with previous visits so it won't necessarily prevent us from returning, but it just wasn't what it usually is.

    We went for brunch and it was just okay. The beet salad was more an arugula salad, barely any beets in it. The fresh fruit was old and wasn’t nicely presented. I was not impressed with the avocado toast. The bread quality could be better for the price paid. The don’t serve cappuccino at brunch… or the fresh squeeze juices… the only good thing about the brunch was a 25% off the “beet salad” for the long wait that was offered to us by the server (we didn’t ask for it). We were also brought beignets on the house. Too much powder sugar on them…. We would not come back for brunch.

    Louie's Wine Dive & Clayton Kitchen is a must-visit restaurant for food and wine lovers alike. The Peanut Butter Burger is a standout dish with a delicious combination of flavors that will leave you wanting more. The juicy IPA Half Chicken is also a must-try. All this was topped off by one of the best chicken sandwiches my father-in-law had ever tasted. The wine list is impressive, but the selection by the glass is limited. However, the real star of the show is the server, Brett, who is incredibly knowledgeable and able to make perfect recommendations for food, wine, and dessert pairings. If you're looking for a great dining experience, Louie's Wine Dive & Clayton Kitchen is the place to go.

    Wines by the glass options were not only very limited, but a little overpriced. Food was good, but portion sizes were small. However, prices were less than most surrounding restaurants in STL and Clayton. Im pretty sure that beet salad was prepared w canned beets. The salmon was great, but again small portion same the calamari. Service was good too, just a hair slow, but very friendly and professional

    Great location in Clayton which we visited to start the New Year with "bubbles" (champagne)! GET THE BEIGNETS with butter rum sauce! We, also, had the St Louis Omelette & the Classic Benedict which were scrumptious. Good Bloody Mary, too!
