It would be really helpful if a restaurant is closed you wouldn’t allow people to book a reservation. We had a group of ten and booked a reservation for a bachelorette trip and was stunned when we showed up and they were closed till the 10th. You’d think since y’all send emails or sometimes charge when people don’t show up for their reservation telling people this causes lost money for the restaurants y’all would hold yourself to the same standards. Pretty frustrated about the whole situation. Do better.
I reserved a table for January 3 on open table only to find out that the restaurant was closed for renovations when we arrived . Paid for parking and left out in the cold as far as having another spot to have dinner. Not a good date night!!!
There was no experience! Showed up at our reservation time to find out they were closed for renovations! Couldn’t even cancel my reservation without calling so I could book an alternative spot!
The food that we ordered was awesome. We a got couple apps that were hand delivered by the chef himself which was the perfect touch. We tasted the chicken fried carrots and the Brussels sprouts and the flavor on both definitely went beyond expectations. They had a unique combination that worked for both. We did not order an entree but saw a table next to us who ordered the lamb shank which looked absolutely incredible. Our servers were very friendly and personable however we received our food before we received our drinks which is a little backwards. Considering we ordered our drinks we before the food. I would definitely check this place out.
Excellent food and great, humorous and interactive staff made for a great first time impression.
Wonderful and creatively crafted dishes. We had a table of 8 including our young grandson and our waiter was attentive and his suggestions were spot on. For what we had, I thought it was reasonably priced. Surprised it was not busier on a Sat nite - could be the location.
One suggestion, please add a few more California wines to your extensive list! Will return on our next visit.
Fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere, & exceptional service 10/10 would recommend
My husband and I booked at Louie’s for our anniversary dinner this past Tuesday. We chose it based on the location proximity to our apartment and our next stop. We practically had the restaurant to ourselves and we’re seated in a nice window booth. My husband had a beer from happy hour at the bar before I arrived, and when we were sat I ordered us champagne. The hostess brought us our glasses and let us know they were on the house for our anniversary- I had put that we were there to celebrate on our reservation. The food was great- I had the boar ragú and my husband stuck with a simple burger. The ragú/gnocchi seemed small when it arrived but it was the perfect ratio of gnocchi and wild boar with a side of grilled bread. We skipped dessert in favor of our second location but overall had a great time!
Not what we expected. It was beautiful but not for the price. The menu is not extensive for a group. Maybe good for a romantic date.
Had a great meal! Great service, great food and drink in a very cool atmosphere. We will be back next time in Nashville.
I have been here before and the food was good. When i came back there was a new menu and i was not impressed. Tasted like a lot of salt in the food as well
Love this place! Perfect if you want to get away from the bar scene and have a nice dinner! Wine selection is fantastic as is the food!
Fantastic find. Great chill place a great food and great wine. New favorite!
We went for brunch, amazing spot with bottomless mimosas and great menu items! Such a good vibe in there too.
The food was good. We had great service and it was a nice atmosphere.
Outstanding service. We were not rushed and allowed to enjoy brunch as a family. We began with beignets which were phenomenal. Our experience just got better from there. Each of us ordered something different; blue plate special, French toast and classic Benedict and it was delicious. My daughter and son in law from Florida have already said we have to return on their next Nashville visit. Our compliments for a fantastic brunch.
Our server was outstanding. The service, food, wine and atmosphere was great.
Many small plates available for sharing. Interesting choices. The waiter was knowledgeable with the many wines on their list. Wine list was great with many off the mainstream for those who wish to try. Overall very pleasant experience.
We ask for recommendations and the wine was great, the appetizers ( I would have never picked chicken fried carrots, but would pick brussel sprouts) were great and the entree’s were fantastic( Korean fried chicken and the winner was the gnocchi ). This was a great recommendation by yelp. Thank you yelp reviewers and thank you Emily for your recommendations .
The pressed watermelon and shrimp appetizer is the bomb!
Loved the food and the little plates that let us to savor a range of flavors! And the excellent wine selections that went well with the food. Definitely a 3-Montucky experience!
Food was so good, and we sat at the bar. Our bartender was very knowledgeable about wine, and he went above to make our night a special one.
Server was wonderful. Service top notch!
The service was great!
Fantastic place. Great date location. Staff made it a wonderful experience.
We went here for an early anniversary dinner and we could not be more pleased with the service down to the food! Our waiter, Jonathan, was very knowledgeable and steered us in the right direction for our entire meal choices including the wine! Thank you Jonathan! We will be back.
Came here for girls birthday brunch & had the best time! The food& service were great!
This was our regular Girls’ Night our spot, but they’ve changed the menu!!! I was really apprehensive about the new menu, especially with my boyfriend found with me this time, but The food was awesome !!!!!! We will definitely be back!!!!!
Our server, Johnathan was incredibly knowledgeable about the wine and could describe the entrees in intricate detail before ordering! The food was seasoned perfectly, interesting combinations of flavors, but freshness and flavorful were consistent throughout. We would recommend for a delicious meal, paired with original wines you can’t find elsewhere!
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
New place to try and not disappointed. Great atmosphere. Wonderful drink and food selection. Fried carrots for non southerners was a hit! In a city with so many choices this is worth going back again.
There were 10 of us girls and it was such a great place for Brunch. Bottomless mimosas + amazing service.
Best wine spot in town. Fantastic food, great staff and great atmosphere.
Great server, great food, great wine.
Great wine selection, food was superb, and very fun atmosphere. Waiter was knowledgeable about food and wines on menu. Loved his wine rec: (Folly of the Beast) !! Had a quick dinner before concert at Bridgestone. Will definitely return for a more leisurely dinner next time I'm in Nashville.
Quaint restaurant that you’ll miss if you don’t look twice. Super peaceful and great service! The breakfast potatoes are so good. Awesome option if you don’t want to deal with the more touristy and trendy options that Nashville has to offer.
The service and ambiance were good. The food was not edible. Avoid the gnocchi (tasted like bread) and pasta (way too many onions). The servers were quick, friendly and accommodating. The bar scene was good as well.
The food was delicious, but portions were small. It is very bright in the restaurant, especially for a dinner hour. The tables are low, which makes communicating with the wait staff awkward. I would definitely come back for a happy hour, as it would be a better value.
This was my third visit to Louie's and not my last. There were seven in our party and everything was great. The service was superior and the food VERY good!
Happy hour was great!
