We enjoyed the food but were hoping for wine flights to sample more wines.
Great as always, fresh seasonal selections are always suburb! Wonderful wine list.
Their burgers were amazing!!!!!!
We had a reservation for 6 pm which was a perfect time. The place was not busy. Our server, Leann, was excellent! The food and drinks were fantastic!
All ordered fish n chips. My dad's breading was raw and clearly not the same brown color as mine and my mom's. And the French fries were almost non existent...quality control is really down. They were slow so I can't even justify it by them being busy.
This was our first time at Louie’s. The food was excellent and our server, Megan, was wonderful. We will be back again!
I love that nearly all the food is or can be made gluten free.
We had a great dinner at Louie’s! We were seated on the patio and enjoyed our dinner! Perfect night!
Excellent food and service! Only one air conditioner working and it was very hot in the restaurant, which was a bit uncomfortable.
Their air conditioning was not working and it was about 95° outside I’m so surprised they didn’t have a fan circulating air inside the building as it’s at the bottom of a three-story building, older of course on mass Avenue. Our waitress was spectacular she seem to roll with it and knew the menu very well accommodated us with ice and drinks to keep us cool.
Average food but really good drinks
Fish and chips was excellent.
Not greasy at all. Especially loved the rice batter.
Coming from a native Scottish perspective this food was first class.
Great food and service! Our favorite place to go when we go to mass ave!
Great place for lunch during the week. Awesome salad choices!
Food is absolutely flavorful! Gotta have the beignets!!
Excellent experience. Our meals were delicious. Both the red & white wines were fantastic. Wait staff was courteous, efficient and quick.
Great lunch menu at reasonable prices. Food was wonderful.
Great place for dinner with friends! Loved the seasonal deal of all you can eat crab legs!
Swatting flies the whole time sort of killed the vibe. Temp was warm, could have been cooler with less flies and we would have had a great time. Good food.
Great value for the all you can eat crab legs!
My wife and I enjoyed our dinner. It was a fun time.
Stopped in for a mother’s day drink and bite to eat before a show at the Murat theatre, mixed drinks were light on the serving size for the volume and slow to be served, craft beers were priced at market rate, fish and chips were nice and light, calamari somewhat rubbery, and Emily’s Harvest salad was a nice mix.
All in all 4 out of 5 stars
Very nice and relaxing place during the week - appetizers and food was excellwnt
Service was slow, I felt like we were seated in an isle
The manager and server could care less. We were watching the Stanley Cup playoffs and planning to have wine, appetizers and drinks dinner. They, the manager, abruptly changed the channel to the NBA playoffs, which NONE of the other patrons were watching. We asked for just one of those he TV’s to be changed back. We were told by the server that “this is an NBA bar”. We left and had a great dinner at Hedge Row. We go to Louie’s in BR at least 2x’s a month. Will not go back. The server and manager were rude.
What a great atmosphere! Food and drinks were excellent, but the bar service was a little slow. We were there at dinner time and it did get noisy. We will definitely be back !
The food and service was wonderful. They have a variety of gluten free options. I had the carne asada tacos and split the GF apple cobbler with a friend. Everything was delicious. Our table also split a carafe of grapefruit mimosas. The price can’t be beat. They also have dedicated GF cooking space. Will definitely be going back :)
We love this place. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. Impressive wine list. One of our favorite places to go.
Staff was attentive without being intrusive and the food was excellent. An excellent stop before going to the Murat.
This was our first time at Louis’ and all I can say is WOW! The atmosphere is exactly what we look for. Comfortable. Welcoming. Inviting. It’s laid back but has a feeling of rustic elegance.
The service was outstanding. Our server was very knowledgeable on everything in the menu. My husband and I shared multiple appetizers. The deviled eggs, Brussel sprouts, tuna nachos and Tuna Poke.
All outstanding! Everything had such incredible flavor. They have an impressive wine list and bourbon selection.
The Tuna Poke was like sushi and Mexican food had a baby!
The pecan Brussel sprouts were amazing!
Dessert was fabulous. Get the beignets! WOW!!! Best dessert I have had in a long time. Do yourself a favor and go! Or don’t go. That way it’s not too crowded for us! Lol
Compliments to the Chefs!
This has been my favorite place to eat in Indianapolis, I don't know if I am coming back. I wanted a salad with dinner but didn't want a full portion salad as I had a meal coming and the server was to bothered to at least try and accommodate my request. It had had happened in the past when I have eaten there. I don't know if I am coming back it was a real disappointment
We love the Louis Wine Dive in Broad Ripple but did not have the same experience on Mass Ave. Although the main entree tasted excellent, portion sizes were really small. Ended up going to another restaurant for appetizers after our meal amd we’re not necessarily big eaters.
Relatives in town
Louie’s on Mass ave was fantastic! The food was great, the wine was great and so was the staff/service. We can’t wait to go back.
Great place to eat and enjoy wine. Prices are reasonable and the service is great.
Always good, hanger steak right now is awesome!
I made a reservation on Open Table for high top tables. When we got there we needed a low top table so they made a change for us. They were very accommodating and the food and mimosas were great.
Great time, one minor incident with the food but I loved it! The service and the atmosphere were amazing, definitely worth the visit.
All you can eat was just ok. The crabs legs took too long to come out and my last set had cold spots plus I felt it had no season on them. The last set tasted very differently than the other ones I had.
This was our first time at Louie's, and we will definitely return! We had a party of ten, and the service was wonderful. The drinks, food, and desserts were excellent as well. We were hosting friends from out of town, and they were happy with our choice of Louie's!
