Brunch was excellent. The food was very good, the service was great. Cocktails were perfect - I highly recommend the Bloody Mary. Serving sizes were perfect, too.
Everything was fantastic only thing I recommend is a animal section where people with animals or pets can sit there was someone with dog allergies and they looked unhappy
food was delish and different
We had a great experience at Louie Louie! The waitstaff were very attentive and service was high quality, and the food and drinks were absolutely delicious! Photos: watermelon panzanella, oysters, summer vegetable ratatouille and louie burger, and strawberry martini and mangojito. We also loved the cucumber one crush. Highly recommend!
Restaurant was empty on on Sunday night. Maybe 4 other tables. New waitress, didn’t know a salad was an appetizer and should come out with the soups and other salad. Dumped fries on my purse. Really needs more training and better listening skills.
Hostess and Maya were lovely as well as the bartenders
I would definitely come back here maybe for the night time.
Kelly was such a wonderful server! She was so awesome and made our experience top notch. We loved her and will definitely be coming back to see her again!
Lively, attractive spot, but the noise level was outrageous.
Shouting necessary to communicate - not the greatest for middle aged or elder folk! The food was pretty good, wine expensive & mediocre. Server was nice, but the restaurant seemed understaffed and just returning to pre-pandemic demands - understandable.
Drinks were slower than expected but delicious when they arrived. Seemed a little understaffed in general but very friendly overall and happy hour prices are great.
Great place for drinks, any of the cocktails are great, and the atmosphere is undeniably appealing, however I would not recommend for dinner. I’ve visited three times, and every time I’m disappointed- there are WAY better places to dine in the city at the same if not better price point.
If you do end up going, calamari you can’t go wrong with, but you can go majorly wrong with the oysters (they’re an absolute joke) and the rabbit pappardelle.
Food was good, not great. Ambiance was awesome -- really cool place for a date.
Delicious mussels excellent service prices were very reasonable
Everything was great ! The food better than the dessert but we had a great experience overall I’m definitely coming back !
We had a great dinner at Louie Louie, delicious varied dishes, good service, nice space for having a conversation. Our table was in a far room, where we were able to talk and hear each other!) and linger.
Great food and service. My husband and I shared the Bacon Wrapped Dates to start. I had the Louie Wedge Salad and he had the French Dip. The food was outstanding. They even chopped the wedge salad for me in the kitchen. Great restaurant!
It is such a great vibe, it might be smart to put in sound absorption.
It was hot with no umbrella and food took long to come out.
Great food, very nice atmosphere. Only issue was taking forever to get drinks, otherwise would have gotten another round.
Needed some dinner on a day trip to Philadelphia and through a stroke of luck we chose Louie Louie. What a perfect place to end a lovely day! Great vibe, great food and great service. Totally enjoyable experience and I’ll be heading there the next time I’m in Philadelphia.
Food much better than our last visit, pre-COVID. Pear salad very fresh and tasty. Truffle fries scrumptious! Bread amazing.
Great corner table for a cute date. Drinks were amazing! And the food was good but small portions. Beautiful atmosphere and scenery. I would definitely go back!
Travel brunch date
..great happy hour
Wonderful dinner after touring Upenn. Service lovely and attentive. Roast chicken dish was exceptionally good-
Salmon with rustic grimich tasty.
Yummy food and great ambiance
After months of cooking, cleaning, endless dishes, a lunch at Louie Louie had finally given us the mini vacation we so desperately needed. Fabulous decor, interesting and surprising menu choices, clever cocktails, and lovely staff. Kelly was a delight, and made our meal memorable. The excellent moules frites, escargot au gratin, and mushroom ravioli were different and oh so delicious. We made reservations to come back before we even made it home, highly recommend.
The food here is amazing, we got the French onion soup, shrimp and grits, French dip sandwich, and the roasted beet salad and it was all just so good. The staff here is also very kind, which I appreciate since sometimes when you go somewhere that looks very nice the people can be a little lackluster. Great experience, will be returning soon!
Food is great and the service was good as well.
Cool place and interesting menu, but the food just lacked a certain something. Presented nicely, but the taste was only fair - perhaps the combination, seasoning or freshness of ingredients was not up to the test. Service very good, though.
The open concept bar/restaurant did make it a bit loud at first but when the large group left the bar it was much quieter and quite peaceful. The eggplant and chicken dishes were fabulous!! Will definitely eat here again!
good service, excellent food and convenient location
Very cute place! I loved the ambiance and our waitress, Erica was exceptional. The “White Cosmopolitan” was SO tasty! As was the sorbet! We only ate appetizers(calamari and oysters), no complaints there. I’d highly recommend this place.
Everything was lovely except WE were seated near a person who brought his dog and the dog’s hair was blowing everywhere in the outdoor seating area.
We reserved outdoor seating, but when we were sat we were directly in the sun (their 2 tops were not shaded only the tables for the larger parties). We requested to be moved and were sat inside, but our service was slower (I think it was because they didn't reassign our waitress, so she was monitoring tables outside as well as our table inside). Food came out quickly (not delivered by our waitress). Drinks, refills, and the check handled by our waitress was slow. The food was delicious. The portion sizes were moderate (not fine dining small) and not so huge you couldn't possibly eat it all.
We had a wonderful experience with Louie Louie when planning a special graduation event in the Rose Room. Casey in particular was incredibly helpful and responsive during the planning process.
My wife and I had reservations and were seated in about 5 minutes. Our server Alex was great. Food was delicious my first time ever eating escargot. Drinks were mixed well, we enjoyed our experience their.
Food and music were amazing!
Servers were very rude and had an attitude because of our food restrictions and vegetarian diets. Food was average and nothing special. They also gave us a horrible table and were unpleasant when we kindly asked for another one. Overall, the restaurant has nothing besides its aesthetically pleasing food. It is an overpriced restaurant that I would never recommend to anyone.
