I invited my sister-in-law to have lunch for her 85th birthday and I celebrated a 74th birthday on the September 12th. I have visited Louie Louie before and I love the ambience and the food is always great. Today was no exception and my guest enjoyed herself immensely. We received a special dessert surprise for our shared BD celebration with a candle. It was delicious and a delightful surprise. A Walden

The food and service were excellent. We especially appreciated not being rushed out after our meal (Sunday brunch) because we were dining with friends from Atlanta who we had not seen since before the pandemic. We’ll definitely return. The only minor issue was the background music which made conversation challenging at a table for four.

Very pretty restaurant. Food was average. Burger buns were stale and cold. Very heavy handed with the truffle oil on the fries. Server was nice but seemed new.

I and my guests have dined at Louie Louie many times. This day we found the food and service much improved over the past! Thank you! That said, I am still beyond annoyed that you charge to use a credit card. You are an upscale restaurant and should not charge your diners like this. It is unbecoming. You are better than this. This is the main reason I do not recommend your restaurants. I only came this time because of convenience.

Oh this place was incredible! The atmosphere was very welcoming, and also classy. The eggs Benedict was scrumptious and the mocktails were delicious, if you’re not a fan of alcohol. Definitely coming back here again!

We didn't know what to expect but were happily blown away by the quality of the food and service. Everything was cooked to perfection. We were visiting from New York City en route to an event. This will now need to be a place to revisit for the next trip into Philly.

The only time a leave a review is when something is bad BUT Louie Louie changed that! Food was delicious and services was great. We both had the classic steak and just all around good. Ambiance was nice and the music was a vibe. Date night, anniversary, bday, whatever I would recommend.

I’ve dined at Louie Louie multiple times and have had an amazing experience each time. Our most recent visit was for a work lunch, I had the oyster roll which I was top notch and my colleagues all enjoyed their sandwiches as well (turkey blt, chicken salad, and jambon buerre). Highly recommend all four!

Overall, it was a good experience, but was very surprised that they are charging $75 for Lobster. the waiter said $60 then changed it to $75. This is too expensive when compared to high end seafood restaurants. my wife was disappointed and changed her order.

Enjoyed my meal. I knew about credit card fee and paid by cash, but was still charged the 3% if using a credit card. Too small an amount to quibble over, but on principle it is not right.

This is a great place for brunch, dinner or just a cocktail. The interior reminds me of a French bistro with a lively atmosphere. The decor is really lovely and it has an air of sophistication. Our server, Shane, was so attentive and genuinely nice. The hostess was very engaging and made our party feel welcome. We never felt rushed and enjoyed our time there. The food for brunch was very good and there was a great variety of choices. I highly recommend this place. It's a gem in University City.

The staff is super professional and accommodating. They were very helpful with recommendations when I needed to substitute an item. The atmosphere is lovey. It’s great for a date night and right next to a hotel. The hosts were very kind!

Great atmosphere and service. I got the steak frites, ordered medium rare and came out perfect. Their Parmesan truffle fries are delicious. My friend got the crab stuffed lobster and loved it, they give him a whole lobster also served with the Parmesan truffle fries.

What o ordered was not what came to my table. The waitress brought me “a salad” that was simply over wet lettuce dripping in balsamic vinegar. Not tasty at all. Service was okay but not stellar. I have been here many times and this last time was the most disappointing. Won’t hurry back to eat there again n

Omg I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant ! From the decor , ambiance , staff front and back of house everyone was so kind . Our waiter Ali was excellent and very knowledgeable . The food was amazing and so were the cocktails . So many photo worthy dishes and sections within the restaurant . The perfect date night spot . 10 out of 10 for sure !
