Outstanding decor, friendly service, but our meals took forever to come out. Pizza was very good though, and we were given a dessert to make up for the delay. I guess we’ll have to give it another try sometime!
Where do I begin ... we are ALWAYS warmly greeted by Desiree at the hostess desk! Tonight was our anniversary and we chose to celebrate at one of our favorite restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. We were immediately escorted to our table where we enjoyed great service, food, drinks, a surprise dessert and a few laughs with other diners seated nearby. Very memorable evening!
Always excellent food service and atmosphere..Wine down Wednesday is the best
Food and service were great! Noise level was intense.
Could be some of the worst service we have ever received. Asked for plain bread and it never came. The food took over an hour after our order. People all around us came much later and left much earlier. When the food arrived our friend's lamb chops were cold and the wrong sauce put on his wife's pasta which was her main dish. There are far better options much closer to my house.
Waiter was amazing, food was amazing, overall wonderful experience! Loved the Italian vibe and menu, all the food was very delicious and authentic! Even ended the night with some italian dessert and limoncello! Would recommend to anyone!!
So loud inside, Will only stay if we get an outside table......
Came here for the first time for brunch. I ordered an avocado egg toast which was rather unexciting. I received my food less than 5 minutes after placing the order which is rather concerning. I ordered the bottomless brunch and never had an empty glass but also felt rushed to leave. Ambiance in the patio is great. Ambiance inside the restaurant is chaotic and overwhelming. Feels claustrophobic as there are tables upon tables tightly squeezed next to one another. Despite my first experience, I would be willing to return to try their regular menu as I’ve heard it’s well worth it.
I made a reservation for my 25th birthday brunch, about a week in advance. I love the backyard seating and was really hoping to be sat there. One of my friends arrived earlier than me and she was sat at a table in the front, rather than the back. It was VERY hot out in the front of the restaurant, so I went inside and politely asked if we could be moved to the back. I was immediately and rudely shut down by the hostesses and told there was no availability in the back. But when I had walked through the back from the parking lot, there were SEVERAL empty four-person tables that we could have easily been sat at. It’s not like we didn’t have a reservation that was made well in advance to our arriving to the restaurant and I had made note that it was for my birthday as well, not just a random brunch. Our server was very nice but he brought me a mimosa when I ordered a bellini, which I didn’t want to make a big deal about. But then he came by and topped off the mimosa without me asking (I didn’t order bottomless). It was all very awkward and I was melting with sweat. The food was amazing, as always, but I wish the atmosphere and the service matched it.
From the wait staff to management the service was impeccable and the attention to details was on point.
Delicious food and great service, love the location. Great selection on the menu
I took my mother and grandmother for brunch as a late Mother's Day celebration and they had a blast.
The drinks were delicious and plentiful for the price, the charcuterie and cheese board that we ordered was phenomenal- as was the quattro fomaggio pizza with sausage added. The only food item that missed the mark a little was the frittata di patate- the recipe before was far better, this version of a slice of frittata as opposed to a whole, smaller sized one, was a little too eggy and dense, so the flavors were not as pronounced. Also- the service from our server Robert was impeccable, as most servers are at Louie Bossi, however he did inform us his shift was ending so we cashed out our bill with him and tipped him. After not seeing him a while, we did decide to order one last round of drinks before heading out- it was a real pain to get a different server to wait on our table and one of the girls even rolled her eyes at our request for drinks- that we paid for, and left a separate tip for! Overall this visit was just as lovely as all the rest, and I know that their brunch is insanely busy and popular, but to be scoffed at as a customer was a little off-putting.
Great food. Must try! It is a great night out
Terrific, always busy -reservations a MUST. Food is very good. Service is good to dry good depending on server and table load. Noise level is the only problem at this highly successful restaurant with unfinished ceilings and nothing to ABSORB the noise , it reverberates and echoes to make a constant din in the dining room.. to the point that it is hard to have a normal conversation tableside. Server was slow with bread after appetizer was ordered but otherwise was okay. Actually , we had to ask for it. Overall we would certainly return but not for any romantic reason.. group, brunch, weekday dinner , special (Loud ) occasion) YES Romantic :NO
Service beyond amazing tonight for Lasagna Night
The food was great and our server Marc treated us very well. The restaurant was great but I didn't expect how loud it was.
I went early so it was quiet. Service was wonderful. Mark had many good suggestions and was a very attentive waiter.
Went for my birthday with my wife. She made a reservation for 8pm but we went in early at 7pm and they still seated us with no problem. Our waiter was great! The ambiance, decor and food was fantastic! We will be coming back. :-)
Hostess are not kind. They were so rude. Too bad! I was expecting something different and a good experience, but I did not have a good time.
We come in from nyc twice a year and always make it part of our trip to frequent on a Monday night. Great time!
Best pasta I’ve ever had. Returning ASAP! Loved it here our waitress was extremely helpful, and the food was out of this world!
Wonderful mothers day dinner
Went for Mother’s Day our server was awesome and food was amazing!
No I won't recommend this to a friend. the hostess was very rude and seated 12 walk in customers to inside tables while we had a reservation and was placed outside. When asked to move inside, she told us our OpenTable reservation is for outside seating. She then stated it would be a "minimum 30 minute wait" to be seated inside. On previous visits, we would receive a visit by the floor manager asks about our meal, not this time. Simply horrible customer experience. Service wise, our waitress was outstanding and the food was very good but overpriced. Unfortunately the negatives outweigh the positives.
Authentic Italian food. Great food great service!
Great time. The hostess was great as she remember your name and the waiter was very professional as well. Food and atmosphere always great as well.
This was our second visit in 2 months. We had a great time! The food, service atmosphere was perfect.
Louie Bossi is always a hit, even on Mother’s Day where it’s the usual crowd x 2! Not sure how it is during the week but on the weekend I highly recommend making a reservation at least a week in advance. Ambiance is great, food is fresh and full of flavor and the vide is laid back.
We are locals who have gone to this restaurant many times. A few months ago my daughter found a fingernail on her gelato which was simply disgusting. Yesterday, Mother's day lunch once again My daughter found a long black hair on her pasta dish. Even though, the manager took care of both situations is simply not acceptable. I have to say the food is delicious you never know what you may find.
Great restaurant with fantastic food and excellent service
One of my favorite restaurants in Ft. Lauderdale. Never disappoints. Food & service are excellent. Request to sit in the outside terrace. You will love the ambiance. Fans keep it cool.
Amazing service, food, everything. Hadn’t been there before, but chose it for a Mother’s Day brunch (one day early) based on location and seeing the menu online. Could not have been more thrilled with the choice. Can’t wait to go back!
Louie Bossi is always a good choice for brunch or dinner. Service and food are on point!! I have brought my family here when they are on town multiple times and we still love it.
Always a great meal, easily the best pasta in town
Great food and a beautiful place !!!! Outstanding service !!!
While the ambiance was gorgeous and I have previously had great experiences here, my cousin got sick, most likely from the carpaccio, I noticed that an alert on one of the machines that refrigerate the meat was complaining about condensation so I think there could be some meat quality control issues.
Thank you Nia the bartender for making our evening enjoyable
