Louie Bossi Ristorante-Boca Raton
Great time with family - half way meeting point - service and ambience - but food was only average. Calamari Plancha felt raw and nothing like the same thing on Las Olas - same with Spaghetti with Clams - great clams but the sauce was 100% butter with nothing else. I recommend Fort Lauderdale location but not Boca
Love the restaurant. Young crowd and energetic. Great menu.
Celebrated my birthday and a friend’s birthday. As always the food and service was wonderful. Loved
Our birthday dessert!!!
Lamb chops are very good but the calamari in my dinner was tough.
We have dined at Louie Bossi's a couple of times now and each time we have experienced good service and quality food/beverage.
Noise level was very high. The Wednesdsy wine deal was great. The lasagna Wednesday special was good. The menu was interesting!
Everything was perfect . Creamed spinach and rigatoni bolognese was amazing . Disappointed that they had run out of their octopus because it’s fabulous . The recommended substitute of grilled calamari was very salty . All in all very fun great vibe . We will be back
Everything was great except there was a lot of traffic at the valet stand and they didn’t seem to be very organized. Also our entree was served to us while we were still eating our salad course. Poor timing on that.
Service was EXCELLENT! Homey and charming decor. Really good food and terrific bellinis. My 5th time and I’ll def be back!
My family and I dined here and everything was awesome. Especially our server J.D.
I had the rigatoni, my daughter had the pork ragu and my husband had the swordfish. We will definitely Be back.
Food was so-so for the price. Very noisy. Tables crowded together. I wouldn't go back.
A beautiful restaurant located in the center of Boca. Appreciated the decor and in house dry aged beef and charcuterie. Food was average and a bit disappointing considering my wife and I anticipated an awesome food experience. Service was friendly but very slow. And there was tons of staff. We found out by hearing another waiter speak to the table next to us several other additions to menu that our waiter neglected to mention. Which was unfortunate because we would have ordered them instead of what we chose, but things happen no big deal! Selected three salume made in house and fried calamari to start. Had a bone in ribeye and the bronzino fish of day, side of creamed spinach that just appeared to be sautéed spinach with garlic. All were ok, not awesome. The fish in particular was quite small and dried out. Uncharacteristic of a grilled whole fish. It appeared to have been filleted before they grilled it which would explain the dryness. Had a Negroni and wine with dinner. Plenty of management checking on tables. Which was very professional. I think in the future we would have a drink at the bar and maybe an appetizer. Definitely a very cool looking place. And very busy so they are doing many things right! I just expected the food be a bit better to reflect the restaurant and overall vibe. A++ for design and concept!
Met a friend for brunch which was a first as far as eating at Louie Bossie. As yummy as everything else I have eaten there. I wanted the frittata but they were out, which is ok as now I have a reason to go back. We all had the fried egg s and sausage. So much food! We ordered a side of bacon, no great shakes. Great toast! We had unlimited peach bilinis and alperol spritzers and the cookie platter for desert. Good food and good friends , you can’t beat that with a stick!
We had a great time dining at the resturant!. The drinks were pouring correctly (which to me, means heavy!) and the food was super great! Wonderful time.
Very nice decor but the food was very average. Too many other great Italian restaurants in Boca Raton
Food was great but portions are too small fir the price and everything always la carte it gets very pricey
The service and food was excellent! We celebrated our 1 year anniversary and were very well taken care of. Our server was so pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive. He even surprised us with a celebratory tiramisu, which was outstanding! We had a very nice memorable 1st anniversary dinner. It was perfect!
Fabulous food as always!
The foods is always good at Louis Bossi. You can’t go wrong with their homemade pasta and pizza.
Great lunch not too noisy
Incredibly good server and food
Food is delicious, fresh, and homemade. It is one of my favorite places for Italian. The service is always amazing
Noise was very high but great meal
We will return but not inside
Way too loud, even the servers found it hard to hear their the patrons, also very crowed with tables on top of each other
Salumi board was unbelievable. Great dry aged meats and cheese choices. Authentic Italian.
Pastas are homemade in house and cooked “al denti” perfectly.
Finished with Bronzino which had a nice crisp skin and seasoned perfectly.
Our waiter went above and beyond to make friends' birthday special and attended well to our needs.
We love Louie Bossi, it’s one of our most favorite restaurants!
The food was delicious, the decor is lovely and good service. I just wish it was less noisy. It’s hard to
have a conversation.
Service is always consistent and the food is always outstanding. Specials are always a must because they are usually too good to pass up.
It was my birthday and the waiter did everything to make it special.
Everyone enjoined their meal.
I had branzino and loved every bite.
Definitely a great place for any occasion.
We waited one solid hour for our food( a salad and a pasta dish). There is no reason why there was such a long wait. At the end of the meal the manager came over to apologize and she took off the 2 main courses but gave me a check for one iced tea for $4. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to make a scene in front of my business associate but I feel that to make me pay $4 when you comped the food was tacky and low class. If she recognized that they screwed up enough to comp the food she could have
comped one iced tea for $4. That was the right thing to do. It would have been different if we had expensive wine but I had an iced tea and my associate drank tap water. I have been here before at night and the noise level is so bad that none of us could hear each other. We decided never to return at night but after this lunch experience I won't return ever.
This was the worst meal I've had in years. We brought an out of town guest and we were embarrassed by the experience, frustrated, and stressed. This was completely different from earlier positive experiences we had at Louie Bossi. The key issue was that the restaurant's gas stoves were broken, so they couldn't make any pasta dishes. For that alone, they should have closed for the evening or told people about the issue before we were seated (very deceitful). Then it turned out they couldn't make chicken parmesan either which our guest had really wanted - that was actually why we chose the restaurant that night. Then our guest ordered a sausage dish which the restaurant came back to tell us they ran out of. The waitress was very snarky and unsympathetic about the whole experience, making believe it was all a non-issue. We also ordered a caesar salad which tasted very sour; it seems that is their flavor which is poor. We ordered a mushroom pizza which was also awful; they took it back and gave us a margherita pizza instead which had very thin soggy dough and way too much sauce. Service was poor too - we seemed to have 2 or 3 waiters rotating through, and none of them were that focused on our meal, plus they forgot some of what we ordered and we had to chase them down to get it; they really should write down the orders instead of pretending to memorize it. We did have a lamb dish that was decent and the salumi appetizer was decent too. But overall, an absolutely terrible experience.
Food was decent. A little overpriced. Expect the pasta to be cooked perfectly, it was on the soggy side.
The food was pretty good but our server let us run out of water a few times and did not bring the wine out with the meal. My date was very specific about it and asked for the glass shortly before the steak was ready. The server forgot. Also, the food took a very long time. Finally, it was very loud and difficult to hear the person across from you. They promote themselves as a very upscale restaurant with high prices but the service and food were not up to that level.
I felt the food was better when they first opened. It was a bit chaotic the night we were there. Limited menu.
Great culinary experience
Food was great, pastas were amazing! Try the rigatoni bolognese!
Great food, fair price, and perfect atmosphere!
Prime location, every bite was satisfying, and our server was very attentive.
Marcello was our server. He seemed to be busy with other tables, and we felt ignored. Took so long just to get our appetizer, which was only cheese. Food was good. Not sure if I would go back....nice atmosphere, the polenta was very good. Service just very slow.
