Louette's Byo and all of our staff are extremely excited to bring something new to Phoenixville, and hope to see everyone soon.
Fantastic and interesting made from scratch foods. Outside seating and BYO.
Food was fantastic. I recommend the bread and ravioli. The dessert was just ok. But definitely a great experience at Louette’s.
We had brunch which was outstanding. All 4 of us were favorably impressed. Food was delicious and well presented. We will definitely return for dinner.
Had a very nice evening sitting outside. Very nice outdoor environment. Food is as described small plates and portions but very well prepared.
Been several times hope Saturday was just an off night and not the start of a decline. Will go back in few months after menu change. House made Ramen is still incredible.
We were a table of 4 and each of us thoroughly loved our meals! The cauliflower soup was exquisite, the artichoke agnolotti were delicate and delicious and the sauce lemony - outstanding! I had the hangar steak with cremini mushrooms, which was cooked perfectly medium rare and was served over smoky mashed potatoes. Others had the soft shell crab, the pork butt steak, and the salmon. All were raving successes. We also enjoyed the spicy carrot cake and the brown butter cake for dessert. Honestly, this was one of the top 3 meals I have ever had. (On a par with Geoffrey Zakarian's Lamb's Club and Alex Guarnaschelli's Butter, both in NYC.) This thus far undiscovered restaurant is a true gem. Highly recommend!!
Third visit—-others were awesome but this was an incredible disappointment. The tasting menu offered a nice selection, but several of the choices were a bit flavorless—a bit bland. Broccolini first course was the most flavorful, mussels were quite bland, salmon as well. The service was DREADFUL—we were seated right away and then, despite the staff asking if we’d been “greeted” no one appeared to take our order. Our first server seem to disappear, when another came to ask if we’d be greeted, we informed her we’d like to order. She took our order, other staff brought our meals and then at the end of the evening our original sever reappeared. She seemed distracted and as if she really didn’t want to be there.
I think we’ll take this one off of our list——really a disappointing meal with dreadful service!
we’ve been a few times since it opened and loved our meals every time. try the sunday brunch we did today and it was great - are out on the patio!
Brunch and dinner are both fantastic! We have been back multiple times and couldn't recommend them more!!
The food was amazing. I had the hangar steak which was tasty but it went with these smoky mashed potatoes and the flavor was incredible. Had the ramen and bread- all amazing. Sat on the patio which was quiet, private and beautiful. Prices were perfect and service was flawless. Fit for foodies
We went on a pleasant Thursday evening and ate on the patio. We had the tasting menu and enjoyed every course. I had the cream of onion soup (the almonds made it special), the ravioli (my son's favorite course), the asparagus with poached egg (very simple but delicious), and the escargot (not your old-fashioned snails in a shell). I will say that you shouldn't expect this to be a quick meal; we arrived at 6:30 and left the restaurant after 8:30. And it's definitely on the expensive side. But I am enthusiastically recommending it to my friends as somewhere to get some truly elevated food.
Second time there. This time for mother’s Day brunch. Brought our two young daughters and the in-laws. Brunch menu was small but very well thought out. Poached eggs were perfect and the soft shell crab and croque madame were fantastic. We tried all three desserts on offer and were very happy. Coffee was excellent. Service was attentive and unassuming. We will be back!
What a profoundly delicious and unique dining experience. Every course was wave of heavenly rendezvous of flavors in my mouth. My date was also incredibly impressed by the ambiance and food. From the moment I walked in, I knew it was going to be an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend Louettes BYO to all of my many, many friends and if you are reading this wondering “should I go?” Drop everything you’re holding right now, grab a bottle of wine and come down to the classiest place this side of Phoenixtown. Remember the Louettes motto-“remember the 6 S’s - Service, Satisfaction, Salvation,Salivation,Smiles and Deliciousness
Outrageous food. Very reasonable for the quality of the food and experience. All the dishes were excellent and made from quality, local ingredients. We will definitely be back.
The food was innovative and delicious. I love the tasting menu structure and the quality and freshness of the food was even better than I expected. The balance of the ramen was mind blowing, and the asparagus dish was so good! I will definitely return and recommend to everyone i know.
Food was very good, dinner took approximately 3 hrs to complete. We are assuming the kitchen was overwhelmed. It was busy, but certainly not every table full.
Food and service were excellent. The dishes were unique.
Outstanding food and service! We love dining at Louettes!
Louette's was a lovely place to visit, and the reviews for dinner are great. When we visited for Easter brunch, it was their first time offering brunch, and there seemed to be some disorder behind the scenes. Food was good but pricey - brunch for two with no drinks shouldn't cost 75 with tip. Steak and eggs were excellent, though over easy eggs got cold quickly and deep-fried homefries lacked interest. And a little bit of salad or garnish wouldve made the plate a little less barren. We liked the ambience, the quiet, the music, the decor very much. Doubt we'll be back again for brunch though; we'll try dinner next time, where they've apparently distinguished themselves.
All four of us opted for the four courses for $45 option. Almost everything was excellent: our favorites included the broccolini, the ravioli with brown butter, peas, and tomatoes, the scallops, and a chocolate dessert. The one dud was the pickled vegetables. Service was a little clumsy but did not detract from an overall lovely meal.
The house bread, the ravioli, the ramen, the cauliflower and the hangar steak are perfect--with the hangar steak being something you'll never forget. The playlist sets the perfect tone and sitting on the porch is so relaxing.
Food was generally good, with highlights in the bread, broccolini, ramen, and well cooked proteins like hangar steak and pork tenderloin. However, it was inconsistent, some dishes very thoughtful, others just thrown together, like a well-cooked piece of halibut on what looks like a pile of undressed arugula and cucumbers. The portion sizes were awfully small for the price.
Service was the biggest problem. Champagne flutes were left on the table all night, water was not refreshed but for one time and by request. Dessert wasn't offered. And it was a relatively slow night.
Despite some good dishes and an interesting menu, an overall disappointing experience for us.
The food was amazing & our server was very nice! New favorite place for date night!
Interesting menu, innovative choices, great food
Our third meal there and another awesome experience! Thank you so much for great food and amazing service!
Always a great experience at Louettes. Great coffee and dessert as well.
Fantastic place.!!They do everything well.
Absolutely amazing! We choose the 4 for $45 and happy we did, this was the way to go. Considering there was 2 of us we were able to basically try and enjoy 8 different plates. A must if you are looking for a wonderful night!
The food was outstanding. Small plates were perfect size.
Great restaurant, amazing food, excellent service. Highly recommend getting the 4 course sampler.
Exceptional food. On par with Birchrunville Store Cafe. I will be going back, and I will be recommending Louette's to others. They even have valet parking--so handy on crowded Bridge Street in Phoenixville.
Delicious and foodie worthy! The amazing goat cheese filled ravioli with a browned butter sauce and ripe tomatoes was simply phenomenal! Use their delicious warm homemade bread to sop up the browned butter sauce, you won’t regret it! The charred broccolini was exceptional with just enough goat cheese and Romesco sauce to make it seriously decadent. The skate was perfectly prepared, served with a brown sauce that was very mild yet flavorful. I had the chicken breast with a carbonara sauce and egg noodles with fresh mushrooms. It was truly to die for! My favorite dish was the ravioli. The meal was quite reasonably priced mainly because it’s a BYOB!
Food and service were excellent. Will definitely be back soon!
Loved the tasting menu. Allows you to have a sampling of four very different options. Pasta was delicious as was the cauliflower steak. Least favorite was the torn scallops. Membrane wasn’t removed. No one wants to eat that chewy piece! Will go back and choose a different item. Just know that it’s EXTREMELY loud. Can be hard to hear the person across from you. All in all it’s a nice addition to popular Phoenixville.
I think our experience was accurately reflected in a number of the other reviews I've seen. Loutettes can be a contender in the P-ville restaurant scene, but they should consider creating more value for customers re their tapas portions. We are avid tapas fans, and prefer this approach to the traditional big main course based approach (we'll almost always share a main). However, if we drop $100 for two of us (food only), I really don't expect to be hungry enough to order a pizza 30 minutes after i finish the meal. While the menu is creative with a good range of interesting choices, the execution lacks somewhat. Its not bad, its just hard to justify what you get for the money. Premium Tapas pricing should deliver a premium experience - either by ingredient quality or "food as art" presentation which they did not achieve. For the money, I have to say Majolica is the clear choice of the two. Don't get me wrong - if these guys up their game, and figure out how to leave patrons feeling satisfied they could have real staying power.
Awesome environment with exceptional service. The menu changes every season and is uniquely creative. Holiday chef menus are really something special.
Food was delicious and the ambiance was great. Quiet little restaurant and the service was perfect. Our waitress answered all our questions and made suggestions based on our questions. We will be back and would highly recommend Louettes!
A great concept for this area. Food was excellent. Will definitely be back to try different selections.
