Started off well but service went down hill. I don’t usually speak badly about service but besides the errors the attitude towards pointing those errors out was poorly received. Waited 24 minutes for a bottle of wine to be opened after asking twice. Water was poured into a one glass half full with white wine. One Desert came and it was wrong. When pointed out that the desert was wrong we were told it wasn’t. The correct desert came out 5 minutes later but the other couple still hadn’t received theirs. We asked about it and a wrong desert was brought right out. At this point it was ridiculous. The correct desert came out and we asked for the bill. Mistakes happen. Nobody is perfect. Waitstaff shouldn’t dismiss errors or argue with customers. After the second desert was brought out incorrectly the waitress realized we were given another table’s deserts . “Sorry” never left her lips. It was disappointing.

This will be my last time at Loucas. Sad, I had my rehearsal dinner here in 2017, and we have hosted several repasses here even one in September of 2024. My friend and I had reservations tonight and were sat downstairs. Top level wasn’t busy. There was one waiter for the entire downstairs who was running around like he was on fire. We felt so rushed the entire time. Should have known when the waiters assistant and took the tongs, got a piece of bread and used the BREAD TO MOVE THE MENU OFF THE PLATE - and then served it to my friend. She was speaking to the waiter while this was happening. No patience, and quite frankly that is disgusting to put a piece of bread and the tongs you are using on a community menu that tons of people touch. We ordered tomato mozarella. No joke, it was two slices of tomato and two of mozzarella. Some green salad on the side and about four red peppers. Complete waste of money. Should be illegal to serve that as an appetizer. I asked for olive oil because the butter was pretty much frozen, and pretty quickly after I received it, the waiter asked for it back and seemingly brought it into the kitchen. I had chicken parm, it was genuinely the worst I’ve ever had at a restaurant, no joke. It tasted like baked chicken with watery sauce on it. I’ve had better at a pizza place. Again, for $30+ you’d think it would be good. My friend didn’t even know what was in her dish because it was a special and she tried to clarify it several times but the waiter was running through it like again, he was frantic, fast and it was just too much. Still hungry I ordered a peanut butter dessert and cappuccino. Didn’t finish either. Oh but don’t worry, the dessert tray was being used upstairs so it delayed that explanation. Top level has priority with everything. Dining room upstairs was empty upstairs when we left (shock). Would love my $70 back I wasted.

Always wonderful with so many exciting choices. Danise and Melissa are amazing servers who make the evening special. The regular menu offers many choices and the specials are always tempting. We had the soft shell crabs which were perfectly cooked.

LouCas was my favorite restaurant till this last dining visit for Mother's Day. I think under the new management, they also changed to a new chef? My husband and my son ordered linquine with clam sauce and it tasted bland and the clams did not taste fresh. My husband had ordered this dish before in LouCas and it was good then, but not this time. Very disappointed.

We have been going to LouCas for a long time. Food is always consistent and love the fact that it is a BYOB establishment. Our server, Anthony, was very attentive and friendly. Even though there were birthday and Communion celebrations going on, there was not a lack of attention given to the diners in the rest of the restaurant.
