In Provence, a region in southeastern France, “Lou Pécou” is the term for the peduncle, or stalk, that holds a cluster of fruit. Our grandparents taught us that when in the kitchen, you must start with the freshest and finest of ingredients. They had a unique way of feeling and picking lou pécou, to know if the fruit and vegetable is local, ripe, and fresh. We look forward to passing you these traditions and learnings through our pizzas.

    One of my all time favourite pizza experiences! Partner and I had the meatballs (divine) and the fennel salad to start. Tried their Vivante pizza which was very unique (included strawberry jam - first for me on pizza, pistachios, a garlic pesto, and taleggio cheese). The vivante looked liked a work of art, and tasted amazing. Also tried the Lou Fada pizza which was a hearty classic Italian pizza that offered a lot of satisfaction. Cocktails are really nice too! The chef and staff were all very welcoming, and we saw the chef going table to table and asking how everyone’s experience was going. Great restaurant that puts a lot of effort into their food and dining experience, and can’t wait to go in again!

    This was our first time there, and we will definitely be back! Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The dishes took no time to arrive - the Don Camillo pizza, meatballs in tomato sauce and déesee verte salad were all outstanding! Can't wait to bring friends to this gem!

    The best pizza! And the owner was very passionate, friendly and came out to check on the tables. Very nice staff and ambiance. Amazing ingredients and lots of options in the menu!

    Overall we really enjoyed the dining experience. My wife has a gluten allergy and thought the GF pizza was one of the best she’s had. The service was great, menu selection was impressive and all of the menu items we tried were impressive esp the olives and risotto apps.

    All the food, particularly the pizzas, was outstanding. The Service friendly and knowledgeable. This is a must go when in Halifax and if you are not in Halifax it's a reason to visit Halifax. The atmosphere was busy and bustling but not overpowering. A great place to take the family and a great place for a first, second or third date!! You will want to share the food as you want to sample as much as possible.

    booked a reservation at 730pm for my fiancée's birthday, arrived and they did not have a table for us (there were empty tables but they were also "reserved" which did not make semse as to why our party had to wait), after 40 minutes of waiting they managed to seat us. My fiancée's food was cold when it arrived and we were served room temperature water for the majority of the dinner. servers were nice.

    One of Halifax’s true hidden gems. This pizzeria, run by a passionate French pizzaiolo from Marseille, serves some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The dough is beautifully fermented, the toppings are original yet perfectly balanced, and every ingredient is top-quality and often locally sourced. I went on a Monday evening and the place was packed—there was even a lineup, which says a lot. You can really feel the chef’s dedication—from his collaboration with local farmers to his humble, welcoming presence in the kitchen. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience. Highly recommended if you value craftsmanship, flavor, and food made with heart. -Must try agnolotti coffee pasta filled with mangalista porc on a demi glace -truffula pizza what a combination of flavours.🥰🥰 Very good selection of desserts and artisanal icecream.
