   Even though this is a known tourist spot, it still was a fantastic dinner. The Malnati Chicago classic did not disappoint. Amazing pizza - sausage and cheese ratio was on point! The bow tie pasta with Lou’s sausage was a great appetizer as well. What made the experience special was the service. Our server Daniel was exceptionally polite and took care of us the whole evening. Would recommend this location in the Gold Coast area to anyone visiting for the first time that wants to get the deep dish experience.

   Server was good but alittle stretched thin (not necessarily his fault). Great food and vibe. Food came out in good amount of time and hot. I would recommend it absolutely.

   Grest pizza never had chicago butter crust deep dish before. Reservation important. Pizzas were a bit slow but appetizer came out quickly. Great cookie dessert .

   El restaurante y la comida muy bien pero dentro del restaurante me abrieron la bolsa y me robaron cartera y documentos. El personal fue muy amable pero no hubo nada que pudieran hacer. Así que mucho cuidado por ahí

   We got a Lou and a Malnati pizza, and both were excellent! Make sure you order them right away, though, because they take around 40 min to cook!

   We sat in the wintergarden inbetween inside and on the street, which was not so noisy but still warm enough at that particular night. Very friendly server, good beer selection and of course great pizza

   My fiancé and I had a 5pm reservation, the staff seated us in the back area at a table for 2. Our server, Angelina introduced herself and asked us what we wanted to drink, we both ordered a glass of Chardonnay and she said you both look like a very happy couple! We smile and told her about us flying from Fort Myers Florida to Chicago to pick up our wedding bands from New York Jewelers on Wabash and showed her our wedding bands. She said that’s great and she told us she loved romantic stories like ours. She came back with our chardonnay’s and then asked what do we want to eat. My fiancé ordered The LOU deep dish small and I ordered a cheese, sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, and black olive medium thin crust pizza. Both of our pizzas tasted fantastic! My fiancé ate all of her pizza except for one small section and I ate all of my pizza except for two pieces. After we were done eating, Angelina came and picked up our plates, we were sitting there talking and drinking our wine when all of a sudden Angelina came back, but instead of bringing us a check, she told us that she went back and told her manager about our romantic trip to Chicago and the management told her to offer us a free dessert. We ordered a delicious tiramisu dessert. It was chocolate and the plate had little chocolate syrup, dripped hearts on it. We are so blessed to have Angelina relay our romantic story to her management. She was/is a fantastic server, so Thank You Lou malnati‘s for hiring  Angelina and the rest of your wonderful staff. I would recommend Lou malnati‘s Gold Coast location for fantastic pizza dinners and good drinks. It’s a wonderful restaurant!
