I love Lou's , I return each time I come to Chicago, regardless of the location. I only had one issue when it came to this location: -Hosts gave our table to another group a minute or two before we got there, then denied where we wanted to sit even though it was specified even on the reservation (outside). Yet when 3 seniors came up and didn't like the table they were given, the host simply followed them to the table of their choice and made it happen. But food quality and ambiance is always 1000%

Always solid food. I brought non-Chicagoans, so it was important for it to be stellar and they loved it! I just wont tell which pizza they enjoyed more. :)

We booked last minute and had a table in the front porch area which I didn't really like and the chairs weren't particularly comfortable BUT the food was great especially the bowtie vodka pasta and the ceasar salad and the deep pan pasta which was basically everything we had. The service was very good too.

Gluten free crust SUPER difficult to cut. Staff was very loud while cleaning tables and moving chairs leading to everyone in the room looking. Caesar salad was very good. Server was lovely and attentive.

Even though this is a known tourist spot, it still was a fantastic dinner. The Malnati Chicago classic did not disappoint. Amazing pizza - sausage and cheese ratio was on point! The bow tie pasta with Lou’s sausage was a great appetizer as well. What made the experience special was the service. Our server Daniel was exceptionally polite and took care of us the whole evening. Would recommend this location in the Gold Coast area to anyone visiting for the first time that wants to get the deep dish experience.
