The deep dish Buttercrust lived up to the hype! The personal pan pizzas were the perfect choice! The service was lacking. Our waitress took our order then we didn’t hear from her for 30-35 minutes until our pizza came out. She simply thanked the food runner. Then she came back once to say “How’s it taste?”. We never got drink refills.

You have to have deep dish in Chicago. The fresh tomato flavor of Lou’s sauce is really nice. Best of the local deep dish IMHO. Not a value, however, and not a fun or cozy atmosphere but good food.

I wanted to love it because Lou Malnati is supposed to be all the rave. However our server had NO personality at all. Then it was no air conditioning at least it must not have been working. Just okay for me.

Our server was not attentive. We waited a while before giving our order. Were never asked about refills or additional drinks. Our family salad sat on our table for at least 10 minutes before receiving plates. Our cheese pizza was overcooked and dry. It was so hot there, we could not wait to leave. I understand it was a Saturday and busy, but that's Chicago!

First time here and it was very good. The wings and meatballs were excellent. We had a deep dish and the pepperoni was delicious. Cohen, our waiter, was excellent!!

Excellent tastes as always. Somewhat narrow aisle. There was a biting-tried fly or something. No harm, just bother. Next time? Of course, I am willing to introduce this place to my friends who are the first time visiting Chicago.

We arrived earlier than the reservation time and still waited past the booking, before seated, they kept telling me we’re still getting the table ready for like 30mins, instead of communicating effectively. the waiter was not welcoming, like he didn’t want to be at work or overwhelmed. The restaurant temperature wasn’t comfortable it was hot. I had a hand held fan to try to keep cool. And it was my son’s 17th birthday. When the crew sang happy birthday it wasn’t pleasant , I was very disappointed.
