Lotus Bar and Grill
Me and my colleague both ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh. We enjoyed our meal because the meat was tender and the sauce was flavorful.
If you are into home cook meal, this is the place to go. Their servers are friendly and will help you in deciding what you might want to try. All their food is good. Their Kheer which is a rice pudding is amazing. It is a MUST to try. They have buffet everyday at a very reasonable price of $9.99 which is really a good deal. In addition, they also give out coupons that you can use for lunch and dinner. Lookout for these coupons.
I will definitely come back with my family and get the buffet. That way, they can get the chance to try if not all, most of what's in their menu.
1st-time diners - great menu recommendations from the host, followed by prompt and timely service and dellcious food!
We had a delicious dinner. The staff was very accommodating as we added another diner late. They were very attentive and friendly.
A hidden gem. Outstanding food. Unusual menu. Friendly service. Have been here 4 times and ordered various things from the menu. The food is consistently great!
Had the lunch buffet. It was great! A very nice selection of foods that catered to meat and non-mest eaters and included a healthy dessert made of beets that was fantastic! The buffet was very reasonably priced as well.
A creative, modern take on Indian cuisine by a well-trained chef! We came with a party of 11 so there was lots of sharing, all of it delicious. Grilled lamb chops were a stand out. All dishes are cooked to order and you can name your heat level.
Leave room for dessert with the unusual beet root halwa and a rice pudding so good I couldn't stop.
While my husband enjoyed his lamb, my garlic noodles with chicken were just ok. There was not enough chicken in the noodles and I couldn’t taste the garlic. The setting looked nicely modern and minimalist, but space looked relatively small. Suited for parties of 2, but seems like one would feel cramped if part of a party of more than 4 at a seating.
This is a great gem in downtown Bethesda. Cocktails and mocktails were really good. For apps, the wild wings and spinach-artichoke cheese balls were also good. Olive naan was delicious, and entrees of lamb rogan josh, butter chicken and tandoori murg were traditional favorites. Look forward to our return.
Thoroughly enjoyed. Everything was delicious. Had a yummy fresh cocktail too. The owner was present and stopped at our table. Friend and warm atmosphere . The perfect spot.
