   Very cute lovely location and food was great. Only issue was the service. Our waiter was fairly inattentive - took about 20 minutes from when seated till when he came to serve us and take order - he apologized each time he came to the table that he was sorry to have been so long but jus tbecause you say you are sorry doesn't mean it was any less okay that we had to wait. Same thing happened with waiting for the check. Why do I have to sit there for 10 minutes if you have taken the plates and we have told you no coffee and no dessert? Thankfully, you can pay on your bill with an app. Having to wait for this dude to take my card and then process it was likely gonna be annoying.

   We enjoyed a long lingering lunch with impeccable service even when the restaurant was to capacity. The meal was perfectly timed and delicious.

   Just lovely. The atmosphere is transporting and the food is delicious. The service is exceptional.

   This was second visit and it was beyond our already great expectations! Alex was an amazing server and Castro was the best. The first time we went in December he made this amazing mezcal fig drink and unfortunately they didn’t have it this time around but he actually went in the basement and got the ingredients and made it for me, it was an amazing thing that he definitely didn’t have to do, so sweet. You would never know how amazing the food is here because it’s such in a random spot on Lexington but everyone that loves real Italian HAS to try this place! My boyfriend is a Roman Italian Chef so you know I’m telling the truth here.. They made my birthday lunch very memorable, so we’re going to keep visiting them every time we come to New York!

   Really great authentic Italian food, everything was super fresh. Cod livornese was best I’ve had. Really excellent linguine with clams, like I’ve had in Amalfi coast. Servers really nice and so attentive but not overbearing. 👍🏻👍🏻

   I've never been a fan of Italian food, and my husband convinced me to try one more time here at L'Osteria. It was amazing. Genuinely, the pasta was spectacular, the sauce was savory and flavorful, the olive oil and bread starter was delicious, the Caesar salad was the most unique I've had, and we were fortunate to have the seat right by the front window on a rainy day. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive and really made the experience feel comfortable and pleasant. We'll eat here again on our next visit.
