   This was my second time and my first experience end of December 2023 was excellent. My son and I shared a hot Mezze for starter, very average some meat was very dry. We waited more than half an hour for our second course. My cream chicken with mash potatoes was very stuffy. My son had prawns in a sauce hardly any vegetables contrary to the description in the menu. I had a small glass of house wine and my son a coke the bill came to £70. I had to ask three times for a glass of water and similarly for the bill . I mentioned to the waiter that I was disappointed by the meal he did not seem to care. To put a finer point on the situation apart from another table of 11 people the restaurant was empty it is all the more noticeable when it is such a large venue The set menu which was lovely in December is no longer an option. Charging 12.5 per cent for the service when it is so poor is appalling

   A lovely place, the chap serving us was great … very helpful! The food is very tasty, the Calamari starter was a little disappointing but the rest was really flavoursome & I enjoyed it.

   The food and atmosphere was great and service was good. The issue was we were told the table needed to be returned after 2 hours and we didn't get our main course til 1 hour 5 mins in. We still hadn't seen the magician...so I had to asked someone to get them to come and perform at our table. They did 3 tricks and were very good and finished 5 mins before our 2 hours were up. I don't mind a 2 hour window but it would have been more relaxing if the main course had been earlier and I hadn't had to ask for the magician. Also one reason we like going is they have no alcoholic gin. We got told there was a function last night and they had run out. To be honest someone could have gone up to Sainsbury's to get it. Disappointing! Also, they have stopped serving draft beer which feels annoying and profit focused. Really like the restaurant and food and ambiance - but draft beer, quicker service with the main and having no alcoholic gin are key for us if we are going to keep coming here.

   Mothers’ Day outing. Warm, generous, attentive and fabulous food. Could not have asked for better.

   The food was really good, the bread we had at the starter was just fantastic. Lamb Kofte and chicken shish were amazing, will definitely go again.

    Friendly, professional and calm staff, nice ambience and very good food. Not cheap..but worth it thankfully
