Los Pinos Ranch Vineyards
We nice evening on the patio. Live music, nice wine and the Tapas plate vigor two was perfect.
The setting is very nice, and the wines are pretty good for East Texas. The food was another story, it is very overpriced for something pretty much straight off the SYSCO food truck. We expected something like Kiepersol or Enoch's, and when we arrived the visual appearance did not disappoint. We tried several wines and they were good, just not excellent. Then the food arrived, the menu looked appealing and we ordered Fried Green Tomatoes, Brochetta and Bacon Wrapped Steak Bites. When the tomatoes arrived they were literally the same ones served at any other restaurant. The Brochetta was a little better, but nothing more than a small slice of tomato, a basil leaf and some cheese melted on a piece of baguette. The Steak Bites were good, tender and tasty.
We loved the chicken fried steak (we had to ask for the specials), and so was the burger. The people were friendly, but the service was a little lacking. The white wine selection was not great. Prices were reasonable.
Went for our anniversary and had an amazing time. Hadn’t been there before but will definitely go back.
Los Pinos Vineyards is a fun place for a group or a couple. Food and wines are great! Atmosphere is awesome. I would highly recommend for a fun time!
A hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. The drive to the winery will make you think you took a wrong turn and heading into the back woods. However it is well worth it! From the moment I arrived I felt welcomed. I arrived an hour early for my reservation and they were able to accommodate me. Nikki showed me my table and then personally walked me to the tasting room as I indicated I wanted to “try before I buy”. There Heather guided me through the wine selection, while also providing local tidbits. I finally settled on “Rosie the Riveter”. Per Nikki’s suggestion I went with the Pig & Fig Pizza, followed by the dessert I was told people drive from Dallas to get —- the Menage. Both were delicious. I can’t thank Nikki and Heather enough for making my visit memorable. Bonus—- on Friday nights they have live music in the patio.
there is inside or outside seating. We have done both and enjoyed both. Great starters! Food can be fancy or casual. Worth the drive to find it!!!
The wine and food were wonderful. Great music and great vibe. I wish I had known about it years ago.
As always the wine was very good at Los Pinos. Me & my wife had one of the specials which was grilled Mahi-mahi and it was good. I probably would have tried the grilled steak special but at $42/person it was way overpriced compared to good steakhouses in the general dining area. Would like to see more comfort food items added to the main menu!
Great food (tapas for two, fig & pig pizza, salted caramel gelato) and wine (sangria fresca, bottle of ‘17 Collage) on the patio with live jazz by Purple Velvet Fox.
Every time we go to Los Pinos it’s amazing.
The wine is always wonderful at Los Pinos, would like to see grilled steaks, chicken, & fish be added as a permanent menu choice along with the the weekend specials.
This is a very nice place for dinner. It’s a bit pricey, but that’s standard for this type of dining.
What a great place for East Texas. Food is good and the wine even better. Hard to find but when you get there it is really a nice place. Vineyards can be seen from the covered patio plus live music. I would highly recommend it to all. Enjoy
Los Pinos has become a new favorite place of mine. The last two years, my friends and I have celebrated my birthday there. The scenery is beautiful, and the food is outstanding. Considering that I have a late summer birthday, it’s a little warm inside, but overall it is a wonderful place to relax and celebrate! All of the food is well prepared and fresh, and the wine list is extensive and full of flavor! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!
We wish they’d have more shareables like they used to. Not enough gluten free options. The service was not good this time. Our waitress repeatedly forgot to bring things to the table. We had to ask several times for things that we requested. No apologies from staff.
We are new to Pittsburgh but love wine so we had to check Los Pinos out. The wine is good, not great, but the food was good & a fun experience overall. We will return for sure!!
Loved it, will be going back. Food was great, wine was good. Loved the setting.
I’ve been to Los Pinos multiple times and am even a wine club member, I absolutely love it, but for some reason last night when I came with a group of friends the service we got was awful. We saw our waitress maybe twice. And another waitress who helped us seemed like her temper had a short fuse. After we ate we had to call over a waitress who wasn’t even ours to get service because we hadn’t seen our own in at least half an hour. We ordered dessert that wasn’t even put in to be made, so another 30 minutes later we got up and went to the bar and cancelled it and just decided to pay out. Not sure what went haywire with the service this time around. Hopefully it was a one time deal.
Had a great time. Took my wife and sister in law who loved it . Thanks
The music was at just the right level that you didn't have to tell out your conversation. Tapa platter was wonderfully displayed. Used to have a better selection of meats. However, I was very disappointed that the wine cost almost double if I had bought it a selective store outside the winery.
Great atmosphere, beautiful surroundings. The live music is not too loud and you can easily carry on a conversation with the person you are dining with. Love this venue!
Great food and wine. Loved the fish and chips!
I wish the flies could be control. They were everywhere.
My girlfriend and I had a lovely time in this beautiful environment, with great wine and an absolutely stellar Kobe beef burger. The chipotle mayo was amazing! Can’t wait to return and try some more of their bottles.
Beautiful setting. Outstanding food. Impeccable service. One of our favorite places. We’ve never been disappointed.
Fantastic. Enough said.
We love this place but this was not a pleasant experience. They have adopted a stray cat and they allow it to roam freely. I know it’s in the country but put it in a pet carrier or somewhere when people are dining. The cat ended up jumping onto our table. The cat has been there the last few times we dined there. The membership discount doesn’t ever seem to work correctly.
We love going out to Los Pinos! Great food, atmosphere, and wine selection.
Peaceful and relaxing environment. Even sitting outside in the heat, it was comfortable with fans that were not loud. Food was great especially the bacon wrapped steak bites.
Our 2nd time here- so much fun!
Both times tho they lead us straight to the back . Just wondering if it has anything to do with booking on line. We did move tables when we got there to accommodate all the food and snacks we ordered.
We will definately go again soon.
We miss the old menu and the quality level of the food has dropped since last year. For the love of Pete please get some more comfortable chairs for the patio.
This place never disappoints. The service and ambiance is always amazing! The food is exquisite. You will not regret coming here!
I ordered my steak medium rare. It came well done. I sent it back and it returned almost raw. The wine and atmosphere is top notch. Stick with wine and the cheese tray and you will be extremely satisfied with your trip to this winery.
Great music. 45th anniversary. Could have a larger menu.
A real gem. We loved the artist!
We had a fabulous time; perfect for the family.
I love Los Pinos and had friends in town this weekend that I knew had to go! We had the best time together and they were as impressed as I always am. Hands down my favorite place in East Texas!
Menu too limited.
Beautiful vineyard! So relaxing on the patio listening to live music. Food is amazing, service is great and love the wine!
Reservation was made through OpenTable for outdoor seating, but when we arrived we were seated inside. I explained we reserved seating for outdoors, but was told sometimes when reserving online they do not always guarantee seating outside and there was nothing that could be done. Then asked waitress if we could sit outside since reservation was for outside and was told we would be on a waiting list. The entire time we were there, there were three open tables right outside the window. By the time we finished dinner they came to ask if we wanted to sit outside. The wine and food were good, but don't think we will be back.
