   I was VERY disappointed with the quality of the food. After a week in Barcelona, eating in many places and enjoying every meal, I was sure that 4.8 stars at what is a historical restaurant would be a great way to close out our trip with our last dinner before flying out the next morning. Terribly disappointing. Wait staff was rude (and there were plenty of open tables), the meat was mostly fat and greasy and initially undercooked/pittsburgh style before being recooked and then overcooked, the prawns were tasteless. I’ve booked and posted on OpenTable many many times and this is the only negative review I’ve ever given.

   Excellent food in a unique atmosphere with the kitchen being open plan. The team are brilliantly organised both chefs and waiting staff. Highly recommend if you want something a little different.

   A fantastic experience in a restaurant that has been around for 180 yrs. You get to walk past the kitchen as you wind your way to your table. The food and drink were spot on and the service quicker than expected. Would recommend highly for a once in a lifetime chance to experience a true Barcelona icon

   Such a cute restaurant. We loved the food and the service was amazing. It’s family owned and it’s been with them I believe 6 generation. We ordered the seafood paella and croquetas! Amazing amazing!
