Los Arroyos Mexican Restaurant & Bar
We offer a full bar including an extensive selection of premium margaritas and tequilas. Tequila flights featured seasonally.
This was out third visit and it was a bit different from our past visits, the margaritas were so spicy that we could hardly drink them and they sat us near the windows by the bar at some tables that were not comfortable to sit at, I would say they were brought in from the patio outside as they were plastic wood looking slat tables and chairs that were not what was expected for the rest of the atmosphere, and we brought a friend with us who had never been, and we talked it up beforehand so we felt bad afterwards about our experience!
Perfect as always!
Nearly 45 minutes and we received no food nor explanation. We will not return.
The ambience was fabulous as always I’m from Chicago area and the Mexican food here is the best
What a great find! Great food, great service and great atmosphere! I would highly recommend!
Los Arroyos was, as usual, quite good, a bit upscale Mexican food. One of our favorites, the Chilis Rellenos, are the best in town since Cafe Santa Fe closed some years ago. Our server was very good, ensuring that we made our eight o'clock performance at the Tarkington. The service has been uniformly good during our two visits to date. The only complaint was that my companion's pork was a bit tough. My steak enchiladas were good. We had no time for desserts this visit.
Good food, great service and amazing people! Makes for a very nice evening.
Family get together
First time for lunch. Chips and salsa very good and not spicy. Enchilada were flavorless. Grilled skirt steak soft tacos were good. Will give it another try.
Great food, service and ambiance... every single time we visit this restaurant we have a great time.
Excellent food and terrific service. Rather loud, and certainly not a place for a quiet evening with someone special. Highly recommend it for really good Mexican food!
We enjoyed an excellent meal. The waiter was great, offering explanations on their unique menu items and suggestions. He even brought some hotter salsa samples to try. Our entree selections were great and we really enjoyed the queso appetizer he suggested. Service was pretty quick, although that may have been because with a 6:30 reservation we were a little ahead of the rush. The only minor issue was that the two-top table was just too small for all of the dishes and other things on that were on the table.
Everything! Perfect as usual!
Service, food and drinks were A1. Wait staff was outstanding.
I was disappointed with the crab enchiladas as there was zero crab flavor or meat, seemed like just a bunch of fillers. Also, the Aroyos margarita was sweet with no tequila flavor.
We have been to Los Arroyos many times. Always excellent. This time we brought a couple from outside the US to try more "authentic mexican" food. Everything was tasty and delicious. The only issue was our appetizer not being brought on out before the meal. The manager handled things quickly and was very generous. That is how you treat customers!!
Awesome food great service (Elizabeth) and great environment. Thank you
Always a great meal with fantastic servers!
Wonderful dining experience and very welcoming pleasent staff and management.
Always delicious, quality food and drinks. We enjoy the cozy atmosphere.
First time at Los Arroyos. Crowded and loud, but that is because the food is very good. I would dare say this is high end Mexican food. Best since La Margarita left Meridien for Fountain Square. Burritos and fajita are huge. Margie’s are good but a little pricey. Nonetheless this is a keeper
The server was too nice. Forgot his name but the one with the beard and he knows Spanish. The food was also good but his service was the best!
Always a perfect experience!
The entire experience was perfect start to finish. The restaurant is very nice and clean down to the polished silverware to the bathrooms. Ask for Devon, Daniel, or Luis. The made great recommendations.
Great as always. A little chilly next to the glass leading to the patio but it is quite cold out
It was fantastic as usual. The food was fresh and delicious, the service was good, and the vibe was fun and upbeat
Love the live music. Made dinner more enjoyable.
Always great food and service. One of my favorite places to go in Indy. They steak dishes are my favorite.
Food was amazing would highly recommended the restaurant. For the side of party (20) would have liked two servers
This was my second visit to this restaurant and I have loved the food and service both times. The challenge is that seating is really close to other people who are not with you which makes it hard to have a conversation with the people you are there with and enjoying your own personal conversation! I will return but will also probably ask for different seating if possible.
I always enjoy coming to Los Arroyos! Love the food! Margaritas are fantastic, Staff is friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming! Will be back!
Wonderful food and good people but service was very slow.
I ordered a burrito thinking the beans and rice would be on the plate. Everything was in enclosed in the tortilla. The waiter was very understanding--providing extra guacamole. THE SANGRIA was very good (except there was no fruit in the pitcher). For dessert I ordered the Apple Taco--it came looking like a McDonald's Apple Turnover (cut in half). The filling tasted better than McDonalds, but there is no way this dish resembled a taco.
Service was slow. Drinks came out late. Chips were stale. Food was bland
Bright and tight seating to maximize dollars per seating. Food pretty good but just not a comforatble place to dine. Also, a bit over-priced.
Great food, great service will most certainly go back again
Really LOVE the decor and ambiance; the decor is Spanish-Mexican, instead of the usual sombreros hanging on the wall. Food is excellently prepared, from the appetizers to the main course. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants! Try the Cadillac margarita!
Much better than I expected.
