A delightful medley of seafood consisting of fresh diced barramundi, squid, shrimp, kiwi mussels, tossed with a cilantro, rocoto and garlic leche de tigre, served in a martini glass, garnished with cancha and choclo
Fresh barramundi, squid, shrimp, clams, kiwi mussels, gently tossed with cilantro pureed garlic, rocoto, fresh squeeze lime juice, alongside camote, cancha and choclo, served with a shot of leche de tigre
Kielbasa, strips of chicken breast, squid, p.e.i. mussels, little necks, shrimp and english peas, sautéed in a garlic butter-wine broth, simmered in saffron rice
The food wasnt great and the service was a little inconsistent. There was a live performer that went around to tables, so that can be really fun for special events. Outside seating looked a lot more pleasant. I wish we had gotten that.
1st time there.the waitress was very helpful in making our night easier to navigate the menu.
The service and attentiveness of the staff is always appreciated at Los Andes. Outdoor dining was perfect and the ambiance is lovely. A true gem in Providence.
My 3rd time here since 2018, and the food and service were amazing just as I remember! My favorite restuarant in Providence (and I don't do favorites).
Thank you for seating us in a very special area,it was our anniversary dinner
When you have something to celebrate..you go to Los Andes. You are guaranteed a fantastic meal and fantastic service.
We had exceptional service from Arilys and the food was outstanding with large portions. We sat out side despite some rain halfway through our meal and the atmosphere was festive and tropical. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was great, as usual. Our waiter was excellent and attentive. We’re returning guests because of the service we normally get.
On this particular visit, I do want to mention the experience we encountered with the host who seated us. I feel the comment that he made was unnecessary. To be honest, it was a little humiliating also. I didn’t think it bothered me, but it’s been a few days and I still feel some way about it. So I figured I’d share.
My party size had changed due to unforeseen events, but I did call ahead to notify the restaurant. I even received the email for the new reservation. I decided to keep our reservation instead of cancelling completely. I wanted it to be a special night for my husband- Father’s Day weekend and all. So when the host called my name to seat us, he must’ve felt he had to question why the party went from 6 to 2? Then tried to joke that we needed “better friends” because we have “bad friends”. He said all this in front of other patrons who were also waiting to be seated. His “humor” or deliverance was not needed, and honestly, unprofessional in my opinion. Them “bad friends” of ours are dealing with more bs and cancelling dinner reservations should not be one. So the comments and dry humor wasn’t appreciated.
I think it should be reminded to front staff that people from all walks of life come through those doors. No one knows what that person’s day was like or what battles a person is dealing with. Be mindful, be kind. As guests, it’s important to feel welcomed and appreciated that those who show up, are there to enjoy and escape the day’s worries.
Food was good; the prime rib was excellent. The patio dining was lovely, next to a Koi pond. Service was relatively efficient, but soulless. I think maybe he had too many tables.
Delicious food and nice atmosphere. There was a little wait even though we had a reservation, which was very understanding since rain was in the forecasted for the night which made the indoor seatings limited. We had the choice to seat indoor or outdoor, we chose outdoor hoping Mother Nature was on our side. It rained a little towards the end of our dinner but we were covered, Noone was wet. I wished I remembered our server name, he was amazing!
Fantastic- wish we could have sat outside, but the service, food & management are all wonderful
Communication was lacking from waitress … menu was not described correctly by waitress
Love Los Andes and it never disappoints! We sat outside last night and the food was amazing, great service also!
The food was fantastic. Very authentic. The only thing missing was a sweet potato in the ceviche, but that was so minor. Loved it!
We were very disappointed in los Andes tonight. My husband and I have eaten here numerous times and always loved it. It wasn’t the food that was a disappointment it was the seating. I literally made this reservation a month and a half ago on OpenTable and requested outdoor seating. When we got there they gave us the runaround about how it was Father’s Day weekend and they could not place reservations outside, they were first come first serve. So how does that really work… If you make a reservation for outside Shouldn’t you have preference???It was my parents first time coming here and it was my son’s 16th birthday and I really wanted it to be special. Therefore that is why I reserve the outdoor seating. Very disappointing and discouraged in the policy. I will definitely think twice about coming here again.
The food at Los Andes is imaginative and excellently prepared. The more adventurous can try some of the typical South American dishes; the more timid can stick to the delicious salmon or steaks. We loved the outdoor courtyard. Very relaxing and very festive on a warm summer evening.
It was a nice place to relax, have a drink, enjoy good food, and spend time with my friend.
Our server Janelle was incredible! Our food was gre
Deliciosa comida y suficiente, no te quedaras con hambre, excelente servicio!! Has reservacion para no esperar mucho
Amazing food, very well priced, friendly staff, lovely venue! Definitely would come again and again!
We were pleasantly surprised this lived up to the hype. It was a great experience on a nice-weather day in the outdoor patio space. Great vibe. Diverse clientele. Be prepared to either share a dish or bring food home. The portions are enormous, which would usually be a negative for me, but it is tasty, too!
Great food and a reasonable price. Definitely going back.
my wife, our friends Tom and Lynne, and I always enjoy our visits to Los Andes. The food and service are always excellent. Really enjoyed seeing that they have expanded the restaurant with a great big bar that I imagine is packed on weekend evenings. Our drinks, creative twists on common recipes, were also great!!
Always an excellent experience since I first found this amazing restaurant back in 2013! Favorite cevichi martini along with their lobster paella for two!
Great Experience. Like leaving the country without stepping on a plane.
The atmosphere is exceptional and welcoming.
You are made to feel like family by all the employees.
During our dinner, one of the owners stopped by and had a pleasant conversation with us. As if we knew him all our lives. Really unique and welcoming!
Foodies will love this place. From apps, entrees to deserts, are all exceptional.
The mix of ingredients are outstanding and unique.
If you want a truly memorable experience, this is the place.
James was our waiter and he was great about suggestions. We loved the food and the drinks.
Made the reservation, requested outdoor seating. I was told there was none BUT I could see there were tables open. The food was salty and the drinks were watered down. Will I give it another try? yes. I am in a rush to go back? No. When I do, I’m not waisting my money on the alcohol.
Everything about the restaurant is great. Food portion, the service and the atmosphere. Everyone was very polite and welcoming and everything came out so fast. Definitely coming back again.
Literally one of my favorites restaurants. Everything here is good, the food, the staff the ambiance, it's all great!
Everything was great about this restaurant! We fell in love, the only I can say that can be a lil better is the wait to be seated was a lil messy but over all I recommend this place!
Our favorite restaurant! Incredible food, beautiful atmosphere and stellar service!
Amazing food and atmosphere!
The food was great. The Sangria was strong! Was a great experience
The best food in Rhode Island!
Los Andes is my favourite restaurant in Providence, we always go there for special occasions. The quality of the food, wait staff and atmosphere is always top notch. I really love the new outdoor space, it's super calming to watch the pond and Koi fish. More places in Providence need to take note.
Love it! I always have a great experience at Los Andes!
It’s our first time having Peruvian food. We absolutely love it- especially the ceviche. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive!! Definitely will come back when we are in town again.
We were visiting Rhode Island and someone suggested we come here - so glad we did - everything was excellent and our server, Rolando couldn’t have been any better. He was so good, my water was never empty always right there filling it up, he was just a delight.
The great surprise was the outside area! We had the most pleasurable experience with delightful atmosphere, of course the food was absolutley delectable.
