Andrés was a great server — very attentive and constantly checking in on us. He’s one of the best we’ve had at this location and my husband was impressed with him. Our family came in for a late breakfast. We ordered menudo, chilaquiles and lengua dishes and all were delicious. The drinks were also wonderful. Some went with agua fresca - jamaica or agua de pepino - while others got mimosas or margaritas. The mariachi was excellent! The only downside was that it was hard for us to carry on meaningful conversation, but when they took a break we got to enjoy each others company and talk. I’d recommend this place hands down to friends and family. Thank you all for a great start to our day!

Booked for a party of 8 for breakfast. Restaurant inside is beautiful. Ordered the Queso Fresco and Guacamole which was delicious. Came with handmade tortillas and pan dulce. Overall food was pretty good and portions were great almost big enough to share. Waitress was attentive HOWEVER, when we ordered water she brought out bottle. We thought this was just some great service or perk from the restaurant. We didn’t know we would be charged for the water and was not given an option would have 100% preferred tap water rather than to be charged $3.00 per bottle water (~8 oz). We spoke to the manager about this because I wasn’t sure if this was the waitress fault OR if this was just how they trained them to bring the bill higher since a gratuity fee is automatically applied to large parties (standard for most restaurants so not surprised). Was brushed off by one manager and then came back later and was told would be contacted…have not yet. Also, I did not receive a receipt and am still waiting on a copy. ALSO, I don’t recommend getting the picture. It’s $25 per picture it does come with a frame but really not worth it. We asked if we could get digital copies with it and have yet to receive. I spoke to the manager about this as well and they said they could not do anything about it since it’s a third party vendor. Would have gladly gave a better rating if these issues were resolved more promptly. Almost felt like the restaurant was scamming us anyway they could. And very weird that there is no direct number to the Pico restaurant only the Hesperia one. If you go to the site the 562 number sends you to a “corporate” number. Again called them too and no resolution.

Second time here. This time it took well over 20 minutes to get acknowledge. Food is over priced for portions served. It’s a beautiful restaurant for sure. Mariachi is a plus DJ is a plus. But when you don’t get great service from the start everything will just be meh. First time we were a party of 11 gratuity automatically added okay perfect servers work hard they deserve it but when Tip is already included and you don’t get service right away now that’s a problem. Work hard for that tip. We as patrons work hard to spend that money make it all worth it by providing speedy service and attentiveness.

Overpriced Mexican Food. We ordered EL CHICHARRON DE RIBEYE as an appetizer and it was too salty and the Ribeye was mostly fatty tips which we could not eat, it was also extremely salty. The drinks were ok but the waitress kept pushing us to buy more expensive drinks. They do NOT serve water, you have to buy a cheap over priced water bottle. The two dishes we ordered were ok. The rice was very dry. The tortillas are small and the taste are simple. We had to ask two other waiters to help us because our waitress disappeared. I hate to leave bad reviews but this is the only way we can help others make a better choices and some sometimes help restaurants improve. Hopefully this restaurant reads reviews and make changes. I will probably not return.

Food wasn’t good at all not sure if it’s because we had a big party but our drinks were half way full in a small cup I wish I had taken a picture . Still not a good reason especially since I reserved a week in advance . Service was great from our main waiter, there was a guy who wasn’t our waiter passing our drinks very aggressively but we just ignored him.
