   Disappointing. We Ordered guac, ahi tosdada special, shrimp tacos, quesa barillias, flights of margaritas, flan. Guac flavorless. Ahi tostada good, shrimp taco good. Quesa barillias was meh. One of the margaritas came in a broken glass. Yes, broken. Not exaggerating. Flan was essentially scrambled eggs in the shape of flan with a sickening sweet caramel sauce. Large single serving, completely unpalatable. We sat on patio. Nice people watching. Inside music was too loud for my preference, but patio low noise. Placement of heaters between tables inconsiderate with tripping hazards. With the hype of Tra Vigne chef and upscale location, my expectations for a pleasant meal missed the mark. Not even in the ZIP code of a good meal. If you are going to try this place, bring your own garlic and cilantro and any other Mex flavor you enjoy, cuz at Los Agave they haven’t heard of flavor yet.

   The food was delicious but the service was extremely slow. However, the manager did comp our meal due to our overly long wait time which was very unexpected and appreciated. The noise level inside is loud due to the high ceilings and nothing to absorb the sound. The music was extremely loud but it was a Friday night with a younger crowd. I probably will not go back but will say again that the food was excellent. So if you don’t mind loud music and slow service I would recommend it.

   Our lunch on the patio was very pleasant, shady and cool. Excellent friendly server and other service. Our group enjoyed their enchiladas (mole and green suizas) very much; Caesar salad with chicken was good. Reasonably priced for lunch. Beautiful interior.

   We sat outside. The location is lovely. The service was great and they had a very talented trio playing (maybe just for Mother's Day?) The food was outstanding -- great ingredients, taste, and presentation.

    We loved our experience at Los Agaves. Jessie did a wonderful job being attentive to us, suggesting food items, and his knowledge of the menu was outstanding. The only issue we had was a batch of beans that were sent out, and the owner quickly resolved the matter with all the grace I would expect from a restauranteur. The enchiladas suizas was phenomenal, and the special green pozole was to die for. Truly an experience worth paying for.

    Great food great drinks outside seating was nice, inside noise is very high. Took 20 minutes before we could order any food though, and then it all came very rapidly. Good news is the food is insanely good.

    Overall a disappointment, especially as the restaurant was recommended by people in the hospitality industry but I guess each to their own. On the positive side, my cocktail (Pina Caliente?) was yummy. The negatives - chips thick and tasteless despite my liberal sprinkling of salt and the salsa (okay rendition); the mole enchiladas were not enchiladas at all but merely two skimpily filled soft tacos with birria (meat and sauce was good but nothing outstanding) laid on their side; beans and rice flavorless despite dousing with the salsa and probably the worst offense besides the price point for what you received, was the coffee flank, it was quite overbaked to the point of curdling, plus it was served too chilled, both ruining what a flan should be. Totally missed the mark for me.

    The drinks were well prepared and tasty. The service was friendly, fun and timely. The food, however, is another matter. Both of us had different dishes which purportedly contained beef. The ‘beef’ consisted of something more like an unchewable gristle! We may return for drinks and their excellent guacamole, but that’s all..

    I will not return. Our appetizer was completely forgotten. The entrees were barely Luke warm. The truck when they had it was great. Unfortunately the restaurant was a huge over priced disappointment.

    Visiting from out of town- loved the look of the restaurant. But the food was so spicy it was not edible! I doused mine in sour cream and couldn’t eat the veggies. I did the thing that was close to a fajita with cheese. Guac was cold, not fresh made at the table but good.

    Superb mole chicken. Best I have had in California. Service staff was excellent. Initially seated at a table for 2 by a huge pillar. Ugh (should not be tables there - too tight). They kindly reseated us. Very much appreciated. Food and service were 5 star. A bit noisy and the pillars table ... those rated a 4 star (the pilot table was a 1 star but the general setting was bright and open - a bit loud but fun).

    Came to have dinner for Valentine’s we were greeted and brought to our table right away. I had been there before so I wanted to give my husband the experience and he loved it just as much as I did. I had the quesabirias which are delish and my most favorite dish there. I can’t forget my drink this time I had La Tóxica and it was soo good a lil on the strong side but I enjoyed it. Hubby had the Enchiladas suizas and a side of tacos and loved it. Service was great the whole time will definitely be back again.

    This was our first time at this restaurant and our experience was great. It was Valentine’s Day so place was festive. Our food was delicious and we ordered two different things and switched halfway through. We will go back again.
